Literally I hardly ever write reviews but I just called in to get a couple quotes to get new key fobs for a company I work for. This is the first time I've ever done this as I've never called a locksmith before for anything. I told her we needed key fobs for a few different company vehicles. She kept interrupting and asking what I needed specifically and kept repeating "so you already have the key for the vehicle?" I said yes, we just have a lot of people that drive the same car so we need copies made and I'm just trying to see what it costs. She asked what I needed. Thinking I was saying it wrong I said a key fob, and she asked if I needed a remote, and I said I'm not sure, just the key with the unlock buttons and buttons, in which I repeatedly asked is that considered a key fob? She didn't answer my question and just proceeded to rattle off the names of all the different kinds until she settled on remote. She asked me a bunch of other details and the address for the place where the vehicles were. I didn't have the year for two of the vehicles so she suggested that I look that information up in the time it takes her to call the locksmith. The phone had a hum noise in the background and was very broken up so I did not hear her say "the locksmith will call with pricing" so because she asked for my address I asked just to double check that he was going to call first before driving out to the car location. She interrupted with "I already have explained that to you." Then she started talking slower and explained that this was what she had said the first time. At this point I was getting extremely frustrated because I had already been interrupted enough and didn't appreciate being talked down to like I was stupid just because I missed 6 words and didn't know the year of the vehicle. I told her the call was very muffled and sorry I didn't hear her the first time but as she kept interrupting me I decided it was best if I just said, thanks have a good one, and called someone else. read more

This is the best locksmith I have ever dealt with (and I have locked myself out of places MANY times)! Not only are they professional and efficient and true to their price quotes over the phone (Mine was only $79 for unlocking a very difficult front door), they are also really nice and willing to help however they can. My locksmith was Mats J. and he went above and beyond to save my lock after having to drill part of it off just to get in. It took longer than we both expected, but the level of service was amazing. He replaced parts that were damaged (drilled area) with his own stash of supplies. He even ended up helping me get a car door unlocked after the dealership said that it would cost no less than $500-$1000 to fix it because they would have to cut into the door to get to it. I locked my keys in my trunk, and I called Pop-a-Lock for a quote. The girl I spoke with was unclear about the pricing, and I thought it was going to be $150. I told her I would call her back. As soon as I hung up, the manager called me back, explained the pricing in detail and told me he would have someone over shortly. I appreciate how friendly he was and the fact that he called me back to make sure he earned my business. I don't know many companies who do that these days. Billy, the locksmith, arrived exactly 6 minutes after I spoke with the manager. He was polite and super fast. He was done in less than 2 minutes, causing no harm to my car whatsoever. When I found myself in the worst kind of emergency, Pop-a-Lock was the only locksmith (and I called 6) that stepped up. My child locked herself in my car, had the key inside with her, and in the summer heat. When I called they did an emergency dispatch and quoted me 20 minutes. (Every other place I called told me 1 hour or more, 2 told me that they had no appointments that day). AND Pop-a-Lock was going to come out completely free of charge because it was an emergency! I wound up cancelling the dispatch and calling the fire department instead because of the heat, but I appreciate knowing I have a solid locksmith to call now if I ever need it again. read more

Pop-A-Lock came July 21, 2016 to unlock me out of my car. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT! The guy was quick and friendly. He met me at my job and he was very professional. When I left work that night I was riding home and I heard a sound. I pulled over and closed all my car doors. Still heard the sound so I waited the next morning to see what was going on. The next morning when I looked at my door the outside weather stripping was pulled up from the door where he wedge his tool in to unlock the door. On July 22, 2016 I called Pop-A-Lock to explain what happened to my car. The rep got all of my info and explain she was going to get a damage claim in and a supervisor will be calling me. On July 30, 2016 I got a call from a Jeff asking me about my car. I explain to him where the damage was. Jeff explain to me he will come out to my job and fix my car. Jeff called back and stated he could not make it that day. He ask me more about the damage and I text him the pic showing the damage. Jeff then stated he will call down to Honda and order the part that he needs to fix my car. Jeff stated "I'm glad you sent me the pic! Now I know what exactly I need to get your car fix! I will call you on Monday when I am on the way!" Monday August 1, 2016 I did not hear from Jeff. I called back down to Pop-A-Lock and ask to speak to the Jeff. The rep stated he will give Jeff a call and have him call me. I waited all day and did not receive a call. On August 3, 2016 around 12:05 pm I called Jeff from the number that I text. He explain to me he took an EARLY VACATION. He apologize and stated he has all my info in the office and he will send someone out ASAP. I gave Jeff a week for his vacation. I text him and asked about my car in the message he states "Yeah man, I'm terribly sorry. I'm not trying to make excuses but we're just shorthanded right now.
