My stylist is wonderful at recommending what styles and color look best with my skin tone and with my face shape. I will NEVER go anywhere else. The environment is very relaxing and comfortable. If I could give no stars it would be more appropriate. Showed up at 12p for a 12:15p appointment with Sheena. No one spoke, looked my way, or acknowledged my existence for 15-20 minutes (except 2 hairsylists whispering to one another while looking at me). Two front desk personnel walked in and out of the business and around the salon, chatting, etc. while never acknowledging me. I sat and waited 45 minutes for the hair stylist after one of the front desk personnel FINALLY acknowledged me. I left without a hair cut after that long of a wait time combined with the other issues. Ridiculous. Snobs. read more

I recently moved the Kingsport area and was in desperate need of a haircut. After reviewing ratings on Yelp I chose to see Chris at the Posh Salon. I was extremely satisfied with my whole experience. The salon was chic and upscale. Chis was fabulous, he listened intently and gave me a beautiful haircut. I plan to get my husbands hair cut by Chris, and return for anything I need in the future! Amazing haircut by Chris Winegar. Keeping my hair long whole wanting something different had been a challenge. Chris nailed it the first time! My hair is a tad shorter, but I won't miss it at all. Let's just say I wouldn't even let my dog get groomed here! The owner is rude and snooty. She act like we were not good enough for the salon... If she is going to have a business she needs to learn how to treat customers. I thought the hair was bad before I was wrong after attempting to fix it twice and the owner seen nothing wrong with it, the hair is definitely worse with orange and black spots everywhere. The hair was suppose to be chunky blonde highlights with dark underneath.(how it is usually worn) she wanted to blend the tiger striped hair with a razor so it can be hidden... REALLY?!? She also said to wear it pinned up for a few weeks no one will notice...ok let's see pin it up so people can see orange and black blotched hair.. CLASSY! You can't explain nothing to the owner because your not a cosmetologist and evidently you don't know what's wrong with your own hair when you look at it. She got upset because i was with the person getting her hair done and told me it's in foils you can't see what it will look like after?? We tried to explain to her a couple of times and she seemed not to have a care in the world. She walked away and was speaking under her breath. She came back and told us after the hair is washed we just need to leave with attitude. She also tried to tell us we were confrontational. If the girl doing the hair would have foiled the hair correctly than I wouldn't have questioned the work. Or maybe not put blonde hair dye on pieces of hair and than lay it on the dark color hair. The second time she tried to supposedly fix my hair she was in a hurry because she had another person come in. She told us if you see anything wrong with it just let me know. How would you like someone to tell you if you put them in a darker room and also not sitting in front of a mirror. We did not pay for this sorry service and we will not be back. Most awful customer care I have ever seen. This might seem like a bashing review but it's not. I would beware of this salon. I would rather people be warned. read more
