4.75* if star system allowed!!!! We no longer live in the area but realized had never written a 'well deserved' review. When we went there last year, it was a very clean, spacious, and a VERY well run facility with a nice staff. Our two mini Goldendoodles loved having play days here, as you could see their excitement every time, from the minute we'd pull into the parking lot to drop them off. Felt very much at at peace when we had to leave our boys behind for 10 days away, and upon return found some very clean, well groomed, excited, healthy, and happy pups. Staff was very proactive in sending pics of our boys while away as requested. Would of given 5 stars but I try to be transparent and honest to always leave room for improvement. The ONLY thing we were not fully comfortable with was being told that on overnight stays, the last potty outing before bed every evening, would be 6 to 7 pm. They have small bladders and felt having to hold it for 12 hours is just quite too much for them. We know this because we know our boys. Unfortunately they wouldn't budge on this but we decided, our boys would be exhausted enough from all the play all day, they'd sleep soundly through the night, and all the pro's of this facility far outweighed mommie and daddy's minor concern. We also got to meet and talk to the owner which is not something you come across often in places and she is very sweet, professional, and un-rushed to spend time talking and answering any questions you may have. We concluded in trusting the facilities protocols and how they managed the facility, being more of the experts in this field. Our boys also just absolutely loved coming here so we based it on their response upon visits and every time they kept coming back. They loved coming to Lush Dog Resort. Barley even a one star. I sent my dog to lush puppy and my dog got attacked by another dog. My dog is suffering from multiple injuries resulting in having a draining tube. This is so unprofessional of lush puppy. They wont tell me the owner of the dog that attacked mine. Neither the dogs owner or lush puppy will pay for my dogs injuries or will own up to what happen. Definitely don't recommend sending your furry friends there. read more

been bringing my dogs to lush puppy since about 2012, the day they don't want to go in i will know but all these years all my dogs jump out of car and walk to gate! the place is clean and new and no real grass to dig dirt up with. the helpers are wonderful with the dogs. the only place i would leave them that i am comfortable with ! i am KIP and Rebas mom. read more

Well this is the only place I want to leave my girls. I've been boarding here since Lush Puppy opened and couldn't be happier today. We used to travel a lot more but this is always our first choice for boarding and grooming. It's spotlessly clean, well managed (even though they are tough about certain things it's for our own good) and so very safe. Our pets always leave happy, tired and clean. We are looking forward to utilizing the new building and are hoping for some agility classes as well. I can't wait until our youngest is old enough to be spayed so that she can join in the fun. We left our precious Maltese dog in their care. She was viciously attacked by two other small dogs. My vacation was immediately over. It was devastating to see my poor girl hurt. about a year ago we checked this place out because a few people recommended it and after taking the tour it seemed like a fun and safe place for our dog. It is such a SCAM....my dog went for day care a few times and was totally traumatized - please note this was not her first time in day care she had been going to another local place and NEVER had an issue. We scheduled grooming for her one day and she ended up with a nosebleed - she NEVER has nosebleeds during grooming. I would be very careful if you take your dog here, it seemed over crowded with not enough supervision. We will not return! read more

We have been taking our Brittany Spaniel, Oscar, to Lush Puppy for the past year, and I can't say enough good things about Allison and her staff. They are simply exceptional. I know that Oscar is loved, played with and cared for from the moment I drop him off to the moment I pick him up. A friendly place to go take your dog when you're not around. We have used Lush Puppy for both daycare and boarding. The staff always give us a report as to how my dog behaved, she comes home tired (which is good for an energetic dog) and they've manager to get us in for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Terrible place. I'm very disappointed with this place and I've spent so much time looking for a good dog sitter. This place certainly does take a good care of our little friends. My little boy was abused by our dogs the very first time I took him there. The second time I came to pick him up I got his bed and the blanket and some other stuff full of pees. My dog is not a puppy and doesn't pee on his things unless you leave him obviously for ours and ours... But...I decided to give them the last chance and my dog was starved when I brought him home. His eyes were crazy hungry and I never saw him eating so much food before. Poor thing. I said: never again. Even though the place does look like some vacation home, in reality, people seem don't really care about our little ones. Looking for another sitter, if anyone has one, please recommend. read more

My Cooper LOVES this place for Day Care. He is a very energetic Golden Doodle and wants to play non-stop. When he comes home, he literally collapses from having so much fun running with the big pups. It's definitely a worthy expense for him and me! Right now, they are in the midst of expanding...so it is difficult to fit him in without at least a week's notice. Hopefully, once the renovations are complete, I will be able to have more flexibility with bringing Cooper in with shorter notice. read more

The facility is also increasingly clean, smells great and my dog is never dirty when I pick her up. When we dropped off our dogs at Lush Puppy for three days while we went out of town, we thought they would have a fantastic time. The place appeared to be a haven for dogs to stay and have fun. The first night they were there, we received a call from Lush Puppy saying that our dog, Maverick, had been in a dog fight with a few other dogs but that he was okay. They said they were going to keep him segregated for the rest of his days there, but someone would still watch him. Two days later, I received a call because Maverick had a bloody area that needed to be looked at. The girl on the phone told me that she had called our vet but "they are unavailable to see Maverick today and I have to take him in today." Therefore I agreed she could bring him to her vet. She later called to say that he "needed a couple stitches and this was most likely due to a cyst that ruptured." After hanging up with the woman, I immediately began to think about it and realized that my dog does not have a cyst. AND a cyst is not something that just comes up out of nowhere and explodes. I immediately called my vet to ask them about it, and they said no one ever called them from Lush Puppy. My vet said they had several openings and could have taken him. All of the staff in my vets office confirmed that Lush Puppy did not call them at all that day. Immediately a red flag went up. We came home early to get our dogs and Maverick's "cyst" that he needed "a couple stitches" was now an incision 6 INCHES LONG. We called their vet and he said there "is no way that it was a cyst" after the owner told us that it was. Clearly this business is shady and hiding what really happened. Lush Puppy claims to have someone on sight at all times to watch over the dogs, yet their own vet said Maverick had an infection for the previous 2 days he was staying there. We took him to the vet right before coming to Lush Puppy and he was perfect then. So why did he come back from Lush Puppy with 9 stitches and an infection?? The owner refuses to let us watch the cameras to see how bad the dog fight really was and she has not been able to prove to us that she did call our vet. I would NEVER recommend anyone trusting the people of Lush Puppy Pet Resort with their pets. read more

Have used lush puppy numerous times and was always satisfied but after my frenchies last visit I felt they went above and beyond. I was out of the country for a week so communication was limited. Unfortunately my dog was sick and needed to go to the vet a few times over the stay. All of the staff were great. Made me feel so much better about being away knowing that he was being taken care of. They kept me very updated and even went to pick up his prescriptions. Would highly recommend! read more

Not only do they go there for when I am out of town , but they visit L.P. 3 times a week for Daycare.I cannot compliment the staff, enough. They are exceptional.
