Tulsa. Hello, My…read morename is Courtney Burnette, I am the daughter of Tracy Wilson, she was one of your patients at the end of 2024 and January 2025, I just wanted to take a moment to send a email, in hopes that it finds all of the nurses and staff that were there for my mother and I during what seemed a horrible nightmare, Because so much was going on during that time I do not remember anyone's name, my apologies. How ever, I wanted to Thank each of you for what you did, I know it's your job but I also know its more than that, just what little time I had to play nurse/caregiver, I seen there is absolutely no way to do your job and not have heart and connection, no way! It's a hard job mentally and physically and definitely emotionally, you've got to be one extremely strong human being to do what you all do, and still go home to your families and home life and sleep. So Thank You all for being there and helping me with my mother. Im sorry it has taken me 6 months to Thank You all, it's been a rough 6 months, no one or nothing really prepares you for the loss of your mother, I've never really been the type for much emotion but this last few months I've turned into a cry baby and have no idea how to deal with these so called emotions haha. There is one person I do remember her name, and I wanted to make sure I gave her the biggest Thank You, she was the last nurse that came in to help me with my mother, and even after getting my mother turned and in a more comfortably position, gave her medicine, rubbed my mothers head and stood there by my mothers side with me as my mother struggled to breath, and after telling her it was okay to go if she needed to go, she didn't have to stay, she insisted on staying with me, and as I told Ms. Tammy King once more, if she needed to go it was okay she could go, My mother took her last breath. I just want to Thank Tammy so very much from the bottom of my heart Thank You for staying with me and Thank You for helping me afterwards with what to do and who to call to come get my mother as I was completely lost and had no idea. Thank You so much you have no idea what you being there meant to me. Thank You all ALL OF YOU for helping my mother stay as comfortable as she could, thank you for coming in to help me, thank you for showing me, and teaching me what I needed to know. Thank YOU. My mother was not completely there mentally but I know she would have loved you guys. Ok one more time Thank You all for everything you do. P.s. From November 2024 to Jan. 2025 I was taking notes on all my mom's hospital stays and things that went on. good and bad. and before my mom got to sick I had told her I was going to write a book about her and the infection, She told me "Do It. Finish It and Make The Big Bucks" well i'm not real sure about the BIG BUCKS but in March of this year I finish my book and I published it for the world to read. It can be found on Amazon, Kindle an many others. it's called The S Effect by Courtney Burnette. its about my mother and the last three months of her life living with Staphylococcus. Staph= The S Effect... I have not gone back and edit it at all so there are a few mistakes, as i was not able to read it before i published it, it was hard enough writing it and reliving the bad memories so i published it without reading it first... :) Yep. Please go check it out, Purchase it, Read it, and Write a Review and leave some Stars. Please!!!!

My dad is a vascular dementia patient and multiple times they increased the price, promising higher level of care when in fact the care got worse. The call notifications of my dad's falls went from being an FYI to them complaining " he doesn't help us" referring to attempting to help dad up from falls. They didn't bother to clean his room, it took us being there and asking for them to lift a finger. They let my dad walk out of the facility to test drive a truck with a Ford salesman and they believed my dad (dementia patient) when he lied saying the salesman was me ( his son), even though they've seen my face many times. Then while dad was in rehab from a toe amputation, prairie house took the opportunity to say they could no longer care for his needs leaving us with 2.5 weeks to scramble and find his new home and move out his belongings to avoid unnecessary payments around the corner since a new month was coming. Front desk is incompetent, you ask her to put in a request and she waits for you to leave then goes back to drawing pictures, she literally draws at her desk all day. Nurses aides hideout and play on phones then act annoyed that you exist when you politely ask for help. Run away from this place.

I feel this is just about an economical choice and not really caring for your loved ones. I do not recommend this business at all.
