I've driven past this popcorn shop for years, and I finally dropped in to prep for a road trip. Snacks are a must and popcorn is one of my favorite snacky snacks. The menu is vast and ranges from sweet to savory. They'll let you try before you buy, and I was instantly sold on a mix of "chile con queso" and Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Perfect mix y'all. I purchased a medium, and it was ~$24 after tax and tip. And this bag felt never-ending. It lasted about a week - through the road trip and back. This shop is locally owned. They also sell reusable decorative tins, perfect for gifting, and gelato. They also do catering, like "popcorn bars" for events. Cute. read more

I POPped in after a visit to the gym, so I feel this indulgence was justified. The staff is super sweet, and welcomes a customer's exploration of the varied popcorn offerings. A taste revealed many goodies. I finally decided on The Baby Hump and my personal mix of Buffalo Wild Wings, garlic Parmesan and Jalapeño ranch. I'm enjoying my goods now. I LOVE this place. If you like sweet popcorn this is the place for you, as they have an incredible array of flavors to enjoy. My favorite are the savory flavors, and the mix that includes the salted caramel popcorn and the cheesy popcorn. Sometimes I send my husband to get me some regular movie theatre popcorn because it is just so damn good! If you plan to ever return, get a tin because the refill prices are very good. They have many size options so you can try multiple flavors in one trip and you do not feel like you getting ripped off. You can call and order in advance so that you do not have to wait. if you do have a short wait, that just means your popcorn is extra fresh! I love to come here to get special occasion popcorn, usually a pastel color for Easter or a Red and Green mix for Christmas. The options are endless! read more

We were surprised to see this place, as it used to be a pizza shop. We walked in to see what it was all about, as you hardly ever see a stand-alone popcorn store. Yet here one was. There are many different flavors of popcorn, and you can try pretty much all of them. They have everything from blueberry flavored popcorn to chili limon popcorn. Yes, we bought some because who doesn't need a bag of garlic parmesan popcorn, right? I really have to be honest though, I don't see it getting enough business or foot traffic to be there long. I think they have other locations, and I'm sure the profit is high in popcorn, but you still have to sell some to make that profit. I don't see enough traffic into this place for them to have a very good chance. I hope I'm wrong, I hate to see any business fail, but I don't see a whole lot of call or need for popcorn. This place is great! I like the people who works here, friendly and are not shy to recommend flavors when being asked. They give honest opinion and tells me with true excitement about it being good. Here are my favorites: chi town- it's one of those flavors that you can eat for days and not get tired of it. I like because it has both savory and sweet. The combo just works bowls after bowls . Flavor wise, cheddar caramel got the chi town beaten, but I can only eat 1 bowl at a sitting. It's flavorful and can get overwhelming when eating a lot. Give me an hour after the first bowl and I can eat another! As for savory I haven't tried a lot yet, but dill pickle. Yes sir or ma'am, you heard it right, dill pickle. It's a flavor that was recommended and I didn't believe it was good. Well, every time my family orders some popcorn from here, dill pickle is on the list. Just a fun flavor to eat. It's one of those flavor you eat and want to try again because you mind can't fully wrap around it and want to try more. I believe I've tried nearly every flavor they offer. My faves continue to be Dill Pickle and Buffalo Ranch. Southwest Jalapeno and Spicy Queso are also very good. I do tilt on the Savory (salty) side, so that should be understood. I've recently been turned on to one of their Specialty flavors, though: Black Tie. Think of it as a fresh version of Cracker Jack's on steroids (without all of the peanuts): caramel-coated popcorn drizzled with milk and white chocolate. To die for! Warning, though: it is expensive and if you eat too much (as I have done), you will get a massive belly ache. Years ago I bought the 2-gallon tin (I actually have two of them); it's a better buy in the long run if you go back for refills. Tins can be filled with one or multiple flavors (separated). I'm deducting a star this time around, because for the first time in all the times I've been coming here over the years, I was unable to get credit for my purchase on my SpotOn rewards. The employee working could not get their tablet reader to turn on correctly; I was told that the next time I come in that I should tell the owner what happened and he'll credit me and bump up my rewards. He wasn't here today, so what's to insure he'll be there next time I come in? There's no getting around that some of this popcorn is not cheap (which is why I participate in the rewards program), so I was a bit perturbed when I left (although a handful of Black Tie did make me feel better).

