They are a hospital, after all and we were willing to wait. It took an hour, but we were seen. This is no different than an ER for humans. I watched folks with cats and dogs needing emergency care and completely understood that triage has to take the most life threatening cases first. We were treated and got great care. All the staff were professional and friendly. I come to this hospital frequently and can't say enough about the care and compassion we receive.

Let me emphasize again! Bello arrived able to walk with…read moreonly mild leg trembling and had been drinking water on his own less than an hour earlier. Despite being the only client there, I was kept alone in an exam room for over three hours while he was separated from me. It is extremely hard to understand how it took that long just to run blood work, especially when no comfort care or treatment was provided. I repeatedly asked that he be given water and expressed concern that dehydration and stress would worsen his diabetes, but I was told nothing could be done without doctor authorization. The slow response, lack of urgency, and cold, rude demeanor of the veterinary technician made an already devastating situation worse. I paid nearly $800 for this visit, which did not provide relief or care, but instead added pain by contributing to Bello's suffering and taking away precious time I could have spent comforting him in his final hours. That night mattered because it became Bello's last.

Lily recently had an eye surgery, so I was paranoid reading reviews for other groomers. We'd prefer to keep the eye we still have. Soggy Dog definitely lives up to its 5-star reviews! Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. When I picked her up, Elle (we share a name!!) was holding her & Lily wasn't shaking?? She also wasn't desperate to leave; she was so chill?? Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! SUMMARY: Lily has her new grooming place :)))

They take the time to meet your dog, accommodate for which groomer your dog vibes with most to help alleviate any of their stress, communicate with you 30 minutes prior to completion so you could prepare for your pickup in a timely fashion, and send the cutest picture of your dog all groomed! Blue was received clean, relaxed, and happy. 10/10 would recommend!
