My dog has never been left for 8 hours without a potty break. They make the dogs wait from 6pm till the following morning at 6am. That left her bedding heavily soiled. One whole strip at the edge of bedding is missing and sewn up. They tried to tell me it was already like that. And it was not. In their defense she likes it here for daycare and sometimes wants to stay longer. read more

A few times after our dog left the resort he had to be treated for Kennel Cough. Ok, lots of dogs getting together, that happens. The last time our dog went, we were on our way home to get him when we received a call from them saying our lab bit another dogs ear off. Not only bit another dog, but ran across the room and attacked the dog for no reason. We were of course freaked out because he's never shown signs of aggression and we have a the 4 year old at home. We asked how the other dog was and was met with "you're responsible for any bills of the injured dog!" We received another call from them on the road the saying the manager was coming in to look at the tape, but our dog had blood all over him, so, they knew what happened. We get a call from the vet where the other dog is being treated saying the owners saw the footage and they are paying the bill because their dog started the fight. We then get another call from Posh saying they reviewed the tapes and our dog not only didn't bite the other dog, wasn't even involved in the fight. You'd think they'd check their tape before worrying families and having them question if they can keep their pet, but, I digress. My wife went in to pick up the dog and asked if we would receive any discount off our bill and we were told no, but we could get a free upgrade on the next stay. Yeah, he's never going back there. POSH- pet resort made fantastic use of their enrichment activities, far more than what we were expecting. They knew we would be in and out with their services, however they still provided the extra attention to ensure Gidget was happy during her short time at the resort. Gidget is familiar with day care, so she truly appreciated the one on one attention she received. When we are back to see family again, and Gidget needs some time away from us, we will be using POSH! read more

If I could give a negative review I would. This is for the location in Moline. My daughter started taking her pup there and it was good for like a week then she went to pick her up Feb. 13,2024 and she was covered in urine. It was all over her hair, up around head on her back. It was disgusting. She called to talk to management about and was told she/him would call and nothing. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I have given Posh many , many chances for me not to have to leave a bad review but here we are. We have taken our pup there for almost two years minor problems in the very beginning, kept taking her back and the same issues have been happening. NO STAFF , means no care for the overload amount of dogs they take in on a daily basis. We have over and over asked them to clean up our dog if she is wet ( they keep telling me right before I pick her up that she "just" spilled her water ) when in fact she is totally covered in pee and has poop all over her backside! She is not even cleaned up ! Keep in mind our dog has been crate trained and house broken from the age of 2-3 months and has had 0 accidents in our home and we started to let her have run of our whole house at 9 months . I picked her up today and guess what .... Same thing soaked in pee to the point that the gal working didn't even let me see her and told me she was wet from pee and was going to " spray her down " really ! Give her a bath ( which I will now have to do ) after I brought my dog home from Posh wet and it's freezing outside !!! I'm done , no more apologies now more wet ( pee) soaked. Other dog owners please be ware! So unhappy for what we thought was a great place in the beginning! P.S we stopped overnight boarding there over a year ago due to no help and not enough care for our dog! We are now done with doggy daycare as of today ! DO BETTER POSH !!!! read more

I have tried both Eldridge and 18th street locations. 2 times I've picked my dog up from Eldridge and he's been sick. Throwing up and diarrhea. (Come to find out that they were over feeding him) even though you fill out paperwork stating how much to feed and at what times. I picked him up from the 18th street location and his fur was all matted down, sticky, and smelt like urine. As if he went to the bathroom in his kennel and they had let him lay in it all day. At least let me know when I come to pick up my dog if something had happened during his stay rather than taking my money and sending me on my way. Ive called to ask questions and they always give me round about answers instead of being straight forward. There is 0 communication from the employees and I will never take my dog there nor will I recommend this company to anyone. read more

This place is horrible. The person we normally board was going to be out of town so we had to find a new place. Stopped in and it was DISGUSTING. No nice way to put it. The facility teamed of bleach so bad after 15 minutes there I had a migraine. During the tour there was feces laying on the floor in rooms where a few dogs were individually set, and the kenneling was literally done with the $45-$50 metal wire ones that can be bought at menards. To make matters much worse they were stacked on top of each other, so in an instance where an upper dog had an accident it was a waterfall effect going all over the animals on the bottom. The only way to describe this place is a PUPPY PENITENTIARY. They only reason to take your animal here is if deep down you hate it.. no animal deserves this kind of set up. read more

Don't recommend. Tried it out and both dogs got pink eye after day camp. Staff was very unprofessional during both morning drop off and afternoon pickup. Didn't ask for our vacc records, didn't ask for our contact information, and when we called later got the answering machine three times. Might be OK for some people but too many red flags for me. read more

My dogs were there for a week. They have been there before for boarding and we didn't have any issues. This time both our our dogs came home with gunk in their eyes and the next day start coughing. Turns out they both have kennel cough! Both of my dogs have been vaccinated. I spoke to someone else who had taken their dogs there and they needed up with the same issue. So not only did I have to pay for boarding but I had to turn and pay a hefty vet bill and pay for medication for them. Not exactly what I wanted to do after being gone due to a death in the family. Needless to say my dogs WILL NOT be going there again! read more

My husband and I love to travel, so often we need to leave our cat and dog in a kennel. This time our choice was to use Beaston Camp kennel (Posh) in Eldridge IA, which we very much regretted... Couple hours later after we landed in Las Vegas we received a message on our cell phone from the manager, Jolene, where in a uncompromising way, she said that we have to pick up our Pomeranian dog from the kennel immediately as they could not get him to come out of his cage. What??? At this point we realized that this kennel does not respect their customers and our vacation was completely ruined. The staff had a very unprofessional attitude. I want to note that this is the first time this has happened to us in over 5 years. We just wanted to try your kennel and were very disappointed. Upon our return to pick up our animals, we were horrified at their condition. Our little dog could not get up as his legs seemed stiff from lying too long a time in the cage and he was shaking. I asked the staff what happened to him? They said he never left the cage... For the entire 5 days???... Inside the cage he was laying in his urine... Our cat was hiding under his bed and crying...We've never seen this before. Now we have to give them sedative drops as they can't sleep. After all we want to say that the staff was very indifferent and cruel and we have already told all our friends who also have animals. read more

I absolutely love this location for our little puppy. It is a very clean and well maintained kennel. It DOES NOT have that dirty dog smell and you are allowed to take tours of the place. The staff takes very good care of our little fur baby and spoils her. Your pets will love it here and you will know they are taken care of. I would recommend this business. read more

I do not recommend using this place for daycamp for your dog. I used them for the first 6 months of my puppies life until an incident happen between two dogs and the way it was handled was poor to say the least. Only one owner was contacted, the other was not until she came to pick up her dog and was handed a vet bill for the other dog. She asked to see an incident report or a vide to see exactly what happen since this is not normal behavior for her dog. They would not allow either and the business owner would not speak to her over the phone, only through email where the story changed three times. During that time the business owner told this dog owner to go find another daycare if she didn't like the way the business was ran. This is a customer who had taken her dog there for over a year every day and some weekends. Terrible customer service and your animals well being is not their first priority! read more
