It was a total hit, so we started talking about in-ground pool options during late Spring 2021. Not necessarily sold on the idea of a fiberglass pool, we reached out to a manufacturer for more info on them as part of our due diligence and received an email from Vista Pools within less than an hour which led to a phone call and some preliminary ballpark info then a formal quote followed. Over the course of the next 6 weeks and consultations with several other area pool builders, Scott patiently indulged all our questions and even provided a recommendation for a vinyl liner pool builder when we told him we thought we were going to go that direction. At the end of the day though, and hearing many pool building horror stories, we felt the higher-priced investment of going the fiberglass route thru Vista Pools was worth the additional expense because Scott was the only pool builder we consulted with that we felt we could truly trust to do the job right. By the end of July 2021, we were under contract and our pool was ordered from the manufacturer with an anticipated late 2021/early 2022 dig date. Our dig started late January and 9 weeks later the project was finished. Scott was very communicative throughout the entire process, always letting us know when his crews would be onsite working, and was onsite & hands-on when he needed to be. Not to mention, all the calls/texts he answered during the entire process! Scott's crews that worked on the different phases of the build were all trustworthy, respective of us and our property, and worked hard to get the job done right and on time. And let's talk about integrity- they made us aware of problems that popped up during the build that we wouldn't have ever noticed on our own then put in the time and effort to make them right. That was the a-ha moment we knew we chose the right company for the job. Throughout the entire process, invoicing and the payment schedule was very transparent and easy which helped cutting such large checks less stressful. Vista made sure the pool was cleaned properly and we knew how to operate everything prior to "handing over the keys" so we felt confident in being new pool owners. Even after project completion, Scott still makes himself available to answer all of our new pool owner questions regarding the operation of our pool equipment, water chemistry, etc! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. And we recommend Vista Pools all the time to anyone who will listen.

My wife Samantha was looking for a contractor to build an outdoor kitchen for me and found and interviewed three to four different vendors. Ultimately Chad won our business with a bid that represented the best value and the most aggressive timeline. Chad's subcontractors were all professional and showed up on time. They made recommendations along the way that ultimately cost us a bit more money, but they were well received and well worth it in the end. Chad is an excellent project manager and has good relationships with his subcontractors which is key in getting them to show up nowadays. Chad was frequently on the jobsite checking on progress and ensuring we were happy with each phase of the project. Chad's project management skills are what sets him apart from other contractors in my mind. He plans for each phase of the project and ensures the client is happy before proceeding to the next phase which eliminates surprises, costly redoes, and keeps the project on time. Given the opportunity, my wife and I would certainly consider Chad and Beyond the Backdoor as a frontrunner for another outdoor project. His company delivers excellent quality with great value and gets the job done on time. If anyone wants to see pictures of my project, please contact Chad and he will let me know. I'm really glad we chose to hire Sam The Concrete Man Tulsa for our concrete driveway repairs. In…read moreaddition to some serious cracking I had on my driveway, which had led to erosion and buckling, we also needed a concrete wall/gutter along the side of my driveway replaced. Monte came out and met with me. He was very personable. I was looking at Sam The Concrete Man and OKCrete, one of their top competitors in the area. I settled on Sam The Concrete Man because Monte impressed me and did a great job with the estimate, and because the bid came in at a fair price. The crew that did the job was led by Jose. At the end of the day-long project, they realized they had made a mistake regarding the leveling of the concrete. Immediately, on their own and without me even requesting it, they volunteered to tear up the concrete and re-pour it to fix the issue. Sure enough, the next day, they were back at my house tearing up the concrete they had just poured, and then they fixed the issue within one day. It turned out beautifully. They really took care of me, and made a big fan out of me. They lost a lot of money on this job because they had to tear the concrete they had poured out and re-pour it to fix the issue, but they never complained. They took accountability on their own--something many businesses would not have done. They resolved the issue, and treated me exceptionally well through the process. The end result was beautiful and very well-done. I highly recommend Sam The Concrete Man Tulsa--they showed through this job how much integrity they have! 5/5 Stars.

We struggled to choose between asphalt or concrete, but after chatting with Glenn from Sam The Concrete Man, the decision was clear and we couldn't be happier! From start to finish, the crew was absolutely exceptional. They clearly explained the entire process, went to great lengths to ensure proper drainage and prep, and even spent time walking through the plan with our building neighbor next door to ensure that everyone was happy. After 2 days of non-stop work, we now have an incredible parking lot that we will enjoy for decades to come. As both a homeowner and commercial building owner, I have had many negative or neutral experiences with contractors - I'm sure we all have! Not showing up when they promised that they would... bait-and-switch tactics, no attention to detail, etc. I can 100% assure you that a project experience with Sam The Concrete Man will be a breath of fresh air! The owner Glenn and his entire crew are always on time, communicative, detail-oriented, and good-hearted honest people that love delighting their customers. We're saving up for a new patio at our home, and when we're ready to make it happen, Sam the Concrete Man will be our first call.
