This review is LONG overdue (my wedding was in 2022!), but I couldn't let more time pass without giving Betty the glowing praise she deserves!! I planned my wedding in just two months, and one of the best decisions I made during that whirlwind was booking Betty as my makeup artist. From the moment we did the pretrial, I knew I was in great hands. It gave me peace of mind to see how the makeup would wear throughout the day and helped us make some small adjustments--like switching the lipstick, since the first one oxidized a bit. (Pro tip: definitely book the pretrial if you can!) I'm very into skincare and had prepped my skin leading up to the big day, but Betty's talent is what truly brought everything together. My makeup looked flawless, felt lightweight, and lasted all day! I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself. I have zero regrets booking Betty!! She's professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. If I could relive my wedding day just to sit in her chair again, I absolutely would. Betty is worth every penny!
Betty did such an amazing job creating my wedding look. She was really great at incorporating my personal style and any requests for changes made during the trial. The end result was a gorgeous look for my wedding. I never felt more beautiful! Betty is super nice, easy to talk to, and she has literally every product you need for your special day. My skin tone is usually hard to match too, but she was able to blend different foundation colors for a perfect match. I highly recommend Betty!
Getting married is so beautiful and a blessing, sometimes a bit stressful. You want everything to go perfectly. Betty is amazing I have never had my make up done before. I was nervous thinking what if it's too much what if it doesn't come out right, I'm on a tight schedule. From the moment I walked in Betty made feel so relaxed talked me through everything she was doing. She asked me for a picture of what I wanted, boy did she blow me away when she finished. I've seen her work. I've seen her reviews. I knew she was very talented. I just didn't know she could make me look like this. I felt so beautiful only sad part is that I don't think I could ever make myself look like this again. But that's OK. Gives me more reason to go back to her for any occasion. I cant thank Betty enough for her great work in making me look beautiful for my special day. Not only did she glam me up to perfection but the makeup stayed put for hours. The makeup was not cakey looking. I had the right amount of coverage and the contour was just beautiful. I received so many compliments on my makeup and hair. Ladies if you're reading this and want a Hollywood glam look for your hair, get hair extensions. Betty taught me this as I had no idea. Hair came out good but I can see how much better it would have looked with extensions. Also I think it's important to note that I had some scheduling issues but Betty really worked with me and that I really appreciate.
I used Betty November 12,2023 to do mine and my bridal party make up and she made us all feel so beautiful .I wouldn't have chosen anyone else. I chose to do the makeup trial which I totally recommend my makeup came out AMAZING On the day of my wedding I got tons of compliments and with all the dancing and nervous sweat my makeup up stood in place.I also loved the touch up kit to make sure I looked good until my ceremony. I booked Betty about 6 months before my wedding. I absolutely LOVED the style that she was an expert in -- Hollywood Waves. Plus, I really appreciated seeing bold glam on her make-up services portfolio since I didn't want natural glam. I was looking for someone who was bold enough to put me in red lipstick and give me the biggest lashes, but still make me look wedding-ready, and that person was Betty! I did my pre-trial with her in December, and it gave me an amazing preview of what was to come -- not only her technique and skill but the vibe and energy of spending many hours with her too. We got along so well, I think I was in her studio for like 4 hours! So, to me that was a win-win: I was hiring a make-up artist who knew what to do AND was a joy to be around. I noted changes I wanted for the actual day of my wedding, and once my wedding rolled around, she had her notes ready to implement the changes. That morning, her and her team were so efficient and fun to be around. We had a chill morning all getting ready together, and that is exactly what you want the day of your wedding. I met Betty back in 2022 for my cousin's wedding and she also did my makeup again in 2023 for another wedding in my family! She was very organized and on time with everyone! All weddings started in the afternoon and we were done by noon with 7-10 bridesmaids. If you want to look like yourself on your wedding day then get Betty!! She is worth every penny! She will be doing my bridal hair and makeup and my bridesmaids as well for my wedding!! I can't wait for my special day and Betty is the only person I trust for my big day!
