He installed 4 structural posts, replaced ties and repaired as needed. He is an extremely hard worker and goes above and beyond to get the job done. His bid included addressing the structural issues instead of just replacing ties at a very good bid while the other 2 contractors just wanted to replace ties and never discussed the lack of dead men/supports in one area of the wall. I got a prompt reply from someone named Chad, which was promising since he was so quick to respond and let me know that he could call me on Monday to discuss (this was a Friday) or I could call their office. I thanked him for his quick response, gave him my contact information, and told him I looked forward to hearing from him on Monday. Well, Monday came and went and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called the number that was listed in his reply and left a voicemail asking for a call back to schedule an estimate or discuss further. It has now been more than a month and I still haven't heard from this company. If they are this bad at communicating from the start, I would not have high hopes for actually working with them. I was disappointed since the Yelp reviews were promising. I'm glad that others have had better experiences with Knoble Engineering and was hoping I would be able to add to their positive reviews, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't feel it makes sense for me to chase someone that I am trying to give my business to. Luckily, I found another engineer for my project that has been far more responsive.
