I went out of town last week . Pulled up Popeyes app to place an order. I changed location yet it must have been a glitched because it didn't change my location which I didn't noticed until after I placed my order. I quickly called Popeyes in Texas about the mistake I just made and that I'm currently in Ohio wanting to place and pickup my order. They told me to contact customer service for a refund. I contacted customer service and they basically told me they won't give me my money back on this order. I'm a single mom with 3 kids and I don't have money to throw away like that. I asked them would they just let me go to the Texas restaurant and get my food that they will not refund me my money now that I'm back in Texas and they said no. I guess times are hard for Popeyes and they willing to keep customers money no matter what the reason is. read more

They gave us root beer and we asked for Dr Pepper and when we asked them to change it they said they don't even have root beer there. If I could put a zero I would've. Bad judgment on my part when the sign on the drive-in menu was saying no tenders, certain drinks, only bone in chicken. Once you order 2pc with 2 mash taters and red bean and rice total $17 and some change and told they didn't have lids for the sides. Drove through the drive through to order 4 dark pieces. The speaker was so poor couldn't understand a word. Drove around and went inside. They had one piece of dark meat available. Waited 10 minutes in the restaurant area which was not air conditioned. When I got home had two white and two dark pieces. This type of service is the norm. I'll never go back. read more

This entire staff need to be fired .... I just walked in and the cashier was sitting in the lobby on FaceTime .... She walks to the back to take my order cussing ... I asked her if she was ok she said " Yea I'm just on the phone". Went here the other day, I was beyond upset! I moved to this area and have been craving Popeyes. We order a few things and the lady in the drive thru gave us our drink and told us to wait and pull up ahead to the trash can. We did and waited 20 mins. Finally my bf reversed back into the drive way (there had been no line for all the time waiting) he said we are still waiting on our food the lady gave us a nasty look and asked politely if we could get a refund. It was not busy at all and no one had been in the drive thru. The manager came and refunded us and did not apologize or even try to keep us happy. She didn't even attempt to try to get the food or anything. Very upsetting. We ended up going to panda next door and food was hot and ready! Friendly service too. Don't recommend. read more

Not even sure if being understaffed is an issue, but it seems that way. Takes so long to order and to receive food. 9.9 times out of 10, the order will be wrong. Today I went through the drive through & they completely forgot to put my Chicken sandwich in the bag. I drive 18 minutes to found out I don't have my main course... I am so done with paying for food and the quality sucks. We just ordered a 10-piece box of spicy chicken. The total was $19.79 for chicken and a small coleslaw. I ordered online through the app and my husband drove to pick it up. The box of chicken we were served is a disgrace. Some pieces were so old that the skin had lifted up and showed the old chicken. I tried calling the restaurant to complain and their phone seems to be broken. I was able to get a $20.00 credit through the app. I am grateful for that but I would have much rather had the fresh hot chicken they advertise on tv all day long. Never got any info on their investigation "at the store level." I wanted to ask what was determined. The email said "To add additional comments, reply to this email." But when I tried to reply, it would not show any email address! Their email was using Zendesk.