I've seen Just Poppin popcorn in stores, but didnt think they were local. Nice to know when a product is locally created! However, I almost lost out on my good fortune because I waited a day before it was going to expire to use it. Took me a little time to find the place (see tips), but its so cozy inside--and the fresh popcorn makes up for it! A young man greeted me with a smile as I entered the establishment and asked how he could help me. Great to see young people working and knowing how to present customer service--with a smile! Since I had a Groupon, he had to get an adult from the back, but there was no issue with the redemption. I ordered the chocolate drizzle and did wait to have it made fresh, but when do you ever get fresh made popcorn??? With chocolate??? Yeah, so the wait is worth it. Small businesses need our support to thrive, so I'll enjoy my package of popcorn knowing that my purchase contributes to someone else keeping their dream alive. I can tell that the owners are putting a lot of attention and care in their establishment. The staff looks like a determined team aimed to succeed. Well done! If I had to be picky, minor improvements can be for the tables to be periodically wiped down and cleaned. There were a few wet spots and a finished tray of food, but perhaps the staff was just a bit busy at that point. Overall, doesn't stop me from wiping my own table before sitting and enjoying my drink with the wifey!

It was late in the day but the laidback decorated space was packed, music not too loud with a pleasant vibe. I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.

Absolutely the best Popcorn Place we've had my son got a can for his birthday we stay in Magnolia Texas we drove all the way from Magnolia Texas down to Cypress about a 50 minute drive just for a refill the person that helped us Mario gave great customer service as soon as he found out where we were from he gave my children some free samples to bring home we refilled the can with caramel drizzle and we'll be back as soon as it's gone I highly recommend this place to everybody read more

Such awesome place, The customer service is 5 star. They make you feel excited about trying so many different flavors "like a kid at a candy store" feeling. I walked out with cheddar caramel, if you happen to stop by ask for a sample it will not disappoint. I also got a jr bag of the salt and vinegar. They also do snack catering (popcorn bars) for any occasion, me and the fiancé will be booking for our wedding. We are so happy we found this place. read more

What an incredible place! the popcorn was outstanding. I went with my 2 kids and the customer service was great, my kids signed the cool wall that they have and we ate the best popcorn we ever had. My kids really liked the cheddar and the salt & vinegar. The Carmel popcorn and the Buffalo wing popcorn were my 2 favorites so far. They have quite a few flavors I'm looking forward to trying. The experience was less than a 3 star, so I'm stressing that the product was good, but the service needs improvement. We were the only ones there while ordering (so no rush or line), and the guy working heard us having the conversations about the flavors and which to get. I even debated at the register whether my kiddo wanted the Elsa or the Cinderella because she really wanted the edible glitter. My teenager even said that she wanted the Texas Flag, so she could have a Texas Flag on her snowcone. However, I ordered all minis and smalls not knowing that the flavor combos I was specifically ordering (and all the toppings we were excited for) only came on Mediums in the color changing cup. While talking about toppings, he asked if I wanted to add gummy worms to the Monster Mash and even asked me if I understood that the fruit would be on top of my Polynesian Pineapple- to which I also said yes and asked to go light on the syrup on mine because I added ice cream to the bottom. At no time did he mention that every flavor combo I had just ordered was only "done extra" if it was a medium in the special cup. During the small talk while ordering, I even mentioned that we had come all the way here (from Fulshear) because I heard great things. When he started handing out the snowcones, I asked about the toppings (which were missing). His reply was that they were only on the mediums in the special cup. He said he tried to explain it to me, but when I disagreed, he told me (with an attitude) that that's "how he recalled it". He didn't offer to redo even a single 1 of the 5 snowcones I had just ordered, or offer any solution. He didn't even offer to add toppings, for which I would have been OK to pay extra...but at that point he had a huge attitude, so I accepted it, and walked away...not trying to be "that" person. As I was there trying my (syrup drenched) snowcone, I decided that I didn't just drive 30 minutes for a plain, not "Insta or Yelp worthy" snowcone. We came to try something unique. So, since it was double punch day, and I had filled a card with my one order, I decided to use it punchcard to get the snowcone I wanted. When I went to the counter to order, I was told that I had to pay extra because the card was not for the combo ones. I agreed reluctantly, because I felt it should have been a moot point after voicing that I just got 5 snowcones I didn't want. When I stuck my payment card in, he turned around and started prepping the snowcone. When he came back, I asked if it he was going to run the payment and he said (with a huge attitude in front of other customers now) "it's not even worth it". The customer next to me raised her eyebrows at how he talked to me. Again, I want to say that the flavors were good. And when I understood how to order the famous ones I'd heard so much about, I got what I had hoped for. Enough so that I'm willing to give them another shot in the near future. There are plenty of reviews to show the good product, and there are other unhappy reviews about the teens they hire to staff the stand. I'm hoping this was just an off day for the guy working. I'll be back, to hopefully be able to write a 5 star review.
