I've been going to this location for years, and usually it's just a quick in-and-out type of place. No real greetings, just business. But yesterday was completely different. The young man working the counter was honestly one of the kindest and most respectful employees I've experienced in a very long time. While I was waiting, I watched how he greeted every single person with a smile, kindness, and genuine respect. Some people didn't even acknowledge him back, but he still smiled and wished them a good day. As an older woman, it was refreshing to witness that kind of energy and professionalism from someone so young. He completely changed the vibe of the store and honestly made my evening better just by being kind. I hope management knows what a great employee they have because people like that are rare nowadays. A couple of LA County Sheriffs had also stopped in for coffee, and we made small talk while I payed for my coffee. A cursory look around the store showed all the usual stock of snacks, treats, drinks, and all the nicotine you can smoke behind the counter. COVID safety measures include a plastic sheet across the register, and the usual signage to wash your hands and wear a mask. Not quite as neurotic as my local 7 Eleven stores that now insist on pouring my coffee for me... not sure what that's about. In any event, conveniently close to Bonelli Park where I've started running again, so I'm sure I'll be here in the near future for a post-exercise calorie and caffeine refill!

First-time visitor to this store…read more Most 711s resemble each other, carry the same type of merchandise, and have the same store layouts, etc. What made this store different was the customer service provided by the lone female employee. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store. She was friendly, offered to assist me with a question about a specific item, and wished me a great day. Perhaps not a big deal to have this type of interaction with a store employee; however, to me, it's the small things that have the most significant impact. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I kept showing her I paid for everything already, she continued to insist I pay again. My husband and friend eventually just said "no we paid already, that's on your system" and walked out, as I hate causing a scene and she clearly wasn't understanding. My entire store order was available. Yay! Not only were all my items available, but the store associate loaded all my sodas (I purchased quite a bit of 12 pack sodas) into my trunk. If you do this I just recommend going in and explaining there and visually showing them what's going on. Thank god the order came in before they closed. I had to pay $15 copay on top of the third party app charges. It is what it is. We were welcomed coming in which was nice. Shop was a bit disorganized but otherwise alright looking.
