Got several tattoos here, great tattoo artists and the piercer is nice! Could be more female friendly but all the guys there are friendly.

I needed to get a piercing removed and called "No Regrets" to find out if they would be able to do…read morethat. The male reception who answered the phone was very sweet and told me that they do and shared their hours with me. Its conveniently located in downtown Champaign and lucky me, I was able to nab one of the few parking spots right in front of the store. I went inside and "checked in" (they only accept walk in appointments for piercings, apparently) and after a 30 min wait was called back by Amber W. She was a thorough professional and very gentle. She removed my piercing with ease and helped me find a new piece to wear. Throughout the whole process she wore gloves and used a tissue to touch things when needed. I was very impressed by the hygiene protocols, and by Amber's calm and kind demeanor. If you're looking to get (or remove) a piercing, I would highly recommend Amber W but do expect a bit of a wait.

Today was my sister's 18th birthday. She decided to get a side labret and an eyebrow piercing…read more Tiffany said she was going to do the lip piercing first, so my sister sat back and Tiffany sanitized everything. She went ahead and pierced her lip, then tried to put the jewelry in, but it didn't go in. The barbell was stuck halfway in her lip. My sister took the needle like a champ, but then Tiffany started trying to push the barbell through with her fingers. It still wouldn't go through, so she decided to take the barbell out and try pushing it through from the inside of her lip. My sister started to sweat and was visibly very uncomfortable. After Tiffany still couldn't get it in, my sister had blood all over her mouth and it was dripping down her chin. Tiffany decided to grab a taper and try to shove that through. I have 20 piercings, and watching this happen made me start to feel dizzy. My sister started to look pale and her hands started to shake. I was the one to ask if she was okay. She said she was dizzy, so I said we should lay her back. Tiffany ignored me multiple times when I said she needed to be laid back, and she was still trying to push the taper through. Finally, she decided she should stop "messing with it." Then my sister started to sweat even more and say how hot she felt. Her eyes started to roll back and she passed out. She was out for about 10 seconds while I had to hold her head and Tiffany held her shoulders so she wouldn't fall out of the chair. All of that could've been avoided if she had been laid back like I had said multiple times. After she woke back up, Tiffany decided she would just re-pierce in the same spot. I said maybe we should do the other side of her lip instead. Instead of asking my sister if that's what she wanted to do, Tiffany just said "no." Nothing about this felt professional. It was honestly traumatic for me and my sister. Then Tiffany basically insisted it could be because of her hormones or because she "ate too much," not because she had been repeatedly stabbed by a barbell and a taper. She was nice for the most part, but this was so unbelievably unprofessional. I have been coming to No Regrets for years and had never experienced anything like this. It's not like my sister doesn't have many piercings--she can handle needles. She has both sides of her nose done and a stretched septum, along with a bunch of ear piercings. Not once has she ever passed out from being pierced. She still paid in full even after all of that. My sister and I will not be returning. Tiffany needs better training or needs to be fired! This was so unbelievably disappointing to witness.

The shop is adorable, very clean and sanitary, with a beautiful selection of jewelry to peruse.

My daughter finally decided she wanted her ears pierced but the shop recommended by all my friends…read moredoesn't pierce anyone under 14. They recommended IJALP so I booked an appointment. Booking was easy and appointment times were plentiful so it was easy to get an appointment that worked for us and the fact we were traveling from Springfield. Instructions about needed documents, because this was a minor, were also clear and mentioned multiple times on the website and during booking. No whining if you don't have the right papers, you've got no excuse that you didn't see the requirements. The place is appointment only so you text when you arrive and Autumn lets you know to come in. The place may not look like much from the outside but the inside is bright and nicely decorated. A small display of jewelry is up front. My daughter was able to choose between hoops and studs. I was able to observe everything being disinfected and sanitized so knew there would be no problem with infection. Autumn was great, keeping up some light banter to put my daughter at ease. She let her know everything she was doing and when she was doing it. After we were done, my daughter got to pick from a nicely stocked prize box and Autumn gave me some aftercare instructions and daily saline wash. We had a quick followed up visit 6 weeks to check that there was no infection and that my daughter was taking care of her ears as instructed. The earrings were to stay in another 12 weeks. 10 weeks later we had to make a return visit when my daughter lost one of the earrings and the back of her ear started closing up in the day before we realized it was gone. Autumn was quick to rectify the situation ( I did pay for a new earring, which I expected) and we were in and out in 10 minutes. It did cost a fair bit more than piercing with a Wal-mart jewelry counter gun but the earrings are of far superior quality and, more importantly, I knew every needle and piece of equipment that touched my child's ears was sanitized and 99.9% unlikely to cause infection.

Tldr: the shop pawned me off on their apprentice for a large and complex piece. The apprentice,…read moreSeth Jarvis, never set an appointment with me, and stopped working on the design the second he got a deposit out of me. Don't go here. I came in with plans to get a large lettering piece that had a lot of meaning to me. There were no portfolios available for me to look at, just a tv with a screensaver cycling between AI slop and some truly shaky looking work. I mean there was a picture of Mario on there that looked like my 4 year old nephew drew it. After explaining what I was looking for, I was immediately referred to an apprentice at the shop, Seth Jarvis. Nobody told me he was an apprentice at the time, not him or his mentors: it was just listed on his Insta. His work looked sick and was in the style I was interested in though, and he had a few people talking him up in the comments so I decided to give him a shot. He quoted me $1300, which I thought was high, but if it was quality work I would have been happy to pay that. He said he'd get back to me with the design in a week and two weeks later he finally did. I'm wasn't in a rush so whatever. It looked sick, but only the left half was done. I say hell yea, can't wait to see the rest. Fastforward another week or two and he sends me the full thing. He says it's still a work in progress, but I can see a few points in the new design that really take away from what I wanted out of the piece. I communicate that with him and immediately start getting push back. He pulled out every narcissist line in the book. At first he just brushed away and disregarded my concerns and then he tried to browbeat and gaslight me about the style not allowing the changes I wanted on the right half of the tattoo, even though they were present and looked just fine on the left. I went in to the shop to try and reason with him, and he said he'd need a deposit to keep working on it. I wanted to give him a morale boost because I felt the design I wanted was a little complex, so I gave him double the amount that he asked for. He sends me a picture of the design the next day stripped of all flavor, with half the issues I had noticed in the first draft still there. I pointed out the issues that were still present and even offered an idea for how to fix them. His response to that was that I could take this new design or take the old one, but he refused to make any more changes. After giving him double his requested deposit without even the promise of a date to do the tattoo, he refused to work with me the very next day. If that's not a scam, I don't know what is.

Here is my finished work. Wade is the man. Took me a long time to post this but you can see both…read morebefore and after. Love ''em both.
