I had to make unplanned emergency trip home and found uncleaned litter box. When questioned, Christopher admitted to not cleaning it. In addition, Christopher left notebook with code to my house at the car shop and could not get into my house the first day he was supposed to visit my cat.

When I left town for a few days, the question loomed: who will look after my cat? CORA to the…read morerescue! Before I left town, Christopher (owner of CORA) came over so he and Sally The Cat could get to know each other and he could get familiar with the house, wood stove, and most importantly, WHERE THE CAT FOOD WAS KEPT. I could tell right away that Christopher knew animals in a different way than most. Although he'd barely spent any time with her, he could tell she was feeling shy, gave her some space, and soon she was approaching him for pats. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in asking about Sally's preferences when being petted, as well as his being interested in her other quirks and routines. While I was out of town during winter, Christopher came over twice daily to keep the fire going (we only have a wood stove for heat), feed, and pat her. I was surprised to get some emailed letters "from Sally" while I was gone, where I got to hear how she was doing, and see some photos of my happy kitty. I highly recommend CORA pet services. They are kind, attentive to your needs, and affordable.

I bought a puppy from North Bend Retriever Kennel. I wanted…read morea smart dog with good lines. I have never gotten anything but rescue dogs. I needed a dog that could be trained to become a service dog. My pup is a handsome and very intelligent dog. He is right in line with becoming a candidate for service training. That said, I think the folks in the reviews that I read may have been looking for a high gloss dog centric environment. NBR raises and trains hunting dogs. Smart hunting dogs. The office is more like a hunting cabin then Nordstroms. The kennels do not have fluffy dog beds and tv's. (Yes, I've seen that.) It is a safe kennel for dogs. They train dogs and have for many years and have excellent results. I think what happens to folks is that their dog is their baby and needs to be treated as if the dog will need therapy for the drama of their 'abandonment' of the family leaving the baby behind while on vacation. Don't get me wrong. My dog IS a member of the family who sleeps in my bed but he is still a dog. He NEEDS to know right from wrong so we can enjoy being together. I have kids and they have rules that helps them know where they stand and how to behave. Dogs learn differently and NBK may seem ruff and blunt in training practices but the dog walks away knowing exactly what you expect and how to do. It isn't a fortune to train with them as well. They get to the point and cover a lot of ground because they are no nonsense. So if you don't need shine counters and matching work shirts in a bright highly decorated environment then call them, train your dog and have a family member who you can walk without being pulled, comes back the first time you call, can sit beside you no matter what the distraction and a model of it's breed. That's who they are. I trust them implicitly.
