I picked up my order, after i waited about 10 min for them to fry my tenders which was not a problem, got home opened my order and the rice in my red beans looked like it was scraped off the bottom of a warmer from last week. The level of "I don't care" to serve that to a customer is UNBELIEVABLE! Every time i go to that location, I'm disappointed that I spent my money there. The lady says they are out of an item I asked for I told them a new side I would like. I get to the window and was told there was a 3 minute wait on chicken. This was my first visit to the Popeye's restaurant at the Schillinger Road location. The restaurant was very clean and bright inside and customer service at the counter was great. I had the 2 piece spicy fried chicken combo of a chicken breast and a wing and a side of cole slaw and my husband ordered the 3 piece spicy combo which consisted of a chicken breast, 2 wings and a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was fried just right and was moist and tasty. And the sides were delicious too. The 2 piece combo was the better deal as the wings were very small. The combo comes with a biscuit and 1 side of your choice. There were a few people inside, however, more people were in the drive through line. read more

The final straw was last Friday while waiting patiently in the drive through line I was told it was cash only by someone who laughed while telling this to me. I have been duked for the last time at the Popeyes on Moffat Road near me. This is probably the worst Popeyes of any in Mobile. I waited outside for 30 or more minutes because I requested some hot fresh fried chicken. When I got home with my 8 piece over $30 meal. The chicken was not fresh fried (I only live 5 minutes away), it was very, very dark and the crispy parts were very hard and unappetizing! Nobody in my home would even eat it. Went through drive thru and the girl asked if we wanted our meal mixed (dark and white meat) and we said yes. She proceeded to ask if we wanted mild or spicy and we told her mix that as well. The drive through worker hardly lets you finish your order before shutting you up with the total. Food was cold to the touch and they left our mashed potatoes (that we paid extra for) out of the bag. It was a day out with my elderly father and we decided on eating at this Popeye's. My father placed his order with the cashier asking every question to fill his order. I thought to make it easy on Janice D. (cashier) and gave her my very detailed order, not forgetting any part of my order. She ignored every word and proceeded to ask every detail for me to repeat over again. I speak very plain and clear and loud English. I am easy to understand. Before filling the order, we sat and were waiting, and I could here Janice D. speaking to another employee of her hatred for people like me. When our orders were filled and brought out to us, I made sure to check my chicken. As usual, they got the order wrong. I asked for the 4 piece spicy dark meat, but was given half dark half white, which one piece was tiny wing. I thought to take it directly back to the cashier to fix, but Janice D. was in the dining area mulling about instead of taking care of the front counter. Peter, an off duty employee stated loudly that a customer was needing assistance, but Janice D. ignored him. He got up from his seat and proceeded to get someone else to help. Janice D. glared at me as she sauntered about the dining area. I am telling all my family and friends and their extended families and friends to avoid this location.
