I have been here a few times. The pictures they take really come out great. The photographers have always been really good with my kids. That said, it's pretty disorganized and takes FOREVER. This past time they started 30 minutes late, which is annoying since then we were late to our next activity. After the session, he said it would take 10 minutes which really was 10. Their phone was bringing and multiple vendors made deliveries and they always stopped to deal with that. Even when he was showing me my photos he stopped to interrupt the people next to us and ultimately get up and walk away. Then he proceeded to try to upsell me as if he didn't just rudely walk away. The picture people closed so we went here again. Overall it took 2.5 hours to do what could have been done in 1 hour. They need someone to manage the place. Answer the phones so you can deal with the customers sitting there in front of them. read more

I had a great experience with Rebecca who did my photo but not so much with Tony. I talked to Nick about an appointment and explained that I needed just one picture and agreed to bring the price down to keep the session short. Today after the appointment when I went to pay, Tony refused to honor the price. He was pretty rude and disrespectful during the conversation. Even the photographer was apologetic for his behavior. I am never going back to this place where I have to interact with Rude individuals like Tony. read more

I came here to do my daughters 1st Birthday photoshoot. I loved how welcoming the staff were. I brought my own props from home and the staff did a great job executing my vision. They have nice background options as well as props too. I would definitely come here again and would recommended this place to anyone. read more

My family and I have been coming here since 2009. Tam (manager) and Tony (assistant manager) show up during their shifts and always give 100%. They work well with children. They offer expert advise for every client whether a member or not. I never feel as if I am being rushed or being up sold on any of the products. Let me share with you that my family have been through a house fire as well as moving into a new house. We lost all the pictures. If it wasn't for Tony "unarchiving" sessions dating back to the beginning of time and Tammy for uploading hundreds of pictures; I would have lost everything. Forever grateful. read more

Awful. Don't go here. Waste of money. The photographer started late, didn't ask what we wanted and spent time trying to make awkward poses work. As a result I had to struggle to find any pictures worth purchasing. To add insult to injury it took her 45 minutes after the photo shoot to show me the pictures. I waited another 20 minutes after making my selection then ran out to get a coffee only to return to a locked studio with my belongings inside. Overall, I wasted 2.5 hours and over $200 today and got a few mediocre pictures. My final complaint is that the backgrounds and props haven't changed in 7 years and now they just look tacky and cheesy. So, if you want to spend hours waiting for overpriced, tacky pictures definitely go here read more

Love this place. We have been going to the Braintree location for years. The photographers there are always so kind and patient with our two children who aren't always the most cooperative :) Recently went this past weekend for our yearly holiday photos. I wish I could give zero star. The photographer was very rude, impatient and was rushing us as soon as we started the shoot. She just had my 6 month baby lay on the carpet. I asked if they had photo perps and she said no. Oh the session didn't last for 15 minutes and to add to everything she wanted me to be a member ( what a joke). I had to take my baby's 6 month pics if not I would have walked out. I will never step my foot in that place. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. read more

Had a Session with my newborn and I couldn't be any more happier! Our photographer Charlie did an amazing job. The plan was to take the same pictures and poses that my 3 yr old son took when he was a newborn at this exact location. Charlie must be a perfectionist because he nailed this shoot and working with newborns is a challenge. Everyone who saw my photos were in love and I couldn't be any more satisfied with our pictures. I went here because I had a Groupon. Our photographer had a hard time taking photos of my 3 month old. She had her lay flat on her back for a majority of the poses. She seemed like she was new or never trained. We luckily got our Groupon pose and found a few other that were okay. I choose to purchase 3 extra sheets, not because they were great bu because my baby will only be 3 months once. I also had an expired Groupon that I wanted to apply the value of to my order. This is when the real issue started. They claim that they don't honor the value of expired ones. Only once I demanded the District Managers number did they "call" him to get the okay. Every other company honors the value of expired Groupons why would this be any different. I won't return to them. read more

We have been going to the Braintree Portrait Simple location for the past 3 years. We do at least one photoshoot of my 2 girls there every year. Charlie and Tony are our go to photographers. They are both wonderful with kids; very energetic, funny and patient. The total time spent at the store is about 2.5 hours from taking the pictures to reviewing and finalizing. But we get such great shots of the girls every year that it's time well spent. We just did a solo photoshoot of our 2 year old yesterday with Charlie and once again he did a fantastic job! read more

We had a terrific session with Tony and got so many wonderful shots! Tony was a lot of fun and my daughter really enjoyed the experience - you can tell by the smile in all of her photos! He was really professional and had a great, artistic eye for the back drops and cute holiday-themed props. In fact, we've been to several Portrait Simple locations and this studio has the widest selection of the most organized props that I have ever seen. They were even freshening up some of the oversized letters while we were there so the props all look brand new. Tony was also really helpful in helping us choose the best photos and the right package to get all of the shots that we wanted. I highly recommend this studio for great photos!!! read more

The pictures come out beautiful. Anthony is very nice, professional and good with kids. It is very pricey I feel this is my only complaint.To get reprints it's $22 a sheet. I think after you spend all that money on pictures the reprints should be more reasonable. If you want to spend the money they are great quality pictures. I highly recommend Anthony he is not pushy or rushy. read more

Our photographer was late, but she was apologetic and did a great job in getting good photos of the family. We got a free sheet as compensation for our wait. The photographer pushed a bit too much when the time came to purchase portraits, but we didn't give in. In the end, the prices weren't too high. read more

Where do I begin!? Let's just say Portrait Simple in Braintree made a very stressful situation much more calm and positive. I originally had a photographer lined up to do a shoot for my 10 month old niece as a holiday gift to her Mommy. Two days before our scheduled session (a week and a half before Christmas) our photographer came down with the flu. This left us with a stressful situation and no gift for Mommy. I immediately started calling corporate photography studios and my first and last call was to Portrait Simple in Braintree. The staff was the most accommodating and helpful group of people! I was able to secure a spot for my niece to get her photos taken at the same time and date of our initial photo shoot... Portrait Simple was able to accommodate us with two days notice! We arrived at the studio and everyone was so welcoming! Our photographer was Bridget and she absolutely nailed everything we wanted and more! Bridget was amazing with my niece and got very natural smiles and laughs that were captured so perfectly! I was so pleased at this point I didn't think my experience could get any better, until I sat down with Charlie who went over our photos with us in sales. Charlie was knowledgeable and knew exactly how to give us what we wanted at the best price possible! After we chose our images Charlie then spent time perfecting the photos! I have never had such an amazing experience with a photographer, I have always worked with private photographers and this just goes to prove that corporate studios can be equally as good or in our case so much better!!! We purchased a membership to Portrait Simple and cannot wait to go back for more sessions! read more
