My dog LOVES Animal Playground! He hates to be left alone for long, so if we are going on a weekend trip, a full vacation, or just need a day to get some work done, we bring him to Animal Playground! The people there love pets as much as we do, so we can be assured that our baby will be well cared for. He gets really excited when we arrive and doesn't even give us a backwards glance as he drags the staff toward the play area. He doesn't really seem to be ready to leave when we come to pick him up, either. They will also bathe your dog if you wish. We used to take our dog with us when we traveled, but he loves Animal Playground so much, we figure he deserves a vacation of his own! read more

Not a place for small dogs. They lump small dogs with big dogs. Ours is 12 pounds and others were close to 100 pounds. Uhhm, NO!!! Also, a dog tried to bite her while we there. I was told that dog is a puppy. I said that puppy is already twice my dogs size. He also says it works best if all size dogs are together. Im guessing because he can have less staff if all are together. Its a NO from us and if you have a small dog I would stay away too. read more

My dog has been going to Animal Playground to be groomed for some time now, and yesterday was the SECOND time that she's been returned to us injured. The first time they knicked her on her back and she wouldn't let us touch OR EVEN REACH for her for weeks! Now just yesterday, they've returned her and she is unable to put ANY amount of weight on her back leg!!!!! The poor baby is hobbling around on three legs. She is a very docile and relaxed dog so I am 100% certain she wouldn't be giving the groomer any hell to the extent that she would be getting injured... Not to mention the haircut is shitty. First time is an accident, second time is just careless. We will never be returning to do any type of business with this organization and I would recommend to others to be very weary of this "groomer". read more

THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND Our chocolate labrador Leela is a regular at Animal Playground for the last two years. They really love her and treat her as if she was their own. That means a lot to us. However....the other day we found ourselves caught in a snowstorm traveling back home from a holiday trip and our pick up window to get Leela out of her boarding there was dwindling. We missed her terribly and were not keen to have her stay another night. We wanted to have her home. The trainer working at the time, Ken, had been to our house for some personal training earlier that year, and when I called him to let him know we were trying desperately to get there before Animal Playground closed, I just threw it out there that it would be easier all around if somehow she could just "show up" at our house. We never expected Ken to actually do it! I know that the circumstances were incredibly extreme (7 inches of snow, cars all over the highway, terribly bad weather) but Ken indeed brought Leela to us, saving us from driving further in dangerous weather and allowing everyone to be safe. Ken and the rest of Animal Playground could not be easier to work with and we are eternally grateful. read more

Great doggy daycare and boarding as well as grooming!! Dogs pull their owners through the door because they're so excited to come play.

I board my dogs here often. I know my dogs like it because when I drop them off they are super excited to leave me and go play. They are reasonably priced and include doggy play time. Most other places charge extra. I always purchase a bath and nail trim so my dogs come back home smelling good and nails short. Not sure what they do because my dogs never let me trim their nails! They even have online cameras so you are able to monitor your dog when they are there. read more

I was in town from ATL and brought my two year old chihuahua beagle mix to board at this facility over the weekend. I will absolutely never trust this place with another one of my pets again. I dropped my dog off with a bag of food and his favorite bone. He was wearing his winter coat and a harness over it. When I picked him up TWO DAYS later he still had on the same coat and harness. I was informed it was never removed because "most owners like everything left on", which is absolutely ridiculous and infuriating. I know that was so uncomfortable for him and I was never asked my opinion regarding this. The bone and bag of food I left for him looked to be untouched. As soon as he was let outside he urinated right in front of the door for (no exaggeration) about two minutes straight and was so thirsty he started drinking the rain water he had just peed in . In the process of peeing, he saturated his coat which proves to me he held his pee since I dropped him off two days prior. I doubt my dog has been taken out, fed, given water to or had any type of attention during his entire stay and I can't regret giving this place my money anymore than I do at this very moment. read more

I was very disappointed with the service provided for my Standard Poodle, Penny. We dropped her off with specific instructions on how we wanted her groomed & those instructions were completely ignored, on top of it being a very choppy & uneven groom. Penny's "private" areas were not cleaned or trimmed, there were gouges in her fur all over her body, her topknot (fluffy part on top of her head) was completely shaved, even though there wasn't a single mat in it when we dropped her off, her ears were shaved down almost to the skin, & her tail was also shaved almost to the skin. Her feet were shaved, but long fur is still there between her toes, her eyelashes are a mess & falling into her eyes. The grooming service was absolutely unacceptable. Evelyn claimed she's been a groomer for decades, but never said she didn't have experience with Standard Poodles. Very disappointing experience. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else ever again. I have a little 5 month old Yorkie that I have been taking to Animal Playground ever since I brought him home! He LOVES this place, and honestly I feel guilty if I don't take him, because he has made a best friend there! Since he is a smaller dog, he is segregated in a play area with dogs his own size which makes me very comfortable. Employees have even sent me videos of him playing during the day. He has always been well taken care of and the minute I say "do you want to go see the puppy's today", he gets so excited. I have also had him groomed twice by Lauren at their facility and I have been super happy with his grooms. The staff is always pleasant and the facility is very clean. read more

Animal Playground Do not take your dogs here if you love them. I have pictures of my urine & feces encrusted dogs after a stay at this facility. I had to throw away all their toys & blankets. Used to be a great place before the current owners took over. I have 2 smaller dogs and they looked as if the larger dogs urinated all over them. Put the first one in the bathtub. ( half way full of water) and the water turned yellow. I was devastated !!! My other poor dog was equally filthy. read more

I took my dog to Animal Playground over thanksgiving break because my usual boarding spot was full for the week. I dropped her off with her food and antibiotics then explained to the owners she she was to take 2 each day and even had a note written in her bag with the specific instructions. When I picked her up and returned home i noticed that only 1 caplet had been given to her and the rest remained unopened in her bag. This goes to show that she was not given individual attention and cared for like she should have been. I am frustrated with their lack of service especially since I was paying more than her usual boarding spot. I wanted to like Animal Playground since it was closer and more convenient but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

I have been taking my puppy here for months. He loves it there always happy. He loves seeing his Favorite people every day. We even asked for Minion to be trained here . Minion has learned so much with Bob. Bob is a True Dog whisperer . everyday he comes home better and better. I couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to try out the amazing groomers there also.
