The vegetables were raw and unseasoned. We had the following vegetables. Onions and zucchini and mushrooms. We grilled them and we had to dip them in the sauces to add flavor. For the meats. Short ribs were extremely fatty and chewy and the seasoning was bland. Short ribs on no bone Was very fatty and chewy and the way it was cut was like it was cut by hand not even made it hard to grill. Ox tongue Had same seasoning as the short ribs. Not much flavor in the sauce. It was ok nothing special. Pork belly Was cut so small made it hard to grill properly. No seasoning on the pork belly. There are some items you have to pay extra like lettuce or ice cream. My main gripe aside from the hot corner was that all the bbq meats were a thin cut (which is fine for a quick bbq) but that it was drowning in sauces. You can order their special sauce on the side or make your own with the one on the table. LET THE MEAT BE MEAT! Not everything needs to be marinated!! Unless you're trying to hide/something. I don't know if it's just this restaurant or maybe Ina MTL thing... but it was just so saucey.. and not in the good way.
