BEWARE. Avoid this company. Theft. In March 2026 we hired Poseidon Marine (also operating as Poseidon Marine and Poseidon Plus) to service our two 2025 Sea-Doo Explorer Pro 230 jet skis. Finally on April 10, 2026, a mechanic came to our home to make the repairs: replacing the wear rings on both jet pumps. Typical maintenance. The mechanic sent to our home did not have the basic tools (like a vice or wrench) or to make the repair. Instead he said it could only be repaired back "at the shop." He took possession of both jet pump assemblies and some other related parts to go back to a workspace where they could be repaired. Later that day, April 10, we were informed by Poseidon that the repaired parts would be returned to us on June 9, 2026. YES, you read that correctly -- 60 days to finish the job. Since April 11, 2026, we have made more than three dozen phone calls, requesting the return of our property or an address where we could pick up our parts. Our calls have gone unanswered and our requests have been ignored. We speak with a receptionist who assures us we will get a return call but we have never received a return response. The parts they took include two jet pump assemblies and related components with a replacement value exceeding $1,800 each. Yep, you read that correctly, Poseidon has in essence "stolen" our parts totally almost $4,000. That's how they treat a paying customer. Not only are we missing two jet pump assembly we were charged and paid in full for repairs. During this same period, our credit card was charged multiple times under various merchant names associated with the business, including BoatRx Poseidon Marine, Poseidon Marine, and Poseidon Plus. This is what we've paid Poseidon to date: * March 24, 2026 - $19.97 * April 13, 2026 - $714.32 * April 13, 2026 - $495.47 * April 23, 2026 - $19.97 * May 26, 2026 - $19.97 These charges were paid in full for services not rendered on parts that were "stolen" from us. After weeks of unsuccessful attempts to communicate and recover our property, we were left with no choice but to send a formal certified CIVIL THEFT demand letter, dispute the charges with our credit card company, and pursue additional legal remedies. Every business can make mistakes. What matters is how they respond. In our experience, the most troubling issue was not the repair work itself--it was the complete lack of communication, failure to return calls, failure to provide updates, and failure to return property after repeated requests. Not only did we call the main phone number we attempted to reach the owners, Jeremy Davis and William Hunter Harris, by email and mail. If you are considering using this company, I strongly recommend you reconsider. Things happen but if you cannot count on basic customer service when issues arise you're putting yourself at great risk. Their communicated repair and return date of June 9, 2026 has now come and gone with no communication, no return calls, and failure to return our property. We took our skis to KM Cycle of Ft Walton and paid to have new pumps installed. Total repair bill, $5,000. Our hope is the law firm we've hired will have more success getting a response and potential customers understand the risks involved. If i could give a zero i would. They were supposed to do a pm service and replace steering cables on 2020 yamaha 242x. Gut got here 9am. Did service and a bunch of other inspection stuff i didn't ask for. Left for lunch 11:30. Came back at 1:30. Fiddled around with steering. Didn't know how to do it. Spent most of remaing day on phone or in his truck watching how to videos. Left at 5pm said he would be back tooorrow. He was physically on site for a total of 6 hours and screwed around and did nothing for 2.5 of those. They then proceed to bill me for 8.7 hours labor at $295 per hour. With part my bill was $4,100 and all I got was a pm service and my new steering cables still in the box. Both jobs completed should of been this much. Then to add insult to injury they say we will be back June 4th and still more charges to come. No thanks. I have the entire day on video and I was present. I am denying charges and will see how it plays out in arbitration or court. Don't use these guys Run away run away fast. Really no photos to post since he didn't do anything Follow up. 05/28 I made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails with absolutely zero response, but they sure can respond to a review quick.So I disputed the charge through my credit card. I won my dispute for the labor they charged me when the we physically not even there 856 dollars. Other than that I still had to pay for all the time the guy watched how-to videos on YouTube. So unfortunately after doing all the math. I ened up paying over 3k for a pm service that would have cost 1300 at the dealership. So these guys ripped me off for about 2 grand. Lesson learned. Never again. Buyer beware I should have done more research. They have more BBB complaints than a ponzi scheme builder. Please read the reviews before doing any business with Poseidon. I am a senior citizen and this business experience with Poseidon Marine is the worst in my life. The mechanic arrived at my home at 8 am on March 26, 2026, to repair my jet ski. After taking a few minutes to look at the problem, he suggested that he could cut an access hole in the back of my jet ski to allow him access. I of course refused this jury rig. To make a long story short. Not only was the bill amount a rip off, I was also charged a monthly $ 19.99 fee for a silver subscription which I never authorized. Avoid this company at all costs. We contacted them for a simple estimate. They sent a technician without ever disclosing the cost upfront. We were then charged $900 (supposedly to be deducted from future work), but we never moved forward with them. Despite that, they started billing us mysterious monthly fees for services we never requested or authorized. When we disputed the charges, they charged us a second time. We had no choice but to cancel our credit card to stop it. Someone from the company later called us, asking us to remove our review in exchange for fixing the issue. We agreed -- but