I will preface this review by stating that David never actually worked on my bike, so this is not a reflection of his technical abilities but rather his professionalism--or lack thereof--in handling customer communication and scheduling. I reached out to David to repair my 2015 Street Glide Special, which was cranking but not turning over. After a few text exchanges, we agreed that he would come out on 8/24. I made it clear that I would only be available until 3:00 PM, to which he responded that it would be no problem. However, David did not show up. At 5:00 PM, I received a text from him saying he got tied up at another job and could still come out if I was available, but I wasn't. I understood that jobs can run long and told him my next available window would be Tuesday, 8/27. David assured me that he would prioritize me and get me up and running first thing on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went without a single text or call from David. I waited until 1:00 PM before I had to move on with my day, still having heard nothing from him. Then, on Wednesday, 8/28, I received a text at 8:30 AM asking if I was available, followed by a phone call at 9:00 AM, and another text minutes later claiming that he tried contacting me multiple times without a response, insinuating that I must be too busy. I travel frequently for work and have limited availability, which is why I was upfront about my schedule and provided multiple windows of time for David to complete the job. He failed to meet these windows despite his assurances, causing significant frustration on my end. The final straw was when I politely informed David that, given my experience, I would be seeking help elsewhere for my motorcycle repair. His response was shockingly unprofessional. It was clear he took my decision personally, as I suddenly received more texts from him in 15 minutes than I had during our entire time trying to arrange the repair. I wanted to support a local business, but instead, I was met with poor communication, unreliable service, and unprofessional behavior. Again, this is not a review of David's work because it never got to that point, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend him to anyone. in the end Dirty D's got the job done - but getting there was a battle. He came to get my scooter running again - worked on it for 5 hours, then he started it and it ran; following morning it would not start - same issue as before - no spark - he didn't want to come back out, saying it was fixed. I finally got him out again and he worked another 4 hours on it - doing same thing he did night before - cleaning carb, cleaning gas tank, and (he said) replacing old spark plug with one of his silver spark plugs. Now, when he was rechecking everything he discovered that he put in the original spark plug - he accused us of tampering with it - and when he finally put in his silver spark plugs and recleaning the carburetor - it ran finally = but all the while accusing us of replacing the spark plug - he also left without putting fenders back on - seemed like he was on something........................anyways in the end it was fixed at fair price. read more

I recently had an issue with my car when traveling to Tampa, I went to a little market and when leaving the place I didn't realize that there was a piece of metal sticking out of the ground, it completely tore and broke my radiator support bar, to top it off it was on a Saturday night and there was no shop open but we thankfully found Dave, he was so kind to help us when we were in a pinch, he was very transparent with us on what he would have to do and how long it would take, he communicated with us the whole time and did everything in his power to help us. My brake handle cracked and he spent several weeks trying to hunt down the part at a decent price when a local dealer wanted to charge an outrageous price for the part. I requested service for David to come out to a property in IRB to test a vehicle prior to turning on the vehicle after hurricane Helene. He was very responsive at first, texted me with a time he could be available. We stayed in contact that day, arranged a time to meet. To my surprise, he didn't show up and never called or texted me to say he couldn't show up. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since traveling could be difficult during the disaster at task. He then contacted my husband and said he could meet about 7:30pm so my husband drove to the meeting spot and again David did not show or text my husband until late. David, then said he would meet between 9-10am the next morning at the location, so my husband was waiting for David. 10am rolled around and no David, no call, no text until after 11am. David told my husband he had just woke up, long night since he works 24/7. He stood my husband up multiple times. Very unprofessional. My husband was not on a plane per David's comment. I have never in my life written a bad review against someone but if I do not warn the public about this unbelievable situation I will feel absolutely horrible knowing this guy can still be out there doing what he did to me to other people. I hired dirty D's to repair my motorcycle where he told me two different times last Friday he was coming and never showed making we wait around all day for nothing. Saturday he did the exact same thing. I am willing to give people the benefit of the doubt to do the right thing so on Sunday when he tried to do the same thing once again and I told him he needed to stop doing what he was doing and finally come repair what he had promised. When he finally showed up he came with a hydraulic lift to raise up my bike and replace the rear wheel, axel, and bearings. He ended up dropping my bike not once but twice causing serious damages to my fairings and mirror on my gsxr 1000. I had to tell him to leave as he had just caused serious damage rather than fixing my motorcycle. He explained he was going to pay for the fairings and fix it however once I explained that I was not going to use him anymore after how many times he lied to me first about coming to do the work and then he also tried to lie to me saying he spoke to his lawyer who told him not to worry because he had asked for my help. I showed him all of our text messages and he of course never once asked for my help. It is also not my responsibility to help someone I hire to perform a service meaning if he needed help and knew that ahead of time then he should have brought someone to help but he did not ask For help or bring help. Long story short as soon as I told him I would simply like for him to pay for the damages and I was not going to allow him back to my house to work on my motorcycle he is now trying to threaten me with his lawyer saying he will sue me for defamation of character. I don't see how someone can show up to my house and cause damages to my motorcycle when they were hired to fix it and somehow me telling people the truth about what happened which I have all the text messages to back up everything including him admitting to the damages and at first promising to pay for the fairings and now threatening me instead. Everything I am saying Here I can back up with pictures of him in my garage next to the damages on my motorcycle and with text messages from him. If I do not warn people to help them avoid this from happening to them well then I would have felt like the bad guy. I am simply telling the truth and I can not stress enough to stay away from this guy as he is not just extremely unreliable he will break your machine and refuse to repair it unless you hire him to do the work again. Complete scammer and it is very disappointing that I now have to file a complaint with the florida attorney generals office and take him to small claims court just to get the money to get my motorcycle finally fixed.
