I found a Pomeranian who was in need of some serious TLC after her adventure away from home and Alli was so accommodating on such short notice. Immediately upon walking in, Alli and Angela recommended the appropriate cut/fluff to get the pup looking the way she should. Not only that, they were so generous and kind beyond words! I felt so confident and comfortable leaving the pup there for grooming. They did a fantastic job and in a timely fashion. I've taken my Poms to numerous groomers, Posh Paws is by far one of the best I've entrusted my pups to be groomed at! The "Spa" was clean, organized and I was welcomed immediately. Mr. Bitters had mats and required extra attention, but after a few hours and two groomers later he looked great!! He had perfect "cat paws," his undercoat was perfectly brushed and puffed, his hind quarters trimmed and flanked expertly. Still loving Angela! We brought in our second baby, a tiny, 3-lb Maltese mix rescue who's incredibly fragile and is essentially our "infant" (we're both overprotective of her as we'd been through a lot with this fur baby since bringing her into our home). Along with the pup, we'd brought in a few images of the hairstyle we wanted Angela to try on her ("Korean Clip"). It's a very uncommon trim style in these parts and we didn't expect Angela to have done it before (despite the fact that she has MANY years of experience under her belt). She was very upfront with us about the fact that she hadn't tried it before, but promised she'll do her best. Well... two hours later, we came back to an absolutely perfect groom, just the way we'd envisioned it! Our little girl was well cared for, clean, and looked happy as could be waiting for us to pick her up (Angela was actually dressing her so she wouldn't get cold, since she's always shivering). Top notch care at this place, super clean... just perfect, couldn't be more excited to have found Posh Paws in this area! Have bee there a few times because I don't like taking my dogs to new groomers. The first 3 times they could not find my name in the system, had no idea who groomed my dogs. I wrote down exactly what I wanted done and they still did not follow my directions. Thought I would give them one last chance because I don't like to stress out my dogs with new people all the time. Left a message to make an appointment and no one had the respect to even return my call. Do not recommend. They are also at least 10 dollars more a dog than anyone else in the area and they can't even follow directions or return phone calls or keep up with their customers. Big thumbs down !!! read more

We have been taking our little morkie to several groomers in the area for the past 5 years, but have never gotten the kind of cut we were hoping for. Found Posh Paws on google, and after reading the reviews on yelp decided to give them a try. Not only did they get him in within the week, he turned out exactly the way I had hoped he would. Other groomers said he was difficult, but Shaya told me he was great and very sweet. She was so good with him from the minute we walked and explained everything she was going to do. Traveling through here with our Shih Tzu who needed grooming. What I like was that I could bring her and they started on her right at that time and called when she was finished. Took 2 3/4 hours for the full grooming. They don't need the dog to be there all day. They asked about everything I needed done and were very careful about all the little issues that sometimes a 9 year old dog might have. You do need to schedule in advance and allow 4-5 days to get an appointment. read more

4th time at this spa for our black lab Willie- although they were accommodating and got him in short notice- they couldn't find any paperwork for us and it felt like starting over with a stranger. I just returned from a trip & have had a pet sitter/house sitter who disappointed to say the least. I explained that Willie needed some extra TLC and that he would most likely be anxious. I called an hour in and I asked how much longer it would be as I was told to expect 2 hours- whoever I spoke with kind of laughed and said haha yes give or take. So I arrived an hour later and found him in a cage. When I asked how he did- she told me he had been "noisy"- which is never an adjective I'd imagine used to describe our dog- whiny (wondering where we are)yes- noisy? Anyway- he seemed very excited to leave- which is to be expected. But...he acted almost lethargic on the ride home & once we got inside he literally drank water for 3 minutes straight. Don't put my dog in a cage after you've been grooming him for 2 hrs without any water! Every dog should have water in their cages- regardless! Unacceptable! Won't be back. read more