Had my makeup done with Betty on my wedding day and was beyond impressed with her services and skills. I had a large bridal party of about 8 ladies and she and her team managed to get us ready in a timely manner with great quality makeup. Makeup and hair by Betty. I could not have wished for a better make up and hair artist! Throughout the entire process, Betty was super responsive and professional. I was never worried about her work, ethics or services. I did go with the make up trial and it was absolutely worth it. I also followed all of her recommendations and my Makeup turned out, absolutely stunning for my wedding, I received so many compliments. It's honestly one of the best investments for your wedding. Betty and her team are amazing. I was looking for a hair and make up artist that would travel to me and my wedding party. I did not want to stress about driving around on my wedding morning. I booked Betty for a wedding makeup trial. Make up didn't feel heavy or cakey and wore really nicely all day. When we had to postpone due to COVID, Betty was accommodating and worked with me while I figured out the new date. When she was unable to do my wedding day makeup, she made sure I was taken care of and made sure her team took care of me and my wedding party. Cindy was great and we all loved our wedding looks!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Beauty by Betty and Co. Betty is truly incredible at what she does. I first went to her studio in Downey for my bridal hair and makeup trial, then again for my civil wedding, and for my big wedding day in January she and her team came to our hotel in Fullerton with a 4:00 AM start time! Not only did they show up bright and early, but they had me and FIVE bridal party members finished by around 8 AM. I was so impressed with how organized and efficient they were. I actually didn't have the best experience with a previous makeup artist before finding Betty. My first trial elsewhere didn't feel like "me," and they weren't accommodating with my early start time or flexible with adding artists for my bridal party. When I messaged Betty back in April for my January 2026 wedding, she responded quickly, was transparent, kind, and confident. She immediately put together a tentative timeline to make sure everyone would be ready on time and told me, "I can do all that for you!" and she truly meant it. My bridal trial with her was AMAZING. It took about four hours, and I walked out feeling absolutely stunning. I wanted a natural, bronzy look with a brown smoked-out eye and half-up, half-down flowy curls -- not too tight. I have a lot of insecurities (especially about my forehead), but Betty made me feel SO beautiful and confident. My hair and makeup lasted all day, and I was honestly speechless. I loved her work so much that I booked her again for my civil wedding in December. This time we did a completely different vibe -- bronzy, smoky, almost Zendaya-inspired with flowy boho waves -- and she nailed it again. She really takes her time perfecting every detail. She even gave me a little pouch with essentials for touch-ups, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm pretty quiet, but she made me feel comfortable, played music, and created such a calm environment while getting me ready. For my big wedding in January, I kept the same look from my preview (minus the spray tan this time -- lesson learned from my civil dress ). I was slightly nervous it wouldn't have the same effect, but WOW it was even better. My entire family, who had seen all my previous looks, said this was the best one yet because it truly emphasized my natural beauty. My eyes popped, my hair looked smooth and flowy, and I felt radiant. My hair and makeup lasted ALL day -- through dancing, sweating, crying -- and I only needed minimal touch-ups. I even went to Disneyland that night with my husband and was still getting compliments! Beyond her talent, I was able to talk with Betty and have meaningful conversations that made our time together feel so short. She created such a comfortable and genuine atmosphere. I truly hope we can work together again in the future -- whether it's another special event in my life or for one of my family members. Thank you so much, Betty, for taking care of me and my family. Betty and her team did an amazing job!! My wedding was Saturday and everyone looked so beautiful!! Betty made my face look flawless! If you need someone to book for your day, she's your girl! My makeup lasted all day and all night through all my dancing! She even gives a little bag to do some touch ups throughout the day to make sure your makeup lasts! 10/10 recommend! I was looking for a MUA for my wedding and I was having a difficult time finding one in the Los Angeles area. I had a friend refer Betty to me. I decided to go on her Instagram to see her work and I absolutely loved it, and thank God I was able to book her. Betty is AMAZING! She is very professional and does a great job. I was unable to do a pre trial last minute, but I gave her a vision of what I wanted to do for my hair and makeup and she exceeded my expectations. She did a soft glam and my loose low bun exactly how I wanted it. I got my make-up done at 6am and my wedding ended at 12am ... it stayed on ALL NIGHT. I also kept getting compliments all day and night about how I looked. She truly made me feel beautiful and confident on my wedding day. I'm usually picky about how my make up looks but she was truly amazing and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for makeup, especially any brides. read more

