No chaos, no packed waiting room, no rushed appointments where you feel like you're on a conveyor belt. It's a husband-and-wife team, and you can feel that difference immediately. There's a level of care and attention that's hard to find, especially since we mainly reside in the Bay Area. They only schedule about two weeks out, which, at first, completely threw me and I was pissed by the inconvenience. I was used to booking way in advance and felt mildly panicked about it. But now I get it. That boundary is exactly what allows them to stay present, not overbook, and give each patient the time they deserve. The space is clean, easy to access, plenty of parking and best of all, it's not crowded. No line of stressed-out dogs and overwhelmed humans. We intentionally plan our dogs' vaccines and routine care around being in the area so we can come here. That's how worth it it is.

I so appreciated how Dr. Roberts and her staff helped her pass. There was no rush or hurry. They left me and Little Miss in the exam room by ourselves for quite a while. I so appreciated having that last time alone with her. Dr Roberts and her assistant came in and carefully examined Little Miss to make sure putting her to sleep was the right decision. The first shot was to make her drowsy and the second put her to sleep, very humane. They helped me wrap her up and out the door I went to bury her. This place and his too sweet response was an act I believed he has many years of being this way but when his vet made a mistake she didn't take responsibility. He said he had to leave his wife was sick and he had to take her to the hospital (oh sympathy for him now) well if she is that sick call an ambulance. My pup is super friendly and they spoiled him with treats during the consult. The front desk lady was so accommodating and found a window to fit my pup into the schedule for the mini surgery the same week?! The procedure was no muss, no fuss (took less than 15 minutes) and it costs a fraction of what our normal vet was going to charge. No hidden fees, no "fee for processing the fee" here. Something I've noticed, It gets harder, and harder saying goodbye. My wife and I have been crying since 3pm, it's 8pm now, no dinner, no nothing, just tears. Knowing we'll never see our sweet "Luke" in this life again, is gut wrenching. He was something special, I know all pet owners say something similar. But, in fact he was very special. He had more facial expressions than any of my other 4 legged besties. He and I would have conversations and in his own special way we'd communicate. He'd wake me up every morning, at the same time every day, with his cold nose on my back or arm. Who's going to do that, now that he's gone. Anyway Art Spencer was very kind, patient and understanding as was Barbara and the other young lady (who's name escapes me). They were all very kind and understanding in our time of grief.
