The mats had become so tight that they were pulling at his skin and causing real discomfort. Catherine at Paws Required Grooming Salon was an absolute angel. She approached Rocky with patience, gentleness, and deep understanding. Even with some growling and kicking (understandably!), she was able to safely and skillfully remove the most painful mats. What stood out just as much was her kindness and willingness to educate us throughout the process. You can truly feel the care and experience here. They also offer the TheraClean treatment, which is a huge bonus for pets needing extra skin and coat support. One of the things I appreciate is they pay attention changes in them the Std.s are 13 & 14 years old so lumps and missing fur that I might overlook they point out. They all received their annual shots shortly before their last Grooming and one of the younger Pups had swollen area on her left shoulder, it was small and I would have missed it. I showed it to the Vet and it's not a problem but they care about the Dogs and I know you do not get that everywhere. .

She is, I have no delusions about that. She has actually been traumatized by one of the grooming shops I used to take her to, where she was treated like she was on an assembly line, being passed from one employee to another. But, from the moment I walked in Aja was gentle yet firm and took her time to really get to know my the Schatzinstor and put her at ease, earning Schatzi's trust as well as mine. Schatzi and Polo now have a new groomer. I couldn't be happier!
