When my family was embarking on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce my own kids to the Jungle Queen. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

I live in Pompano Beach and love riding it, especially in the afternoon and evening -- the views along the Intracoastal are beautiful as the light changes. My most recent trip was excellent thanks to Capt Jack and Glen, who made the ride even better. Great service, great scenery -- highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.

We stopped at several of the stops. A quick jump on jump off and just feet away from a bar or restaurant. We started at noon and used the service till around 7:00. Such a fun way to party on the water. They also sell water and beers on the boat. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a fee, however someone purchased my ticket so I'm not sure of the price. We did go in late June and it was very hot out but you had a nice breeze. It turns out it was cheaper than the ferry - which we didn't realize was down for maintenance anyway (Plus I get sea sick so sea plane was much preferred by me) The check in process was so easy peasy and they had such a nice area where we waited for our flight. We didn't have to get there very early like you need to when you fly commercial. They took our luggage and weighed it and then they loaded us all up in the sea plane. We had 2 pilots and 4 passengers on the flight and the flight was about 25 min. I'm not gonna lie I was nervous as we went down the runway in the tiny plane - but once we were up in the air it was sooo cool to fly under the clouds. And landing on the water was was of the coolest thing ever. Maybe only second to taking off on the water runway. Overall it was such an amazing experience and when I go back to Bimini (which I plan to do) I will take the Tropic Ocean Airways.

Otherwise....food--too notch. Recommend Windjammer, Chops (cheese board, shrimp cocktail!), 150 Central Park (chateau briand tenderloin, black currant sorbet!!!!). Destinations---great, best was Coco Cay--truly a delight!!

We really like the Oasis class ships. Allure was recently in dry dock for amplification and you can tell a lot of the finishes were newer than they were two years ago. The crew is nice as always. The beds aren't as comfy as the Star ots or even the Navigator ots seas, but we made do. I noticed A lot of the events that keep us busy are like pay to play options such as Price is Right, Bingo, Escape room, laser tag etc. which seems to cut out some of the normally included entertainment. Giovanis and Mason jar food wasn't as good as we have experienced before. Service was great but quality of food everywhere wasn't as we've come to expect from RC. It was disappointing that specialty dining that is pricey, was not up to par. This is the reason for loss of a star.

The only downside was unclear check-in instructions. The email said the booth was inside Bayside Marketplace behind Chili's on the second floor. Right across from Chili's is a storefront for a different tour operator, and downstairs there are at least ten other booths with similar names, which made it confusing. After asking around, we learned the Fiesta Cruises booth was actually outside on the dock--you have to walk through the Tasca Paella restaurant to reach it. There are many large sculptures throughout the gardens, they are all labeled with the name of the work, the artist and the material. There is a large market with sculptures of all sizes for sale. The exhibit is so large it is only displayed in one location per year. While we were there, there were two sculptors working on new pieces, both took the time to speak with us. Love is in the air at the Bonnet House, while we were there they were setting up for a wedding and we saw a proposal. A beautiful setting for both. They have special events throughout the year, including an orchid show and Christmas holiday wonderland. Guided and self guided house tours are available,$30-40, we opted for the grounds tour only, $15. The gardens are well shaded so even on a warm day our visit was comfortable.

A few years ago, we sailed on this ship to the Southern Caribbean islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. In 2025, we sailed on this ship to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. We have been on many cruises with Celebrity, so I unfortunately forgot our other cruise locations for this ship. We usually get a veranda room, which has a balcony. Our rooms have always been in very good condition and been cleaned well by our hard-working and friendly attendants. Other classes of rooms include larger suites, ocean-view window rooms, and interior rooms. We nearly always skip the main dining rooms, and we instead eat either at the Oceanview Cafe buffet, Mast Grill, or the paid restaurants Tuscan Grille, Murano, Le Petit Chef at Qsine, and Sushi on Five. Other resturants include Blu for Aqua Class guests and Luminae for Retreat guests. Some bars and lounges are available. We really like the flavors of the foods and drinks. Sometimes I use the spa for massages, the fitness center, the theater for shows, the shops for shopping, the hot-glass studio, and the outdoor movie screen. We have not used the medical center, art gallery, photos, swimming pools, and basketball court. Of course, one of the best parts of cruising is the shore excursions, and Celebrity Equinox offers a decent variety of them.

Enjoyed the amenities with a comprehensive fitness room with sauna (steam room available at a cost and part of a Spa offer). Spa offer-Swedish massage was enjoyed by one in our party. A good variety of entertainment which we enjoyed-Comedian, Singer Impressionist, Musicals, Pianist to name a few. If you see a show, singer etc. you want to see, best to attend early as they might not be performing for the entire cruise. A couple of pools and plenty of Hot Tubs throughout although no water parks. This is more of an adult ship. Food overall was excellent. We stuck with the main dining rooms and had the 3 course dinner most of the evenings. Overall, great selection with Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, etc. although the last evening was a disappointment from a selection perspective. (They usually go all out) For the itinerary, we liked that we had two days in Aruba (which was a first). That said, we had 5 days at sea and 4 Port days. Would have been good to have one more Port day-maybe a stop in Jamaica? The daily activities video updates from the Cruise Director and Manager were a nice touch. They take service seriously and we had a great experience from Housekeeping to Dining, Spa and Bar areas. We sailed on the 7-day cruise to Key West and the Bahamas in April aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The ship is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, the entertainment was fun, and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We also thoroughly enjoyed our shore excursions, and the embarkation and disembarkation process was surprisingly smooth and easy, making the entire experience stress-free. If we lived closer to Tampa, we'd be booking a cruise on the Islander every month! Our first cruise turned out to be an unforgettable vacation, and I wouldn't hesitate to sail with Margaritaville at Sea again.
