I made appointment and saw Thania. She did an amazing job! I showed her a photo for reference and she gave me her opinion. I absolutely love this studio. I walked in because my hair appointment got cancelled last minute and Uyuki and Mary made my day.. Uyuki did my make up, which was this very beautiful smokey eye with some coral accents to bring in the color of my dress I was wearing ... Mary gave me these beautiful soft curls and put in my extensions in that looked gorgeous in my engagement shoots! I couldn't have been happier! Vanessa and Uyuky did my hair and make up for both my boudoir photo shoot and wedding and I was SO HAPPY with their work. I do not do my hair or make up at all so when I had ideas they went with them but also gave in a little input on what to prepare for to make sure its what I really wanted, knowing the styles I was going for were out of my norm. I really appreciate the fact that they listen to their clients but also look out for their best interest and don't just do it their way like other places I have visited in the past. I felt really good about how they made me look and feel, also no touch ups were needed the entire day! Perfect! On both visits I felt like I was with a couple of girlfriends, they joke with you, get to know you, they asked about my wedding ideas and they shared stuff about them as well. It was really cool, I have never experienced that before. On my wedding day I slept two hours and Vanessa said I could just sleep while she did my hair and Uyuky offered me a place to lie down while she did my make up, who does that? Love Vanessa, Uyuki and Sandy! I'm currently a high school student and go there with my family to get our hair done and makeup too. Vanessa did a Brazilian blowout for me for a event at school and the results were stunning. My hair was silky and smooth and got so many compliments! It lasted for a few months and because I love it so much, I went back to do it again later. Sandy sugars my underarms and it takes a long time for them to grown back and when they do, it's very little now. And I don't have dark underarms like other salons I know. They are great at what they do for me and are very patient and treat you like family. OMG!! What can I say about this place but that it is AMAZING!!! I was literally down to 2 weeks before my engagement shoot and had no makeup artist, so I was referred to Uyuki for makeup and she was awesome!!! Not only were they closed on the day of my shoot and she went in to the salon just to do my makeup but she made me feel so comfortable. She made me look flawless and my makeup looked exactly how I wanted. I was more than happy with her and the outcome of how my makeup looked in my pictures. She is unbelieveable and I cannot wait for her to do my makeup on my wedding day! Now I can honestly say that I NEVER get facials done but the day I was in there for makeup I realized they not only do makeup and hair, but they also have "MARIA" who does facials. I went ahead and booked an appointment. Went in exactly a week ago and I can't say enough about Maria. She took her time and I literally did not want to get up from the bed. Im a yelper but tend not to review, dont know why but for this situation i had to. First I came a week before for a quote $240. Ok. Called her to set up an appointment for the next Sat assuming she was gonna do an awesome job. I had my hair "Japanese straightened" what I requested which was done by Tanya. Everyone was cordial, pleasant and place was inviting. At the end when it came down to paying for the treatment she said it $350. I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED!!! I told her the quote she gave me and said she didn't remember saying that $. Anyway, she agreed to the $240. Please keep in mind last time i had this done my hair was totally straight, soft and shinny (done elsewhere, which i should have gone back)so I know the outcome. Instructions dont shampoo until Tuesday. Which i did. OMG!!! my hair is nappy. Not straight, not shinny and not soft. . Went back today Friday to get my money back was told by Tanya which she saw my hair and felt it and said i dont think i can give u the $240 back but she offered me to redo it. I said NO. Money back. Asked her if i can talk or she can talk to her manager/boss. She said that she'll try but please i know she probably wont. I will try to contact Uyuky her boss tomorrow because she obviously couldn't contact her right there about an unsatisfied customer. I will keep you guyz posted. Update: I was called by Uyuky and hr later after my post. She apologized for the inconvenience and she would refund me the money. Yesterday i went and she helped me and refunded all the amount back to my account. She also gave me a little gift for all the inconvenience. I shouldn't have taken it but I did. So thats my story. Took My daughter to get her hair done for Prom on 6-7-14. And as soon as we walked inside they were so nice and you felt very comfortable in there. My daughter was seated right away and when she was done getting her hair done. It looked beautiful!!! My Daughter had a big smile on her face and that made me very happy. Amazing! My daughter has short hair and needed it done for her friend's quinceañera. It was a challenge getting her hair in a style she needed but they managed to get it into a retro curl in the front and miraculously got some curls in the back. My daughter loved it! I am having my gender reveal this Saturday and called this salon a month and a half in advance!! I was given a quote for hair and makeup (I wanted my hair washed and styled) and that it would be $150! I booked my appointment and she confirmed the date and services I wanted done!! I never received a call from this salon to confirm my appointment so I decided to call them 3 days before my event just to confirm!! The woman I spoke to said it was weird because I was only put down for makeup and not hair!!!! She said she wasn't able to fit me in because she was all booked with clients that day!! I was very upset, she wasn't trying to help me at all even though I booked a month and a half in advance!! I specifically booked it early so I would have no trouble with trying to find a salon that wasn't all booked!! She even told me that the quote was wrong, that it would've been more expensive since my hair is long which I wasn't told the first time i called!! She said that one of her clients hasn't confirmed her appointment yet..... I said "okaaaayyyy so will you give me a call back to let me know if she did or didn't?" I went in after yelping all salons near me and chose this one because of all the good reviews. I walked in and i was very impressed with the salon and and Friendly staff. I was seen by tania and showed her a picture if what i wanted. (Ombre style) i trusted her with my hair expecting her to do a gr8 job. She took it upon herself to do the top half brown and the bottom half BLEACH BLONDE...yes she bleached my hair!!!!!! Nothing to what the picture looked like. told me to come in in 3 days so she can "fix it" so when i go back in 3 days what does she do?? She bleaches it again!!!! Are u kidding me? And she charged me again. I wish i could of taking pictures of b4 and after. Do at the end of the day half my hair is fried and months later im still paying lots of money to fix my hair. Uyuky has always done my makeup and love her creativity. Vanessa my hairstylist has done my hair coloring and cuts...even bleached my hair for the first time to get the gorgeous red color I have now. Sandy has done my waxing, even tried the sugaring which is gentle on the skin. Thania has done my updos and extensions as well as my daughters hairs. My whole family and several friends have followed and remained clients of theirs now. My experience here was okay. After making my appointment for my hair and makeup months before I called and called and called weeks before to confirm my appointment, no one ever answered so I decided to come in and confirm. The day of my Weeding I was RUSHED. I want to say that I kindaaa liked my makeup but I did not love it.... My hair AND my moms hair (curls fell off really fast) Now looking at the Weeding pictures my hair looks like "I" tried to do it. I was charged a little more to have my hair pulled back a little from the top to hold my veil (which it didn't) she literally just teased it???? -_- I was in such a hurry that I just wanted to go.... And they kept taking WALK INS!! Which was BS because I had an appointment! & "I" had to wait.... & then wait and wait... and then my mom had to wait and wait and wait. I love this place and the girls! I came in one day after looking for someone to fix my hair after a "good" hairstylist left me with green roots. After being a blonde for about a year 1/2 I was ready to completely change my hair color. Uyuki had Thania take a look at me and told me she could fix it. And she did! I've been going ever sense! My makeup was done by Uyuki and she asked and listened to what I wanted and made it happen. My hair was done by Tanya both times she too did a great job at giving me what I imagined.
