My comments are for the quality of this popcorn product not for the Tempe store because I live in Idaho and buy the POPPED Artisan Popcorn at a specialty healthy foods shop where I was introduced to it. Available at that local store in several sweet and savory options but not the Prickly Pear Caramel option so I'm getting ready to place an order for mail delivery from the AZ Mothership. Roughly $8.50 a bag here (of course buying here means I'm not paying shipping) and I imagine about that pricec if ordering directly where I think one can order mixed packs or a 6 pack of one kind. Clean, healthy ingredients, most or maybe all are gluten free and some or maybe all are vegan. Delicious! Don't tell the people on my holiday list but I think this year for birthdays and winter holiday gifts they will be receiving POPPED popcorn variety boxes! read more

Just a bag -- or two or three or four -- of bliss! [POPPED] is mindful snacking at its best. The non-GMO, vegan, preservative-free, and gluten-free features are all humming along happily in the background, but it's the amazing Sonoran-inspired flavors that will really grab your attention. I found [POPPED] by accident during Brew at the Zoo, and the jalapeno cheddar and churro flavors became instant faves. Sensational, perfectly popped and delicious! Plus it's local! I have enjoyed different varieties of flavors and every time it's flawless. My husband and I actually look for the bags at local breweries almost every time when venture out. It's a perfect guilt free snack! Cooking the corn in rice bran oil, is a brilliant way to make it light and healthier. Their mesquite smoked mezcal caramel is magical with a rich sweet, smoky flavor. It really doesn't get better than that in my book! Popped now has a brick and mortar shop that you can visit, their online store is easy to use and they ship nationwide. You can also find Popped Artisan Popcorn at various locations across town, and when you do, it'll be the sweetest surprise ever! Their flavors are unique and definitely not subtle! Flavors vary from Lemon Poppy Seed to Mexican Hot Chocolate, Sweet Chile Lime, Churro and even del Bac whiskey infused popcorn! This household eats [Popped] religiously. I mean that. When we buy it, it's like a sacred ritual that we wait for a special moment when we (my husband and I) are sitting down together and then we try really hard to share equally between ourselves and savor the flavor we chose. We try really hard to make their large bags last, but alas, we usually gobble up the entire bag within a few minutes of frenzied, grabby eating and spend the rest of the night lamenting we wish we had more. And so it continues, this cycle. In all seriousness though, this popcorn is delicious. You'd be hard-pressed to find a seed in a bag. The kernels are fluffy and large, the flavors are always exactly right. Never too sweet or spicy or salty. Whenever we head to Tap & Bottle we always grab a bag of the Sweet Curry flavor. No snack has ever been invented that goes better with a beer, and yeah, that includes pretzels. During the holidays their peppermint flavor is my favorite, but Gingerbread is right up there in goodness. But this year they have Mole Caramel and Sonoran Caramel flavors too and they are also very good. The Mole Caramel has a spicy finish, but not spicy in any way that would off-put someone who says they don't like spicy. The lemon poppyseed, churro, and truffle are also my second place favorites... I literally can't decide which I like more. They are all just that good. (Some specs: all bags are GMO free popcorn, vegan flavors, and extremely fresh. The flavors are REAL ingredients and seasonings. They also partner with other local makers and businesses to create flavors, such as their holiday partnership with Three Wells Distilling to make the Sonoran Caramel flavor with their prickly pair liquor. The traditional flavor bags come in a larger size while their exclusive/holiday flavors come in a smaller bag size. Both bags serve a very generous amount of popcorn for the price, although they look a little deceiving in that regard.) It's been our tradition for the past 2 or three holiday seasons to send a bunch of bags of their popcorn as gifts to our out-of-state family members. My parents, in particular, are popcorn fiends like me and they LOVE the flavors I have sent them (shout out to Wisconsin!). My mom's favorite is the churro, and my dad's is the lemon poppyseed. Best popcorn ever, they have unique flavors and it tastes divine. One of my favorites is the Rosemary and the Herb flavors for savory and for sweet the lemon poppy seed and all of the caramels. You have to try them and once you do you will be hunting them down, but they are easy to find online and in store around Tucson. read more

I just discovered this amazing popcorn at the Brew at the Zoo event and they are great!!! They had a small table set up with their bags of popcorn and were eager to let you taste any of their flavors which was nice. I had seen something about them before and was wanting to try their herb flavor but they didn't have it that day. I 'settled' for churro and inhaled the bag the next day. Apparently they sell their popcorn at several places around town along with farmers markets and other events. I will definitely be swinging by Pueblo Vida or Tap and Bottle for more soon! read more
