This location *consistently* lacks in diligence when it comes to completing orders correctly and completely. Once again, I get home and there is no biscuit in my box. Not only that, but they seem to often forget to add a spork/spoon to the bag, which doesn't make sense, since 9/10 orders are going to have a side which requires a utensil....seems like that would be an automatic addition. The overall point is, no one should have to hold up the drive thru line just to make sure the workers have 1) read the order correctly 2) put all components of the meal in the box, and 3) put the necessary utensils in the bag....basically, make sure people have done their job. Placed a pickup order 20 minutes before arriving at the location. We ordered two sandwiches, a drink, and a 6 piece boneless wing. When we arrived, we waited 8 minutes for someone to come to the register. After letting them know we had a pick up order, she pulled the ticket and THEN started making it. Since the order was not worked on before we arrived, they did not have everything to complete the order so we had to wait another 10-12 minutes. By the time we received the order the sandwich buns were soggy from sitting. The wings hardly had any seasoning (thankfully I had some at home). The side Mac and cheese portion is laughable. Busy Saturday night at 7pm, and I didn't mind waiting. As a Deaf person, I always ask to see the receipt before paying to avoid wrong orders. I showed the cashier my typed note, told him I'm Deaf, and he still left me waiting 20 minutes. The manager, Jasmin, watched and did nothing. They had the person in front of me pull up and then I had to pull up and there's a line around the building. I pulled up to see what was going on inside the restaurant, and that much. I came in to pick up a doordash and there were about 6 other people that had been waiting on food for quite a while. Some for over 30 minutes on something as small as just 3 tenders. Not only that but as I was waiting in line just to get someone's attention to let them know I had a doordash order to pick up, multiple employees INCLUDING THE MANAGER walked by and even looked at the computer and never even acknowledged the person in front of me or myself. I wouldn't be nearly as frustrated with the situation if anyone got something as simple as a "hi someone will be with you shortly" as someone who has worked in the food industry and the fast food industry for a while it's really not that hard to just greet people who are waiting. I order from this location about once per month. Usually have few problems other than a long wait time. I did online order for large cole slaw and fries to go with my bbq at home. Got in the restaurant and it took a while before the young lady at the counter acknowledged me. I showed her my order and was informed that the restaurant had run out of cole slaw. Ok. So I asked for mac and cheese substitute. She wanted to upcharge me for an identically sized and priced side, claiming the mac was more expensive. I had to tell her to look at the menu on the wall where it was clear that I was correct, but she was adamant. Then she proceeded to ignore me. This review applies to multiple locations. Popeye's offers online ordering for pick up. However, I tried four different locations online, and ALL said the items were not available at the locations. BTW, I ordered chicken. Yep, chicken. I thought I'd cut down on the time spent waiting in the drive thru by ordering ahead of time. So I guess it's back to the long wait line at the Popeye's. I like their food but I don't like long wait. Update: So I just got back from Popeye's. They had exactly what I tried to order online. But what I realized is that they offer a $2 savings by ordering online; so I guess they DO NOT want anyone to get that $2 savings. They also advertise this offer on television so I'm sure many have seen it. It's not as if food is not already expensive and we can't even get a small discount that they supposedly offer. I had my husband go to the store to get a family meal and a side order of the new wings and he asked before completing the order purchase if they had Cajun rice and was told he was getting the last of the Cajun rice and they turned around and gave my whole order away to another guest and then the manager wanted to argue with him about correcting the error on there part and have an attitude. This location does not care about serving their customers in a timely manner. They need to adopt Chick-fil-A's customer service ethics. The chicken is absolutely delicious but the customer service is horrific. The drive-thru line is wrapped around the building most evenings. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes in the drive-thru line, I usually park my car and go inside the store to place my order. What is puzzling to me is once inside the store, they are adequately staffed. However, the staff members including one manager in particular work at a SNAIL PACE and seems have absolutely no awareness that the line is wrapped around the building.
