Hannah was insanely helpful and knowledgeable, but she was also very friendly and funny. This is by far the worse experience you can imagine. Save yourself and do NOT buy from these people. We bought a Bull Frog hot tub becuase it was supposed to be the best. Well, it isn't and Pool and Spa doesn't care. They got their money and they want more. This Hot Tub has leaked starting 10 months after it was installed brand new. It has not stopped leaking since. Two years later it is still leaking. They have come to fix it numerous times, when you are lucky enough to get someone on the phone that is - we usually wind up driving there to speak to someone in person. They started trying to repair it while it was still under warranty. They never could stop the leaking while under warranty, made us wait until it got warm enough for them to work on it. Now that it is warm enough they havent been back to repair it. Here it is May 31 after many weeks of warm weather, I stopped by today to inquire as to when they would be back to fix the leaking. The latest they told us is it will be a 2 day job to repair and they are giving us a deal at $750 a day. So now, even though it has been leaking 10 months after installation and never stopped, they're telling me it's my $1500 problem and I need to pay to have it repaired. I have bought hot tubs from Aqua Land over the years as well. Never once had an issue that they did not step up and repair it to my satisfaction always under warranty. I called on 7/2/25 for repair of my hot tub that was purchased at pool and spa depot in Clarksville. A repairman has come out to repair the unit but broke another piece during the repair. I've been charged retail for the part he broke. They have also tried charging me twice for the same parts. It's going on 4 months for this repair. It's not fixed yet, so it may be even longer than that. This company has poor business ethics. They told me that if 5he part the repairman broke, didn't break now, it would have broken soon, so that's my problem, not theirs. They also wasted weeks waiting for me to pay for parts that I already had paid for. Many phone calls and 2 trips to the store to show them the parts have been paid for and it had already been 5 weeks of wait time for them to order. I would give zero starts if I could. We paid cash for a top of the line hot tub 2 years ago, it has been nothing but a nightmare since then, constant leaks and other problems as well. I thought I was having a great experience and getting what I had wanted for a long time. I worked with the sales rep for 4 weeks and then received a price of all in what would I be spending. I made my appointment and paid 1/2 down. The next day they called wanting to tell me that the contract was voided because the pool was 14,000 more then what they had told me. Even though the sales rep and the manger signed off on the contract the day before. Now they will give me my money back but it will be a few days. They will then put it in the mail. I drove their and wrote a large check and they want to wait days to return my money. I will never be back to this company ever. Two pools destroyed by their incompetent installers Pool and Spa won't take your calls if there is a problem and you can tell it's a common issue cause their employees are instructed to say the manager Lucky is busy with a customer if you call and they want to know the purpose of your call and will take a message but he never calls back. We just want our money back. It's been a month and a half now and no pool. No one should have to go through what we have. Talked to Richard Warren all day about what all the online price was about, what all came with it ect. He says that price is wrong because the price was thousands of dollars more but he would honor it. He told us it came with everything. We asked all day about it from 9:30 am till I arrived at around 3pm. He was finding all of the details this whole time. I asked for him when i arrived, which was him. He then walked us over to the pool area and showed us the pool of choice. Then told us that he didnt come with the sprinkler and the expensive robot cleaner. No worries I could add that on or buy that at a later date. Then got us approved. Everything changed to oh its a Diy pool. Okay that's not an issue. We asked if they could install it for an additional price him and the other guy both said oh yeah for an additional 1800 for installing. We said oh okay that's fine add it. He jumps up runs to the back then comes back oh it is only liner, frame, and Skimmer. we said oh okay well let's add that 1800 for installation, he then back peddled again and oh we can't offer that with a DIY pool. You had all day and the one that said it came with everything, that the online was messed up and it came with everything even told us again upon arrival everything was included. We asked at the beginning what was all included, had the whole day he was supposed to figure it out then back peddled tons. I would never have someone this incompetent working for me. I would have gladly gone with the 9,000 or 15,000 pool but he couldn't get his stuff together. Could have made a sell if it wasn't for him. I can give you lists of people and places I shop at, and they all know I am a returning customer and have tons of cliental to which I would recommend places and people with good service. Yes the employees are helpful when it comes to chemicals but anything else you might as well forget it. Bought a pool last fall and it was to late in the season to use it. This year I opened it and can't get in. The ladder isn't right. I went to the store and got a print out on how to put the ladder together. Ask if they had someone who could come out to help. Nope kinda of like they don't service what they sell. So here it is June and still can't use my pool. read more

