I first contacted Ty before our wedding date was even set and he was always prompt and thorough with his replies. He was very accommodating to our circumstances (I was in Iowa, my fiance was in Maryland, and the wedding was in Ohio) and happily met with us while we were in Ohio visiting family for Christmas. I even asked Ty a question once that was totally unrelated to photography, but had more to do with another vendor's question, and he happily responded to my question, even though it wasn't related to his business. I felt that Ty and Christina were always very warm and friendly, down-to-earth, and very professional. Ty didn't barrage us with unnecessary communication in the time between signing the contract and the wedding and never pushed any of his services, but always offered them with a detailed explanation and sometimes examples of his work. A couple weeks before the wedding we got the final details worked out and my husband and I got a text from Ty the morning of the wedding with the first timeline details. Ty and Christina were wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding. Everything was on time and there were no surprises or miscommunications. They were both very easy-going and relaxed, which helped us relax. They never got in the way or were in any way demanding. They just went with the flow of the day and the atmosphere. We had a lot of small children in and at the wedding and both Ty and Christina were wonderful with working with them. There were so many great shots of the kids and Ty and Christina didn't mind making themselves look a little silly in order to get the little ones' attentions during family photos. One photo had a 2 year old and 3 babies under 9 months and they're all looking at the camera! Ty and Christina held a great balance of guiding us through parts of the day and being completely invisible to us at other times. They were also flexible and prepared for the weather. It rained all day the day of the wedding so there wasn't much natural light in the sanctuary for the ceremony. Ty provided lighting that not only enhanced the photos, but gave our guests a better experience. They even came prepared with clear umbrellas and towels so we could take a few pictures outside in the rain (some of our favorites!) They never stopped snapping photos at the reception and got a lot of great moments of us and our guests on the dance floor. Ty got the finished photos to us in 3 weeks - 665 photos. We were extremely pleased with the shots. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos. Ty and Christina were able to understand the tone we wanted for our wedding (classic, timeless) and the photos absolutely match. I would highly recommend hiring them for any event you want documented!

On the wedding day Ty and Christina helped me relax with how amazing they handled everything. They showed up early to the venue to scout it out and find good areas for pictures, they kept with the schedule we made beforehand, they interacted well with the whole wedding party making us feel relaxed and laughing for some pictures. I had my wedding pictures edited and sent to me about 10 days after the wedding, I think! And the pictures were amazing!! I have them all over our house as well as my parents and in-laws. He was patient and kind. He listened to our ideas and gave them a try. His motto seemed to be, it's all digital so we can shoot as many as we need to get the right picture. We never felt rushed but he got it done in a very efficient manner. He listened to our input and then gave us even better ideas. The finished product? Amazing.
