Came here for dinner on a Friday. Went through drive thru and it was taking staff about 5 minutes between cars to take order, so I imagine they are short staffed. Ordered a 4 piece combo meal and they were able to accommodate a request for 2 thighs, leg and breast. He even said he would ring it up so it would come out cheaper. But then when we picked up the meal, it was just the chicken and a biscuit. That was only $9.30 though, so not bad. We got the spicy chicken and it tasted pretty good. The worst popeyes ive been to.. we only ordered a 12 pc wings and some cheesecake pies but the drive through cashier said we dont have any pies they would take 7 minutes so we decided to just get the chicken, there was no customers at all besides 1 & they had us waiting 25 minutes outside for a 12 piece. She was lazy & just didnt want to make the pies we had to wait forever either way. She told us to pull into the parking lot & there was 3 enployeees theres no excuse for the long wait time, & the worst part is when she finally had our order she walked to the door leaned on it & spent a few minutes chatting it up with the 2 employees who were cleaning. The wings were 18$. Terrible service, terrible employees, terrible prices. Never again. Temperatures of food is not being taken. Food is being served passed it's expiration time. Food is being served from dirty pans / containers. Employers are not properly cleaning the pans/containers. Soda machines are not being cleaned. Cooler where ice is being stored & served to customers has trash in it. Roach & fly infestation. They usually give me wrong orders but the food is good so I try and do small orders so it's easier for them. But today the food was not good :( I went around 1pm and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken in the sandwich was dry and tough to bite it's like it was sitting there for a while or they prob microwaved it from last night? I don't know. Usually the chicken is moist and easy to bite. Pretty irritated with this place. I've never walked in, only ever been through the drive thru a handful of times. I was really craving one of their "better than chick-Fil-a" sandwiches and since it was around 3 in the afternoon what better time to try. I scoped out the drive thru and didn't see anyone in line so I made my approach. Pulling up to the ordering device I noticed one car already waiting at the window. I'm immediately asked to wait a min which is fine since I just pulled up. The infamous sandwich is advertised in at last two different places with pictures and all. When someone finally asked for my order I ask for none other than the infamous sandwich to which I'm told they're out. Okay so if you've known about this before hand why not tape a note somewhere informing the public of your outage. I wasn't about to riot, but I was upset and now stuck in a drive thru with no way of getting out due to a car in front and now behind me. I placed an order of chicken strip meal and pulled forward and waited. And waited. And waited. Approx 5-minutes later the car in front of me leaves. I'm handed my strip meal in a min or two and I'm on my way, annoyed. Can't say I blame them for running out but don't leave me there with the idea I'm going to be able to order it when I can't and have to make a quick decision on something else. FaiL Popeyes. I'm disappointed in today experience. I absolutely love Popeyes and always get it when I eat out . This location is a hit or miss on customer service and food . Today I was looking forward to getting what I wanted . But they were out of two things I came for . The ghost pepper wings and the new strawberry lemonade. So disappointing. So instead I for a 4pc meal chicken SPICY with coleslaw and Dr Pepper. I also asked for the new cheese and bacon sandwich by itself and then a small side of Mac and cheese . My order was not what I PAID for . I got Cajun fries with my meal NO COLESLAW. Chicken was NOT fresh . I didn't mind the fries I actually love them, but not what's I asked for . The chicken sandwich was fresh but made very messy and missing the bacon. I will always come back to Popeyes. But I think this location needs to do better . It is the only one within 25 mins away. My over all experience was poor and not what I came for . Please do better . The drive through guy was shy and didn't say much. I had to ask for napkins and he just didn't seem comfortable or happy to be there. Customer service has always lacked at this location . I don't usually do this because I know what it like working for fast food . I'm a pretty easy going person and understand mistakes are made but it seems too often here at the lemoore location. Nasty... I have ate at other Popeyes, but this one is just nasty. Ordered a few chicken sandwiches. The chicken was dry, yet moist with grease. Nobody finished their sandwich. Fries were also saturated in grease. My mouth was coated in a layer of grease after one bite. After opening the sandwich to look at its contents, I saw the darkest chicken ever. It was likely that dark because of the amount of frying oil saturated into the breading Never again will I buy from this location. I get why this Popeyes has horrible reviews. Visiting family in Lemoore and decided to pick up dinner. Went to drive through, ordered 14 piece meal $24.99 with coupon. Added 8 piece of Tuesday special leg and thigh for $2.49. Total was higher than expected, verified 8 piece of special, not 8 orders. Order was verified, and said $52 total was correct. Fine. Got the receipt and charged for 8 order (16 piece additional). Fine. Went home, opened up box, full of wings and not thigh/ leg add on... FINE Counted pieces, was suppose to be 14 from family meal and 16 for 8 order of special = 30 pieces total Only received 24 pieces.... LOL WHYYY. Yummy chicken. Yummy sides. This Popeye's is new, and everything is cooked right. Very friendly service. THANKS POPEYES for a yummy meal in Lemoore. Just edited to add a note, I worked many years ago at a Popeye's. I went though the training about how the food should and should not look. The menu had changed a lot since then, newer updated items, etc... however the basics as still set. This locations is one of the best Popeye's around. I know the food can vary from location to location, and one bad location can ruin it for others. This Popeye's will do the opposite, it can be redemption for other bad locations.
