He doesn't work for the city. He is not endorsed by the city. After thereby tricking my unwell father (and some neighbors who also later regretted it) into hiring him, this Safeco guy showed up with an uncontrollable level of energy and dilated pupils. The guys who came with him that first time kept saying, "Man, you're crazy." They didn't return when he came back. He left tree parts on top of our air conditioning unit for several days in the middle of summer, even after the guys who were with him told him not to do it. He cut down the healthiest trees and cut off the branches of the tallest ones, thereby destabilizing them. He continued cutting healthy trees even after we told him to stop. Our back yard has become swamp-y and overrun by poison sumac. The foundation of our house is compromised. There's a drainage ditch that runs next to our house, so it should be obvious to anyone who knows about trees and soil what would happen. Some of the neighbors who were bamboozled ended up replanting the trees he cut down. Since he left the unhealthiest trees (and did everything he could to destabilize them) one almost crushed our house during the arctic blast. If you want a trustworthy tree service who isn't going to make you fear for your personal safety, I recommend Zamora.

Their pricing was clearly the best of several bids. The trees were all in tight quarters and had to be roped out. They were particularly careful protecting certain areas with important plants or smaller trees. There was minimal damage and less than would be expected for a job of this size. The salesman and project manager were often on site during the work, but the 6 man crew was more than capable on their own. They had the necessary equipment to move quickly and efficiently. After the log truck came a few days later they came back to clean up the mess. If you have major tree work to do you should get a proposal from Tree Time before you decide. He had a crew for the back three pine trees and a crew for the two front poplar trees, they were so quick and efficient, their entire process from start to finish. It was very refreshing to see them be cautious in their routine to ensure that the trees did not fall on the house, they made sure their lines were enforced before proceeding to cut the tree/limbs down, and his crew was very attentive in their safety as well, the teamwork was outstanding.