Where do I begin! Miss victimizing Betty!!! Zero stars was intended! I met Betty for the wedding of my stepmother on 9/23. I really had no complaints or felt like my service was bad. What I will not tolerate is poor advertisement of influencer like content to be used is a negative way WITH MY FACE on it. Betty went ahead and decided (without consent) to use my eyelash extensions to have a basic moment to touch on "HOW TO MAKE HER JOB EASIER". You'd think you get what you pay for right? But I didn't pay to get makeup content taken of my face for "pointers" I've attached her poor choice of words and her negative bullet points to show what is "bad" about extensions. To top it off she didn't do a before and after, just her dragging down my lashes in the video. I VOICED MY FRUSTRATIONS ON MY PERSONAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT AND MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, FUTURE CLIENTS, ALL FELT LIKE SHE CROSSED THE LINE. As I can't control what others do! I asked you to remove the video 3 times and you won't. I never signed any legal document for allowing this content will take legal action if it's not removed. Another pointer is another bridesmaids being BURNED by her other stylists. There are multiple of women ashamed of her actions with filled her comments with sincerity of her removing the post because it was a video of her degrading a PAYING CUSTOMER. Betty by you keeping that video up you are distasteful as mass amount of women collide together to show you were wrong. If you were professional you would've deleted it. Since you don't get many views I see I brought you attention you don't deserve but the next girl deserves to know you record women to bash them. People who know me, know that I don't live with malicious intent. This was uncomfortable for me and I felt like my face was used to show negative things and thoughts. Betty has still not deleted the post and has posted on her story sobbing about those telling her where she went wrong. Betty you need to learn how to put your clients first. She has blocked me! Planning an event can be very stressful and that is why you need a reliable makeup artist because no matter what with Betty your hair and makeup will be beautiful and intact. In addition to being amazing, very professional, very skilled and proficient possessing excellent color perception and artistic ability you can relay on her to do a great job with your hair and makeup. She will enhance your beauty bringing out your best features. I highly recommended her. She does get booked fast because she is so good at her job so plan ahead. I've tried other makeup people and I always ended up going home trying to adjust it or I don't like how caky it look. Don't worry about that with Betty, I got so many compliments and till the end of the night my makeup was still on point. If you have an important event such as wedding quinces or parties or anything special, the only thing we keep is the pictures. Be picture perfect with Betty I know I was. read more

LOVED LOVED Betty's professionalism and services! I recently got my make up AND hair done for my big day on AUG 27! To start off, my hair was exactly what I wanted! Betty worked with me in honoring what my ideal wedding day would look like from the smallest detail (hair piece) to my soft/glam make up! Make up and hair lasted all day all night! I do not wear much make up in my daily life but Betty's work ethic/ professionalism and experience went beyond my expectations and I loved LOVED MY makeup and hair!! Betty and her team are amazing! I had my wedding July 21st and Betty was my makeup artist. She help me, my bridesmaids, and my mother get ready for my special day. She arrive on time and my make up was on point all day. For me it was important to select a makeup artist who was going to satisfy myself but also my bridesmaids and mother. I know how important it is for them to also feel beautiful. With that said all my bridesmaids and mother loved their makeup. I would strongly suggest Betty to anyone for any special makeup occasion. Betty's personality, talent, as well as her professionalism are what make Betty an excellent MUA for any special occasion. Hired her for my July 2019 wedding. She did my makeup & hair along with my mom and some bridesmaids makeup and/or hair. Everyone was pleased with her work. Makeup lasted all night long; I attached some pictures (last one is the at the end of the night). I was a newbie with professional makeup, especially with this being my first time having fake eyelashes, but Betty understood and made me comfortable and gave me a few tips. She also gave me a little touch up kit for the night. I would recommend her to anyone & looking forward to working with her in the future. She made me look and feel so beautiful on my special day. I can't tell you how much happiness I felt on the day of the wedding! Betty made me, my matron of Honor, my bridesmaids and my mom look and felt very beautiful. She came in on time and made sure each and everyone of us are satisfied. Our make-up and hair stayed up throughout the night (even until the next day since I got too drunk and fell asleep without taking them off). My family and friends kept complementing all of us how stunning and flawlessly beautiful we all look that night! During the pretrial, I didn't know what look I was going for, but she made it so easy for me to find the perfect one. I live in Granada hills and traveled all the way in Downey for the pretrial, but it's all good since she is worth it! I found her on ig since I figured it is the best way to find a good make-up artist. She is not just talented but also her price is reasonable compare to the other ones that are super pricey! I was lucky to come across Betty through instagram when I begun my search for a make up artist for my wedding. Her before and after pictures are what convinced me to give her a chance and I am so glad I did. Every bride she worked on looked so beautiful on their special day so I decided to schedule my make up trial almost a year before my actual wedding. I knew it was too far in advance but I didn't want to wait too long and run the risk of her not being available for my wedding date. Betty was the second make up artist I tried and from the very first day I met her, she listened to what I wanted. I had such a bad experience with the first make up artist but with Betty I was satisfied and happy with the results. I was so pleased that I booked her to do my make up for my engagement photo shoot. Betty did an awesome job with my make up and hair on my wedding day. She also did my maid of honor's make up and some of my bridesmaids and they were all happy with her work.