Bought on March 5th, was told we would have the pool installed in March. They got our date mixed up which pushed us down the schedule. They told us to get our sand so we did. We got rain, the sand is beginning to wash away. Our date got pushed off multiple times due to rain and one of the reschedules we were not even notified about. We were told our pool would be installed 5/11, the guy never showed up. I called 5/14 was assured we are on the schedule to be built that day and our pool WOULD be built that day. Not to worry until its about 5pm and we haven't heard from him because they work till dark. 5pm comes, nothing so I email again. I get out of church at 730 with an email from the scheduler asking if I have heard from the guy I said no. I have sent 2 emails this morning and called once and have yet to get a response. I had a Spa delivered Aug 16, 2022. It had a several leaks, faulty drain and a damaged end-panel which I promptly reported. The warranty person (Dannielle) said she would submit this claim and get back to me. On Aug 18 or 19 a service person came out to repair. He found the main leak yet was unable to repair. Dannielle was to follow-up in a day or two. She did NOT. I called back, more time passed and eventually she sent a crew on Sept 5th. The technicians said that normally this is a routine repair, but the design did not allow them to access the leak. They were not aware of the other leak or the drain that was not functioning which they agreed also needed to be addressed. I called Dannielle back that day and told her that I was concerned that I had a product that was defective. To repair the leak, the tub would have to be tipped and a hole cut in the floor. The hole would then have to be sealed. I bought a new hot tub not one that was obviously damaged. She said she would submit this to warranty and see if they would replace the tub. She said I would have an answer later that day or the next. Again, no response. I called back Sept 8th and Dannielle acted as if we had never spoken. She asked what I wanted to do? I reminded her that she was supposed to tell me if PSD would replace the Spa, or if I had to repair the existing tub. After several days of no response, I called her again. She said repair was required and arranged service for Sept 14th. Nobody showed. I waited around and decided to call her at 2:10 pm and 3:07. At 3:21 she returned my call. Turns out she knew earlier that morning that the crew would not be coming yet never called. Three strikes! I asked them to take the spa away and refund my money, which I feel is fair, given I have a defective product. Now they want to charge me $750 to haul away this defective product. Manager claims I did not give them an opportunity to repair. NO! I gave them 3 opportunities to repair! Stay away. They do NOT back their product! read more

Critical: Punctuality, Responsiveness Sharing our experience to help future buyers. 1. Communication is extremely poor and very slow from project manager (Jim) to salesman (Andrew). I would give the communication a solid F. We walked in and signed our contract the first week of August 2019 and pool was not even started until the last week of October 2019 (dig date of soil). 2. Beware that you will pay for electricians, plumbers, pool coping, pool deck, and rock removal and these are NOT included in your contract for your very large pool purchase. Read your contract carefully before signing. In fact I would have them write it but don't sign it that day (take it home to study it first). 3. Also be careful on reading your contract as "salt system" was discussed with salesman (Andrew) and checked on our contract at the top, but chlorine system was installed. Let me preface this by saying I don't typically do this. I have tried and cannot reach them to speak to a manager, so this is the best I have! We went to Pool and Spa Depot yesterday and had a TERRIBLE experience by one of their sales reps. He was friendly initially, but became increasingly agitated once we were going through the buying process. I was there with my 2 toddlers, my mom and my sister, as they were looking as well. One of my children was just touching the "flags" and this man literally snapped at him saying, "don't touch! You could hurt yourself!" very aggressively. I blew that first comment off. He continued to be rude and hateful, but the final straw was when he knocked my child onto the floor. While running my card for payment, my son was standing next to my sister. The employee knocked my son over on to the floor and lost his own footing when he came to hand me my card. My son had not moved and could have easily been stepped around if he had been paying attention. I asked if he was okay and he said "I just about killed myself!" while giving my child (a toddler) a mean look. He had done nothing more than scrape his knuckle. I'm sorry but that kind of attitude and those comments are completely uncalled for and unacceptable. Employees should never be allowed to represent a business this way, and I will no longer be recommending or going to them! read more

