Our experience working with Blue Guava started out well but in the end they didn't pay their balance due so that has left a bad taste. They are ignoring all calls, texts, emails and gave us a bad address (mail was returned). In response to another review, they say they pay their vendors but I can attest, they *mostly* pay their vendors... unfortunately we have not been paid in full. We will not work with them again and based on our conversation with the homeowner, I couldn't recommend them to anyone. I promise you want to hire them. Affordable, fast, professional. We hired a well-known company who showed up an hour late and took a bed, entertainment center, kids' bed, and a couple dressers and it took an hour-and-a-half and charged us $700. They were asking to borrow our tools. They were breaking furniture apart like cavemen. They were bumping into our walls all the way down the stairs and out the front door. Blue Guava did about ten times the work (no exaggeration), in only 2.5-3 hours longer for only $250 more than the big company. They brought their own tools and quickly disassembled furniture when necessary. Further, they identified what was donatable, took it to Goodwill, and brought us back receipts for our tax returns. After a recent storm blew down part of my fence, I needed help removing the damaged part along with a large wooden bench that had become severely weathered. Blue Guava not only removed the debris for a good price, they were reliable, on-time, and worked with skill and care. They were also pleasant and professional.
