Shore Nutrition Associates in Asbury Park has two dietitians, but I've only worked with James Montgomery. It's been about a year and a half since I've been going, and I have to say I have come a long way under his guidance. Not only have I lost quite a few pounds, but he's shown me how to do it in an evidence-based way. No shakes, no prepared foods in a box that I pick up, no fad diets, no low carb, and no low fat. He has taught me how to eat correctly and to do it in a measured way in the real world. He is truly dedicated to his philosophies. He abhors people who push fad diets simply to make a buck. He spends as much time with me as I need in order to get it right. I really feel as if I can rely on his guidance.
