Amazing! Sue is now my regular groomer. I have a very difficult and untrusting dog and Sue did an amazing job with her. By the end, my dog completely trusted and loved Sue. Her schedule is very flexible and she's a no BS type of woman. The site is on her property and you walk in her home, down the stairs to the basement where she will be welcoming your dog. Sue runs her business in her country home. My dog was very relaxed around her prior to entering her house. In fact, when she went to take him in, he walked in without any hesitation, like it was totally normal to enter a stranger's home. We talked about his grooming needs beforehand and she said she would do what the dog needed as she was well-versed in this particular type of coat. He came out looking fantastic and was still happy, even though he does not like getting bathed. Sue is very friendly and I look forward to my dog's next visit. I was so disappointed when I picked up my 2 cockers. They were completely shaved down - I DID NOT request or expect that. Sue said they were matted. My daughter had just combed out one cocker three days before and he was not matted when Sue got them on April 22. I all my to years of owning many cockers this is the worst job yet. Makes me so sad to look at my dogs. read more

Wonderful woman who did a great job on my fur babies. I very much appreciated her squeezing in all three of my dogs before a holiday.

She is honestly a great person and she means well but the basement of her house isn't the best place (smashed my head twice walking down and up the stairs) but as for the area and the grooming my dog is clean but he is still leaving a trail of hair everywhere he goes and just want what I wanted I had to come home and brush him myself for an hour. If you are just looking for a bath go here prepare yourself for the basement and the super sweet lady. read more

My poor Golden Retriever received a complete hack job today at Sue's Grooming. Her stomach was shaved unevenly and in some places down to the skin after being asked to just "trim" her. I will not be returning and am very disappointed in how bad my dog looks. read more

Sue obviously knows what she's doing. She is very nice. My dog came backing looking and smelling good. Now, her place is in the basement of her older house. It's not the cleanest place. And do watch your head going down the stairs. She got us in same day. I don't know if she takes cards, I just paid cash. Pot holed dirt road going to the house, don't keep fine China in the car. She said she always squeezes arse. Apparently Cinnamon's anal glands were full. I plan on getting my other dogs groomed there in the future. read more

The Pro: I believe she really loves animals. The Cons: the grooming area is extremely filthy. The chairs have fur an inch thick on them. Clearly they've never been cleaned. She pulled out a filthy towel to put over my cat to calm her. It was so filthy that it was stiff. It also had a wad of old dried rice fall off of it. I shuttered and told her to get it away from my cat. She then proceeded to take a cat muzzle out of the drawer as a safety measure before she shaved the cat. Mind you it was in the drawer., were you'd think supplies are clean and ready to go. When she pulled it out, a wad of curly black fur fell out of the mask- my cat is buff. Clearly she does not clean her supplies, EVER. Filthy, filthy. As for the cut? It wasn't even or complete and she didn't even bathe her. Some parts of her fur long, some short. I question her credentials as to the grooming. There is NO question as to the filthy conditions she grooms in. Be warned. read more
