I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Walgreens today, particularly from call representative Anita and her supervisor, Call Center Specialist Melissa. I currently have COVID and am not feeling well, so I specifically ordered a COVID test for delivery because I did not want to go into a Walgreens location, expose employees or customers, or risk spreading COVID to anyone else. I was guaranteed delivery within one hour. Approximately 40 minutes after placing my order, I received a notification that there was a problem and my order had been delayed. At approximately 4:25 p.m., I called the customer service number provided in the Walgreens app for assistance. Instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told they had no ETA, did not know what was happening with my order, and that I should call the Walgreens location myself to find out what was going on. I explained very clearly to both Anita and Melissa that I have COVID, I am sick, and the entire reason I paid for delivery was so that I would NOT have to go into the store and potentially expose other people. Neither representative seemed concerned about that or made any meaningful effort to help find a solution. There was no attempt to contact the store on my behalf, determine what happened to the delivery, provide an alternative, or even demonstrate basic empathy for the situation. What is especially troubling is that this is a pharmacy. Sick people rely on Walgreens for medications, testing supplies, and other health-related necessities. When a customer tells you they have COVID and are actively trying to avoid exposing the public, the response should not essentially be, "We don't know what's happening, call the store yourself." I even explained that without assistance, I may ultimately have to do exactly what I was trying to avoid: go to the location while sick with COVID just to get the test I was promised would be delivered. That concern did not seem to matter either. This experience was incredibly disappointing. Walgreens has publicly faced significant business and financial challenges, and experiences like this make it easier to understand why customers may choose to take their business elsewhere. A trusted pharmacy should be a place where customers, particularly sick customers, can expect compassion, accountability, and help finding a solution. Today, I received none of those things. Walgreens needs to seriously reevaluate how its call center representatives and supervisors are trained to handle situations involving sick customers and failed delivery promises. It's alright. Had to pick up a third party vendor's prescription here and I guess the pharmacy staff were a bit clueless on what was going on. If you do this I just recommend going in and explaining there and visually showing them what's going on. Thank god the order came in before they closed. I had to pay $15 copay on top of the third party app charges. It is what it is. We were welcomed coming in which was nice. Shop was a bit disorganized but otherwise alright looking. read more

Used to get all my pictures printed here for the past few years. I print pictures for baby book / crafts regularly and grab any household necessities. The last batch of pictures was unprofessional. The crop was off on some of my wallets and 4x4, people's faces were cut in half. I know to always check the cropping before submitting, which I did. I also ordered 4x4 photos and they gave me 4x6 photos with a giant white strip. I informed the person there who told me he was one of the managers. He said I'm supposed to trim my own photos to the 4x4 size and it depends on who's working, the photo service may be different every time. No resolution was offered. read more

3.5-4 stars Placed my first ever pick-up in store order, for Walgreens, the other day and it was relatively quick and simple - like other stores I've placed pick-up in store orders for. First and foremost, I am not a regular shopper of Walgreens, but there were just a few deals that were too good to pass on. There were plenty of parking spots near the entrance and once I walked in, I spotted the "Pick Up Orders" sign in the back so I headed on back. Since there was only one employee, I waited until they finished up ringing a customer before they came to pick-up my order from the shelf. Then we walked to the front register for them to "ring" up my online order. Despite the online website saying that one could "decline" the bag provided, and save the bag fee, the employee said that I could not decline the bag and had to pay for it, since it was a "service" for them to grab your items for you. I normally do not rely on pick-up in store, but since the coupons were "online" coupons, had to place the orders for either pick-up or shipping. After double checking the items in my order, I asked if I could have a bag of chocolate exchanged, since there were deep cuts to the packaging and it was a gift (and due to safety). This is for pharmacy only: we have to go to Walgreens for insurance and this is close to home. We have to use drive up for physical reasons. The wait is always long, which I can understand, but only ONCE has someone said we'll be with you shortly as there are a couple of people ahead of you, which was great. Other times you just sit there, not knowing if they even know you're there. Today we sat for 10 minutes and no one ever came or said anything. This Walgreens is my neighborhood, drugstore and pharmacy. The pharmacy is very good in filling prescriptions usually within the same day. I like the shelves in the store. They often have some extra stuff that you don't see they are never very busy for a small, drugstore pharmacy. They have a pretty good selection of things. I do recommend them. read more

Just wanted to say, I have to thank Bryce the manager here at this Walgreens. For three days I had tried to contact by phone, the pharmacy department to have prescriptions refilled for my mother. After being put on hold by an automated system and no one ever coming back on, I finally contacted the store itself and spoke with Bryce. He was extremely helpful, very polite, and he himself went back to the pharmacy department and logged into the system and helped me get my mothers order filled. I don't live near my mother, so everything was by phone but he was such a great help. Perhaps the pharmacy department needs more staffing especially this season with colds, flus and Covid. Made an appointment for my kid's second Covid vaccine. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I asked for a status. The girl who worked the front handed me a form to sign. She said the paper 'got stuck'. I have a feeling they just forgot about us. One hour later my daughter's name is finally called. We're waited for a total of 1.5 hour, and I'm not making this up. This used to be a great pharmacy location. Things started going downhill during the pandemic. I was understanding, I was managing a retail store and understood supply chain issues and employee issues. The issue is we're now well past that and every month something else is wrong with my prescriptions. Dates get scattered for no discernible reason. Things on auto-refill get taken off auto-refill. Every month staff gives me a different reassurance that things are fixed. Every month they are not. We're at a point where I check the website for my refill updates and request refills when I see one wasn't processed and it still doesn't get processed. When I asked why some of my meds are getting auto filled and others are not I am told vaguely of some state law but the employee is unable to explain why this law applies to some of my medications but not others. I don't know if this is just a problem for this location or a systematic problem that's impacting all locations, but I'm about ready to take my prescription business elsewhere. My dad had his meds moved there recently after the local Rite Aid closed. He'd been having the prescriptions filled with Rite Aid with no issues for many years. As soon as they got moved to Walgreens he started having issues with his prescriptions getting refilled. Until things get sorted out I cannot recommend this location to anyone with any chronic conditions or ongoing prescriptions. read more

So we go in to get a birthday card that doesn't cost a whole lot. The lady at the counter has me swipe and insert my card over 3 times and says that it's an issue with my card. Definitely not my card. Then they proceed to tell me I need to use the ATM and have that charge me a service charge to get this birthday card. I want to make a complaint . I have been a customer at this Walgreens for so many years and very happy with the pharmacy staffs. However, I'm very disappointing today regards to the N95 masks was not given per person, but only per house hold. Associate of Walgreen said their manager were give instruction only 3 masks per household, not per person. I went in with my neighbor and yet they refuse to give to her . They assumed that we are under same house and not listening . Her attitude make us feel uncomfortable because we are asian. Walgreens Manager at this location should read below and train their associate correctly According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), there will be a limit of three free N95 masks per person through this program. This review is for the pharmacy. I understand that these are stressful times but some of the employees in the pharmacy are just plain rude. They lack empathy and customer service skills. Today, I picked up my prescription and the young female told me the doctor had not faxed the prescription. I told her my doctor's assistant faxed it while I was in the office. She told me rudely that I was wrong so I asked her to check again. Guess what? The prescription was in a stack of papers by the fax machine. At this particular Pharmacy at Walgreens, I found a "Jewel." Bill always, on my worst days (it's been a few) has immediately stopped what he is doing to assist me if I am displeased. He is not disrespectful nor argumentative, or even appear irritated. He is always humble and so helpful especially during the pandemic, to be treated with so much kindness. At times, the clerks are not as pleasant, however; Bill makes up for any complaints I've had.