only once the money was actually refunded. Instead of honoring that, they began threatening us. We will continue posting this review (and our team will too) until the unauthorized charges are fully refunded and this is resolved. Ouch- shame on me as I should have looked at their reviews before calling them to install my Starlink on my boat. 11hrs of labor to run 1 cable a total of 15ft. Tech was unqualified/slow/idle for hours but still charged. Brought the wrong dc converter Charged $300 for follow up appt I did not confirm boat address for. Job not completed Charged my card for all this labor before I could express concern and discuss. And when I tried they would not call me back. It wasn't until I left a review in their internal site they called back and said they would let me know what they would do in a couple weeks. No call after 2 months so I reached out. I first contacted this business on Sunday, June 21, regarding my 2022 Sea-Doo Trixx after a spark plug snapped inside one of the cylinders. A mechanic came to inspect it and worked on it for 3 hours. He told me he needed to take the engine block back to the shop due to not having enough tools. Before he left with my engine block, I made one thing absolutely clear: I wanted an estimate before any work was performed. I specifically stated that if the repair exceeded six hours of labor, I did not want to move forward. There was no misunderstanding. Instead, without my knowledge, without my permission, and without my signature, my engine block was shipped out for repairs. To make matters worse, my credit card was charged for an amount I never authorized. Luckily, I was contacted by my bank. Then I was told there was a repair fee, and they would have to charge me 4 more hours to put the parts back together. After calling them for hours, without any clear reasoning to what they did eventually, I was told they had "lowered the price," as if reducing an unauthorized bill somehow made it acceptable. Now I am being told that they will not return my own property unless I pay for repairs that I never approved. They made the decision to perform the work without my consent, charged my card without authorization, and are now holding my engine block hostage until I pay for services I explicitly declined. I did everything I was supposed to do. I asked for an estimate. I set a clear spending limit. I never signed anything authorizing these repairs. Despite that, they chose to ignore my instructions, proceed anyway, and then demand payment while refusing to return what belongs to me. This entire situation could have been avoided by simply obtaining my authorization before performing any work. Stay FAR AWAY from this company. They are scam artists. I originally contacted Poseidon Marine through the contact form on their website to schedule a technician to diagnose why my boat wouldn't start. I explained to Luke (the only employee I ever spoke with by phone) that I believed it was a fuel line issue and wanted someone to inspect the boat, determine the problem, and then send me a quote if repairs were needed. I never authorize repairs before receiving an estimate. Instead, the technician came out, performed repairs without my approval, and my debit card was charged $1,323.31 on May 28. I wasn't happy that I wasn't contacted first, but I let it go because the boat appeared to be running again and I needed it operational so I could sell it. Ironically, a few days later I discovered the technician had left a funnel in my fuel tank. After it rained, water got into the tank and now the boat doesn't run again because of their negligence. The inspection report also mentioned my trailer needed wheel bearing and axle work. Shortly afterward, Poseidon scheduled another appointment on their own. I never approved trailer repairs. While I was away from my office, I received a text with an invoice for $769.23. I assumed it was an estimate because I had never approved the appointment or the work. I even replied asking for the appointment to NOT be scheduled and pressed "2" to cancel it, only to learn the work had already been completed and my card had already been charged. On June 7, I called Luke and specifically asked for an estimate for the remaining trailer repairs. He said he would send one, but he never did. Instead, I immediately received another copy of the same $769.23 invoice. Naturally, I believed that was the estimate for the next repair. Then on June 16, the technician returned and completed the axle repair. Without warning or approval, Poseidon charged my debit card $3,841.20. I was absolutely stunned. Had I known that repair would cost nearly $4,000, I would have never approved it. I was already hesitant about spending $769 on a trailer repair just so I could sell the boat. Instead, I ended up paying over $4,600 on trailer repairs alone for a trailer worth a fraction of that. In total, Poseidon charged me over $5,000 with little to no communication, no estimates, and no authorization before billing my debit card. I immediately tried contacting the company. I left four voicemail messages in 48 hours and never received a callback. I then emailed them with everything outlined above. Their response? They claimed everything was authorized. When I explained that I never approved these repairs, they ignored the technician leaving a funnel in my fuel tank and instead insisted I had "verbally authorized" all of the work. They even gave me names of employees they claimed I spoke with. The problem? I never spoke to those people. I checked my phone records, and there are no calls matching the dates and times they claimed. They also argued that simply opening or reading documents somehow counted as approval. That is absurd. I emailed them one final time explaining that none of these charges had actually been authorized, and they completely ghosted me. I am now pursuing legal action over both the negligent repair work and the unauthorized billing practices. I even had to cancel my debit card after they attempted to process another $20 charge after all of this. I'm sure the owner will respond claiming their "internal investigation" proved they did nothing wrong, just like