It just so happened that Raquel had availability when I needed a last minute sitter for my 4 year…read moreold beagle, Betsy. Raquel was very gracious to meet for a meet and greet so that I could feel at ease leaving Betsy with her. She was so very patient with me too! Raquel asked questions to understand how well Betsy would fit in with Raquel's routine and services. This made me confident Raquel would give Betsy the utmost care. During Betsy's stay I received daily photos and updates which I appreciated so much. Raquel made sure Betsy got enough exercise to keep her anxiety down and has a comfy space where I'm sure dogs feel right at home when they are with her. I will definitely be checking with The Dog Heeler if I ever need her services again.

Raquel is like the dog whisperer, indeed! Not only did she tend to my two senior dogs for a few days, she also stayed in my home to watch them. My dogs can have great anxiety when I leave, so it helps to have someone willing (and trusting) to stay in your home to keep the dogs in their familiar environment while mom is away. Raquel first came over for a meet and greet, and my dogs immediately fell in love with her (literally, my dachshund insisted on gazing directly into her eyes). I left instructions for her that she graciously followed. She was really responsive if I had to text her for any reason, and she was proactive about sending photos of the dogs with daily updates to help ease my anxiety (because I am pretty sure I have a co-dependent relationship with my dogs LOL). Upon return from my trip, Raquel had left me a pleasant surprise of a "thank you for your business" gift that contained a calming essential oil spray with instructions for use for my dogs. It smells amazing and was such a thoughtful gift! If you need a regular dog walker, or a dog-and-home-sitter, Raquel is trustworthy and reliable, she will treat your home with respect, and most importantly, your dogs will be better for having experienced the healing touch of Raquel. Her love and passion for dogs is beyond measure!

He is knowingly sending out faulty, broken…read moremerchandise that he received from his manufacturer -so that he doesn't have to incur the costs of having them remade. As a result, when you order from this company, you'll receive broken, faulty merchandise and he will not honor his return policy. Some comments on Amazon reveal this as well. IT IS A SCAM. For $371.05, I purchased a dog jogger/stroller in October 2016. This amount was less than what it sold for at Amazon because the owner knowingly sent a defective product, but he failed to tell me that was the reason for the discount. When I received the product, the front wheel shook when walking or jogging. I contacted Matthys and he said he received a lot of complaints stating the same. Matthys said that if I held on, he would send me a new front wheel that worked but that he had to work things out with his manufacturer/engineers first. In writing, at my request, he also wrote that he would give back a full refund if he was unable to send out a working wheel. For months, Matthys kept telling me that he was busy and never got around to it. Finally, he sent me another wheel and the same thing happened -it shook when I walked or jogged. I told this to him and he admitted that he could see that it was shaking in the video I sent him. He then told me that he was going to get with his manufacturer and engineers about it. More time went by with him saying he hadn't gotten around to it. I finally told him I wanted my money back and he refused. Going out of my way to be with a small business worked against me and had he been honest, that would have been frustrating but doable. Going out of my way to be patient with a small business that tricks and lies to their customers to get rid of faulty products so they don't bear the costs of their own mistakes is unacceptable.

My one girl had an eye contusion after the first appointment. I worried that he was frustrated and rough with my dogs. The straw that finally made me quit his service was yesterday when Miguel pulls into my driveway, outside my 3-bay garage. Plenty of concrete to drive on, but this guy proceeds to drive off the concrete and run over one of my landscape lights. I was yelling at him to stop but nope .. he hit the light anyway. When I walked up to him in his vehicle he said he was upset that I yelled at him, to which I replied (not yelling) that customers would't yell at him if he would not run over landscape lighting. The fellow said he wouldn't groom my dogs since I had yelled at him and that was fine with me. There are better and more responsible vendors out there who don't complain about the dogs they work with and who are overall more responsible. As I said earlier, my one Cavalier had an eye contusion appear right after the latest grooming by Miguel. Run, don't walk, away from 4 Paws Mobile Grooming.