The absolute worst experience and customer service. Paid for a pool liner almost 3 months ago. Many no shows, no calls. This has been a nightmare!!! I don't mind waiting, but the lack of communication and numerous no shows is ridiculous....First had to call a month after paying IN FULL. Pool and Spa Depot couldn't find the liner that had been shipped to them. Finally located my liner. Next....Contractor has been out twice. 1st time...He didn't have all the materials needed and asked us to find bags or something to place on the steps to hold liner down. That wasn't a problem as he looked overwhelmed and exhausted, but nice enough. He returned after I called pool and spa depot letting them know we had not heard from him in almost 2 weeks. He does return that Friday evening seemingly under the influence of something (slurred speech, difficulty keeping eyes open, shorts falling down-exposing areas I didn't want to see and unstable on his feet). His female companion was more lucid and I could understand her. Then he left me with my light hanging by a wire due to a wasp sting (per he and girlfriend there were wasps swarming around the area). Not sure what they were seeing but I saw nothing flying around. Bizarre!...they were trying to get each other to pick up his tools claiming the swarm was flying all around. I was standing next to them and could not see anything flying near the tools. I was so relieved they decided to leave as I was VERY uncomfortable. Claimed he's worked too many days in a row so he would not be back until next Monday. Good, I had hoped he would either get some rest or sleep off whatever was causing the bizarre behavior. Monday came and went....Again...no show/no call. Called him Tuesday...he said he'd be here Thursday. Again, no show but this time he had pool and spa depot call. All the while they HAVE BEEN PAID. Will go anywhere but pool and spa depot!! I have been reluctant to submit this as I am fearful that this contractor knows where I live. Nice enough when not compromised by either exhaustion or.....whatever. We have called Pool and Spa Depot throughout this whole experience starting with the lost liner, no show, and nothing but the run around. read more

We started the process of getting a new pool liner for our inground pool on April 1st and our payment in full check was cashed within 3 days. We were told we would have a liner installed in 3-4 weeks. It took forever for them to even come out and do the measurments with one guy even showing up to say "i cant do it, I forgot my tools". Finally get it measured and it was weeks before we heard anything about the status of the liner. I called multiple times with promises of email communication and returned phone calls that never came. I finally called the disrict manager and he discovered our liner had been sitting in a warehouse in TN. He did have someone come that day to install our liner but........It was the wrong liner because they sent the wrong measurments to the manufacturer. So here we have to start the process over of getting a new liner manufactured. Amazingly that liner was manufactured in about a week and a half. They show up this past Tuesday to install our liner. It was put in over rust spots in the wall with no foam boarding, screws were left in under the liner around our pool steps and he says he will be back the next day to finish it. He never showed up. He told his superior that he had text us and came back to our home. That was not true. Wrinkles still in the liner, no water had neen added and as I mentioned it is over rust spots and screws and debri left underneath the liner. We were fortunate enought to get another pool company to come today to fix the huge mistakes they have made but with an additional major cost to us. I have spoken again with the district manager and he was dismissive to our concerns and treated me like I was ignorant to how this should be done. They finally offered us 200.00 dollars as a partial refund of the labor cost which I think is a huge slap in the face considering we paid them over 4100.00 and having to pay someone else to do it right. This has been the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company. They care nothing about their customers or making things right. read more

Please Ignore the one star review!! It was my first time ever buying a pool, my experience there was awesome!! Andrew Porter is the type of sales guy you want, he is not pushy, very knowledgable, & very professional. Mr. Porter answered all my questions to the fullest. All the staff was great helping me review the chemicals for the pool and what I needed to do. I decided to go with BACUACIL and I am very happy with that choice. I am always greeted promptly when entering the store unlike that other pool place on Campbell Ln that doesn't seem very interested in selling anything, not very welcoming either. I ordered my pool and within a week it was installed even though he said it may be up to a month. Very happy with my purchase and will shop here from now on! People need to understand that this business is different from the contractors hired to do the job, not a lot of people willing to do this type of work. They are two separate entities. Pool and Spa Depot can only hope for the best when scheduling an install of a quality product they sell and hope the contractors hold up their end in a timely manner.