they do under countless other negative reviews. At some point, a reputable company would stop blaming customers and fix the communication and billing issues that keep generating the same complaints. Poseidon Marine has chosen not to. Do yourself a favor: take your boat to a reputable local repair shop instead. Do not give Poseidon Marine access to your boat, your property, or your financial information. On Thursday July 16,2026 I contacted Poseidon Marine about servicing my SIMRAD unit on my 2026 Lowe Tritoon boat,to get my way points set up. I spoke to a man by the name of Jason and explained what I needed and asked him if they could get them programmed in and running. He said yes and he had people capable of doing the work. I then asked him about the cost and he said labor would be $220 a hour and I said no in which he then ask me if I was a first time customer and I said yes then said the cost would be $185 a hour. so then he set up for someone by the name of Jim to come to my address at my marina the next day Friday the 17th of July 2026. I explained the way points would come up but not connect to my SIMRAD. He started doing some things and no progress being made and them I told him I called SIMRAD the day before and established a case number in which he could call them and they would walk him thru the steps to help him get it up and working. After a hour or so they told him may have to get a SD card to install for the SIMRAD to load. So then Jeff said thats all that could be done now. So he took a 8 second and a 19 second video of my boat and another 5 or 6 pictures that no damage or mess was made on my boat, while he was leaving and I said nothing was fixed and I would call the office about tat and what I was being charged. I weas expecting two hours labor totaling $370. I checked my credit card three hours later and had 4 charges totaling over$1500. The person that came to service my engine was not a diesel mechanic. He was rushed because he said he had to get home to his sick wife. He tried to solve a port engine, electrical problem by cheating it to the starboard engine. I have since spoken with several professionals and they've all said that this was a very dangerous and horrible practice. And they were right. Both engines have electrical problems now, and we were lucky not to collide with other boats when we lost everything. I now have to pay someone to undo what they did and do it right. I have cameras all over my home and have the time stamps for when they apparently try the next tactic of saying there were here longer. They charged my CC 2300 last night. So apparently all the other complaints are accurate. They ask for a CC prior to work and now it is obvious why. This was obviously very intentional and unethical. We were given an all-in estimate verbally to install an additional set of bunks for a $3800 (because we didn't want to do just yet if too expensive. Paper Estimate came with $0 cost, and then told the $3800 was only for parts, then charged another $1000 for labor. Once the job was complete, they are trying to charge another $3800 for what they say is labor and barge charges and they will charge your card without notification. I hired Poseidon Marine for a Bimini top installation after being quoted a labor rate of $175 per hour and told there would be no service call fee. I was subsequently billed a $215 service call fee and charged labor at $215 per hour instead. I provided documentation supporting the quoted rate and no-service-call-fee agreement, but Poseidon Marine refused to honor its representations after a two-week review process. I also discovered recurring membership charges that I did not knowingly authorize. The membership language appeared only in fine print on an invoice for what I believed was a one-time service appointment. My experience was marked by inaccurate billing, poor transparency, and a refusal to correct documented discrepancies. Had a tech come out to diagnose an electrical issue on my boat, the technition found a bad common lead (4ft peice of wire) and replaced it for me and charged two thousand. Probably in part because he spent more time removing a pump i asked them not to fix. They then scheduled me for another appointment for the pump and a battery switch which i had to call and cancel because i never requested any of this. Despite being very expensive i assumed at the very least it was quality work and it wouldnt leave me stranded on the water. Well it did. The boat died on me ( not because the technition left my battery terminals very loose which he did) but because the crimp where he spliced new wire onto the old in the motor housing was the worst crimp ive ever seen. Missed 5 strands of the copper wire and the crimp fell right off. Luckily he also used no heat shrink tape or anything that would suggest the quality work i was hoping for so i was able to pull the garbage work off, twist the wires together to get home. When the tech showed up Monday he rediagnosed it (took) 2hrs, then took a pic of serial number left, then came back. And made three more trips out. Mind u this is a panda 8kmini. So not a big job. This company does not give you upfront pricing. They told me they would run prices and costs for a boat repair by me and talk to me before agreeing to anything. They also sent me a service invoice for zero dollars due. Zero dollars labor zero dollar service. Then after evaluating my boat from 8:50 AM until 10 AM, that's one hour and 10 minutes. The guy told me everything that was wrong with my boat. Igniters, spark plugs, water in the fuel tank, steering cable, broken, all wires, corroded, no navigation lights, except the horn working in the radio working, the fuel tank would need to be flushed and clean because it has water in it, oil is fine, he mentioned how bad my trailer was. I already knew that. He literally told me he was finished and that he would make a list of everything he believes might be needed to maybe get the boat working. I told him where he could leave the key for the boat and how to put the boat cover on. I know it was 10 AM because I have the dash cam video and that's when I had to go to work. The company calls