I noticed that it was nearly dinner time and Popeyes had a location near my friend's home in Humble. Light bulb move. I decided to pick up a mobile order here after hanging out in Katy on a Sunday in December 2025. I decided to pick up dinner on the way back to Humble when visions of fried chicken and sides where in my mind. On the way there, I decided to mobile order it in when we were on the I-45. Once we got there, they asked for my confirmation number and I was told it was still being prepared. After 5 minutes of additional waiting in the restaurant, I finally received my order. There was nobody in line at the restaurant or nobody waiting for an order, which was nice. Ordering online versus staying in line was definitely a huge time saver for sure. This Humble Popeyes location is a great place since it is nearby to my friend's home and I guess Texans loved their fried chicken. For the most part though, the experience was typically fast food, and it was definitely fast and quick. The service was friendly and professional. You get what you pay for and the quicker you get out the better. I managed to get a 5 pc meal with 2 sides and a drink for $13, which isn't a bad deal from the online Popeyes app. The overall experience here at this Popeyes location in Humble fairly straightforward and definitely nice to have, especially when you are close to the Humble location and craving fried chicken. As for me, I just wanted to grab dinner. The restaurant itself had plenty of available tables that were clean but not used. Unfortunately for me, It was a takeout order. The ambience in the restaurant was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday afternoon. I don't know if they had free wifi, but I wasn't here for that long anyway. They had public restrooms, but I suspect that you could use them if you are a customer at Popeyes. The prices here are pretty high if you enjoy Popeyes, but could be offset if you purchased Family meals in bulk. I did not do that this time in Texas, but could do this later on. The Popeyes experience is good because you can definitely smell the fried chicken cooking as soon as you enter the restaurant. Thats one of my favorite things when I come to Popeyes. It's definitely recommended if you love that southern crispy awesomeness. This Popeyes location is located in Humble, Texas at 11527 E Sam Houston Pkwy North. It's a nice quiet place to be, which is a good thing actually that drive sales every day. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. You can also order online and do the mobile app and pick up at the restaurant, which is what I did. As far as parking goes, the restaurant itself has a good amount of parking for you or anybody who wishes to come here and dine like a king or queen. If you're like me, I don't think that Humble has regional public transportation options for you that's outside of metro Houston. So best bet would be to rent a car or have friends in the area who's going to take you around town. There's always an Uber or Lyft if you can afford it. Popeyes has affordable meals for anybody and everybody. I do enjoy their sides more than their chicken. My favorite would have to be their red beans and rice or the Cajun rice. So so good. If you have a favorite, you might as well come down and grab it while still hot and fresh. 5.0 stars for the overall experience, especially when I was hungry and Popeyes was right there while I was walking by with my friends. Report filed to the County Heath Services and the Popeye's Corporate office. You may ask.... well why? - Unsanitary Conditions - Facility Cleanliness - Poor Service - Food Quality The interior of the place is sickening. In the lobby ceiling tiles are either dirty, water stained from roof leaks or both. Worst is that many of the water stained tiles are evident with MOLD where people sit to eat. Dirty are the walls, doors, tables and chairs and dried food under tables and in corners. The air return and vents have filth buildup. And employees prepare food and customer's eat here? Be aware this location needs a major overhaul before it continues to sell food to the public. read more

I am leaving this review in hopes that a district manager or corporate representative sees it, because this situation was handled very poorly from a customer service standpoint. I visited this Popeyes location 4/13/26 and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich through the drive thru, but was given a classic sandwich instead. I understand mistakes happen, so I called about 30 minutes later in attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I accidentally contacted the wrong location first, and that manager advised me to come back for a replacement sandwich. When I later realized I had called the wrong store and spoke with the manager at the actual purchase location today, 4/14/26, the interaction immediately became rude and dismissive. I explained the approximate time of my visit, that I paid cash, how much I handed the cashier, and what I ordered. Instead of attempting to assist or verify the transaction through the register system or cameras, the manager repeatedly stated she "didn't have time" and told me to purchase another sandwich. What concerns me most is not the incorrect order itself, but the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and willingness to help resolve a very simple issue. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff over a reasonable request, and the interaction became extremely dismissive and embarrassing in front of employees and customers. I also asked for contact information for the general manager or district manager, and multiple employees stated they "didn't know" how to reach them, which is concerning in itself. This review is not about wanting a free sandwich. It is about how customers are treated when there is an issue. I hope upper management reviews the customer service standards and leadership at this location, because this experience was disappointing and unacceptable. I was completely humiliated. read more

I found a fly in my water, I called the next morning spoke to a female manager and everything was fine we had an agreement that I would get new drink later on. The meal was fine it was just my drink. I get to the window and there was a male manager, I didn't get his name, on duty. He has an unnecessary attitude and didn't want to give me the drink but he did though. This location is absolutely terrible. Covid shut down the dining area so they were only operating the drive thru. You would think that this would make service more expeditious. The woman taking orders was incredibly rude and lacked any trace of professionalism. I could barely hear her and she was rushing my order. She took down my order wrong. I went in on many different days. Sometimes they're busy and others not at all. Either way the chicken will be old. If you request them to fry you fresh chicken they will simply refry the old chicken that has been sitting out since the day before. This location has terrible service. The order taker was talking as I was driving up and I couldn't hear what they said. When I began to talk she cut me off and asked for a moment. She didn't even take much time but when I asked for a moment to gather my order together (since it was large) the girl was rude. So... I ordered an 8 piece with fries. I got an 8 piece with mash. No worries. I get it. It's New Year's Eve. It's busy. I'm not mad, I just want my fries. I was halfway home when I realized it and turned around to go back. I get to the speaker box and tell the cashier about the mixup and they ask me to pull around at the window. The chick at the windows leans down on her elbow and stares at me like "Yes???" I again explain that I got a large mash instead of a large fry. This is where things go south for me.
