Poor Communication, Inconsistent Service, and Unprofessional Behavior…read more From the very beginning, communication with Dog Doody Defender was off. I was told I didn't need to be present for the service, but the first visit ended with no work done because the technician said he wasn't sure it was my home. I had scheduled service twice a week, but things quickly went downhill. He went on vacation (which he did notify me about), but when he returned, he only did part of my yard and still missed multiple piles of dog waste. On the next visit, although he covered the whole yard, he again left waste behind. The following week, he refused to service my yard at all because one of my dogs was chained up in a fully fenced 8 ft yard. He claimed he was unsure if the dog could get out -- even though there were front and side yards he could have done with no risk or interaction with the dog. But he chose to do nothing. Then came the invoicing issue. I received an invoice clearly marked due July 16 -- this was around June 19 or 20. Despite that, he texted me saying "pay your bill before my next service," which felt pushy and out of line. I double-checked the invoice, and I wasn't wrong -- the due date was in July. I didn't respond right away, and he followed up again, insisting I pay and secure my dogs before his arrival -- even though the bill wasn't due yet. At this point, I told him I felt bullied and explained the timing of when I let my dogs out. I also let him know I had paid. Instead of acknowledging the concern, he abruptly canceled my service without explanation. When I attempted to call him for clarity, he blocked my number. In short, Dog Doody Defender provided spotty service, poor communication, and showed a complete lack of professionalism. If you choose to use them, be prepared to agree with everything they say -- or risk being dropped without warning. I cannot recommend them.

Nice service for low mobility and elder folks! And for anyone that just gets behind on picking up after their own pup in their yard. Would recommend to try this company. It's rare…read moreto find a company that combines reliability with genuine care for their customers, but this team nailed it, especially Natalie, the owner! The convenience they offer is unmatched. Honestly, who wants to pick up after their dog, especially in cold weather? Thanks to this service, I don't have to worry about it anymore. I'll be using them regularly and would recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and hassle-free experience!

This business is an administrative mess. We used them for about 9 months. They were supposed to be…read morehere on mondays. There was NO option for setting a few hour block time range for their service technician to arrive, they would just show up at random times of the day so we had to constantly be looking out for them to arrive all day to keep the dogs inside. We discussed with the company & technician that this lack of a specified time block of even a few hrs was problematic as we have three 100 pound excitable labs and we need advanced notice to ensure the dogs were not in the yard when they picked up the poop so that the dogs didnt jump up on the technician. They agreed to give us a 5-10 minutes text warning when on the way. But then we started experiencing many times when they didnt come on the schedule day at all because they claimed to be short handed or had staff vacations or it was too wet or too cold etc. when they decided to come on a different day we would not get any notice of what day that they were coming instead, they would just show up and sometimes we would not see the 5 minute advanced text in time to make sure the dogs were inside since we had no idea even what day they would show up. We again discussed the importance of knowing what day they would come so that we could be watching out for the text 5 minute warning, that we cant be connected to our phones 7 days a week for them to show up any random day of the week. Additionally when they dont come on the scheduled day and theres no notice of cancellation this resulted in us having our dogs cooped up inside for hours on end waiting for the technician to arrive, who doesnt end up showing up at all sometimes. You would think that a dog poop service they would realize this issue of needing advanced notice to the homeowner to keep dogs inside OR if thats not possible then at least maintain a consistent day/time of service. In warm months the scheduling issues became even worse, we started to have trouble with our lawn company because when the poop company didnt come on the scheduled day (day prior to the lawn company), it left our lawn company unhappy about mowing over dog poop resulting in dog poop stuck all over their equipment, and smashed dog pop stuck all over our lawn. We tried to switch the poop company to a day earlier, so that we didnt have this problem with the lawn company anymore if the poop company would be a day late. But poop 911 wouldn't accommodate a day change. We discussed that we really needed them to at least be here before the lawn company came or the lawn company was going to quit servicing our home. The technician for 911 poop agreed that he would be here no later than 8:00-8:15 on Wednesdays before the lawn company comes at 9 going forward. We tried this for about 5 weeks he never once made it here before 9. Today, he was supposed to be here no later than 8:15AM. I kept my 3 dogs inside since 8AM with no potty & outside play breaks. The technician text me at 9:50AM saying he would be here in 15 minutes at 10:05AM. By this point the lawn company had already come and gone again, with poop covered equipment, leaving smashed poop all over my lawn. So i text the technician again telling him the lawn company already left and we just need to switch days because he isnt getting here by 8:15AM like promised. No response at all from technician. At 10:40AM i finally text the company again asking when he is getting here because it's almost an hr passed when he said he was on his way here and my dogs have been inside for almost 3 hours now. The technician responds that they have to cancel the service. That being said the technician was a very nice person and he did do a good job of finding and removing the poop. We gave him a Christmas cash bonus. Unfortunately, the company is poorly run and apparently not interested in ensuring their technicians done get jumped on (or bitten, but thankfully my dogs are not aggressive, just over playful and excitable) by dogs, and not concerned with making their service predictable or reliable so as to not create stress and problems for the homeowner. This would have been 1 star review for this company if not for their employee/technician.

The amount of stress that it alleviates for me is invaluable. If you're hesitating making the investment in your sanity... Don't wait and just do it! There's nothing better than coming home at the end of the week to a clean yard... Only to have the dogs mess it up again! ... But not to worry because the Crew will be back to clean it all up. Before, when we tried to manage it on our own it was impossible... If we had a busy week we would get behind and that would make for a terrible next week, not to mention in the summer when it's hot . The last thing you want is your yard not clean when you have dogs. The company is reliable, their messaging and alert system through text is awesome... You always know what they're up to and when they're done! I love that when we became a customer we had so many options on how to customize the cleanup. One of my dogs loves to use the driveway as his bathroom... Our last service did not pick up off the driveway and that was always annoying, but not anymore. I was able to customize the cleanup area, the frequency and it has been a great experience and a game changer for our busy family. Thank you No. 2 Crew for helping me with such a dirty job! A pic below of the ones responsible for all the mess! Ryder and Champ say thank you No. 2 Crew!

She overcharged my aunt by quite a bit by adding on a fee to have her granddaughter stop in and remove cat litter. She also gave the granddaughter a key without my aunt's prior knowledge or approval.