me and tells me that it was $200 for showing up, $200 per hour for 5.5 hours worth of work. In reality, it was only one hour and 10 minutes worth of work. They didn't tell me anything about these prices. And then they threatened me that they would take all legal action and call the police if I don't pay them by the end of the day. Mind you this is the very next day after the service. I read the microscopic fine print later and see if they have a three day grace period with hundred dollar penalty if you're more than three days late. Therefore, his demanding immediate payment under threat of the police was a violation and breach of the contract that clearly mentioned something about if you three days late, there's a penalty and no further service will be done until any debts are settled . I explained to them that this was told to me that it would be a free evaluation according to their own contract. It was loaded with zero costs all the way down the line. And I was assured they would run costs by me before beginning any work. No work was done on my boat. It was just an evaluation of my boat. They threaten legal action right away. They lied about how long the guy was looking at my boat for. Do not do business with the scammers. This company should be shut down and their fraudulent billing practices should land them in jail. If you're thinking about having work done by these people, I'll tell you right now. Don't even bother. They will lie about how long they worked and demand money without telling you upfront any numbers. I told them I'm $2000 for consultation with a $3000 show up fee. These are terrible people and they should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and the consumer protection agencies. I do business on handshakes and treatment as men. So unfortunately, I did not check yelp and see their absolutely terrible reviews. I will make sure this business suffers greatly and I will spread the news about this company far and wide across every review site that there is. I see that they have a common practice of over billing people for false overcharged hours. This type of behavior will easily lose them many lawsuits in civil court, they have a reputation for being dishonest and over billing. One gentleman just described that a technician took our taking photos. Sure enough the company responded, saying all this was agreed to and part of required diagnostics. I did not hire a photographer to take pictures of my boat. That is not part of the diagnostics. Fortunately, I have more control over my credit card and will be canceling my card immediately after reading these terrible reviews by the scamming company. I will have this company shut down in a week. I gave them one hour to apologize and they double down with their threats after being informed that their threat was a breach of contract they made the thread again. Now I read that they continuously charge people's credit cards that they have on file even in greater amounts than their original dispute. That will definitely never happen with me. They crossed the wrong one this time. I promise you they will be out of business in a month. I'm not just some normal guy that's gonna take this kind of abuse and attempted fraud. I take it extremely personal when a company tries to defraud me spending one hour and then trying to tell me that they spent 5 1/2 hours doing diagnostic when their tech told me he was done at 10 AM. He started at 8:50 when I handed him the keys. Even if I generously gave him 10 minutes as if he started at 8:40 this is not anywhere near even two hours let alone 5 1/2. Would Leave Zero Stars if Possible. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Having an Issue with the Atlas Jackplate on bay boat. Spoke with associate to schedule a visit to confirm issue and get estimate for repair which was told could be completed on boat lift. Was told he would wave the service charge for diagnosis if i scheduled the appointment on the phone that day. Came out a week later and confirmed motor/actuator is the issue. Spoke with tech at 8:18am on site to tell me issue. Appointment was scheduled for 8am. Was told someone would call to review best options. Received call at 5:28pm that I missed and called back at 5:33pm. In that FIVE minutes they put through a charge of $1,051 for diagnosis of Jackplate. Asked what the charge was for on the phone and he had no answer for me. Received invoice that had no breakdown for 90% of bill. Was specifically told and verified no charge would be made until I approved the solution to fix the jackplate along with my signature. Noted that the service charge was waved and noted NO SC FEE on invoice sent to me. Was told either he personally would call back the next morning or a supervisor would call. No calls received. Have left four voicemails and no response. Called main office and requested to review a bill and the person I spoke with said a supervisor would call me back. When I asked when to expect the call back her response was "I have no idea." Submitted a dispute with my credit card company. read more

This business seems to largely be a corporate office front, with little meaningful connection to the actual mechanics doing the work. They will answer quickly and offer assistance, but that is as far as their services go. The folks on the phones can't give you much info on the service and the mechanics can't give you much info on the company or process. I recently called to get a diesel engine mechanic to work on a boat just south of Tallahassee, which is well within their advertised range. All i needed was help getting the engines started. They scheduled a service visit weeks in advance. Without any advance notice of their intent, they sent a mechanic from Panama City and apparently charged me the full rate for all his time driving. The bill was not itemized in any way, so it is impossible to tell, but my credit card was charged almost $2000 for what was a 3 hour visit to the boat. It identified total time as over 8 hours. Not only did they screw me financially, but the mechanic was not competent and misdiagnosed the problem. Do not repeat my mistakes and avoid this company at all costs.
