I came in went to the counter to try and order my food, she said "go to the kiosk" I showed her the coupon and said "I don't use those and I won't know where to put it in" the lady had facial piercings and no name tag began to have a real attitude and told me "can't you see I am busy here" I was stunned that she had soo much attitude and reminded her that I am a customer and you speaking to me in that manner. Went tonight Sunday 10/13/24 at 10:15 when they close at 11:00. After waiting 15 mins at the drive thru menu to order a female finally comes on and ask what we would like. I ask for the chicken sandwich and she says no they didn't have any cooked and didn't want to make any more because they were trying to close. Okay, fine. Popeyes, right across the street from the hotel, is open till 5. I LOVE Popeyes spicy chicken. Put in an order on the app, and went across the street. They have no clue about my order. I have been here three times this year. The food isn't bad and the prices are cheap. The problem is the last time I went there, the 2 five gallon tanks of Sweet Tea and Unsweetened Tea Didn't have any lids on them and they were wide open on the serving counter with all the customers standing and breathing and possibly coughing and sneezing in to the five gallons each of tea. First of all, I love Popeyes. It's by far my favorite fast food chicken joint. So my problem is not with Popeyes food, it's specifically this location. Slow slow and slower is the theme here. I've tried a few times and it's always the same. Ridiculously poor and slow service. I'm a reasonable person, so I can totally understand if the place is slammed with customers and they were short staffed, but there is no one there! Zero. Nada. Zilch. I can only assume this is due to poor ownership and management who just don't care enough. They probably believe since they are the only Popeyes around, they can just skate by with terrible service. Well that's going to change soon with new stores opening nearby (Alta Mere, 377, etc.) and I have no doubt that if faced with a little competition this store will ultimately close down.
