Posh Sushi & Grill, it is in the name. Posh means smart, elegant, or fashionable; exclusive according to the dictionary, and the menu has more than sushi. They serve international dishes such as the Argentinian empanadas, which were delightful as appetizer, and of course sushi, fresh, tasty, and filling. This is the first time I had sushi with 4 sauces, instead of the wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. The service is classy, and there is a posh atmosphere, in the good sense. I really enjoyed my meal and stay, I didn't feel rushed, and really spent some quality time here with my new made friends in Laredo.

Great service and amazing sushi and poke bowls. Had the tuna and salmon poke bowl with seaweed salad today. Absolutely best!

Posh sushi is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Laredo Texas. In fact, it's the only restaurant i recommend that offers authentic style sushi. The ambiance is very chic and sophisticated that it brightens your mood. Moreover, I ordered the fresh Nissi Roll and let me tell you, you are in for a surprise. The roll has fresh eel, avocado and other ingredients which makes this roll very fresh, spicy and tasty. The service is fast and was over please with my visit. 5 stars to you guys. -P.S. don't forget to try their Yakimeshi rice. Yum.

    Roll sooo much mayo

I really wanted to love this place! Cool vibe not over priced BUT it was difficult to eat. The surimi (crab meat) has soooo much mayo i couldn't eat it. My poke bowl was good fish was good and fresh until I got to that had to take it off and I love surimi. My roll was the same couldn't eat it.

Let me begin by stating I'm not the biggest sushi fan but you got to eat something different every now and then right? I started with some pork egg rolls and they were pretty good. You're given 3 rolls cut in half. The egg rolls were very good with the sauce. After finishing the appetizer I got started on the sushi. For anyone who isn't an adventurous eater, this roll may be the one for you. This roll contained Fried shrimp, cream cheese, avocado and rice. With the help of the spicy mayo, I finished my roll quickly. If I had to complain about anything it would be the chicken fried rice I ordered to compliment my sushi. It did not taste good at all and had a strange flavor to it.

Hello, I'm in Laredo, Texas, so I wasn't expecting the breeze from Okinawan shorelines eating here. The outdoor patio dining areas are nice but full so I ate inside. Nice place yet not a fan of the fake Dusty flowers above everyone's head. I had 3 different waitresses at one point, so I ended with too many cups of water.. I ordered 3 items for dinner. I went with Gyozas, a lobster roll, and a spicy Tuna bowl.. Oh man! I love gyozas! It was the first thing that arrived on my table! I must say I felt like a kid who was promised ice cream and got sherbert instead. Major let down since they were served on a large plate tossed over some wilted greens. Gyozas are simple! Line it up on a small wooden plank and Bada Bing! Next up was the Lobster Roll.. The most expensive roll on the menu so expectations were high.. I must say it was good yet I could taste everything but the Lobster.. Yeah a bummer I know I'm the one who ate it.. It was slathered with some light green avacoado sauce, which was nice but too much of it.. Not worth the scharole!! Last but not least! The last hope! Was the Tuna Poke Bowl.. I'm glad I ordered this because it was fantastic. Fatty Tuna! Which they didn't skimp on! Fresh seaweed, beautiful 1/8th of an inch slices of Avocado all over a scrumptious bed of rice mixed with crab meat.. It was delicious! It was everything I didn't even know I was craving. The Tuna was fresh and cut into Quater inch cubes.. When everything was going wrong they hit it out of the park.. Will I go back? Probably not, but if I ever do I'm going with the bowl.. Plus they asked me if I want a fork to eat my food? What do I look like? A savage?

This is a very solid three. Place has good food and decent service. We arrived and were asked to sit where ever we wanted. As usual, this is in no means an authentic sushi restaurant. This is a Tex Mex sushi restaurant. The place itself looks really nice and cute for a date. We ordered waters and they came out rather quickly, it was then when they told us their head chef had stepped out and any sushi order would be getting started in about 20 minutes. We said we would order an appetizer and wait, luckily we didn't have anywhere to be. We ordered an Agua Chile De Camarón and a Villareal Roll as well as a Kamasutra Roll. The lady once more apologized and said she was sorry of the wait ahead of time. As she walked towards the back she asked a helped if he knew how to make the rolls we ordered he in a very unsure voice said something along the lines of.. "kind of". A lot of time passed, maybe about 15 minutes and our appetizer came out. The agua chile looked very, thick. Typically you want it to be juicy and watery, literally Agua means Water, this was more like a paste on the shrimp. It tasted alright. The sushi's came out shortly after. Great presentation, but quality lacked. It was obvious this was not made by their main guy. My sushi was flat out cold (it was suppose to be warm" and my brothers was warm and it was supposed to be cold.

Seated immediately. Drink order taken quickly. Entree order taken quickly. Metal silverware paper napkins, real plates. Music inside was good but a little loud for me. Tuna tartar was my appetizer. Looked awesome. Tuna, salmon, avocado over a bed of rice. Very good MyGrilled salmon entree was excellent. Salmon was crisp on the outside and juice inside. Asparagus and avocado that came with it were pretty standard. It was a bit frustrating that my waitress spoke not a word of English. Could not answer any menu questions and never offered to get another staff member who could. She never brought my check and just cleaned my plates and left. I had to go to the bar and pay after waiting for 15 minutes for her to return. When I told the lady at the register she just said sorry, she is on break. Overall decent food, poor service, and a language barrier if you do it speak Spanish.

    Sashimi Platter

The 12-piece sashimi platter is a dish we order regularly, though on one certain occasion the fish had been cut wrong making it impossible to eat. It was really quite a shame to waste good sashimi over improper technique on staff's part. The Mexican aguachile served here is highly recommended, although they leave the tails on the shrimps which is a big annoyance. The yakisoba special had way more meat than noodles while being overpowered by sesame oil. The fresh Vegas Roll has no rice which makes it the go-to because it has an almost melt-in-your mouth quality to it. We didn't like the baked Nissi Roll too much as it was mushy. If eating inside, the waiters are usually easy to flag down when you feel like you're being ignored but sitting outside (though the patio is nice) you don't really have that luxury.

Naturally, I was a little hesitant to go to an upscale Argentinean Steakhouse in Laredo TX with "OK" reviews. Still, my girlfriend and I were in the mood for a good steak, so we said "Ehh, what the heck." The ambience was very elegant but not so upscale so as to make you feel like you are out of place. We were immediately greeted and sat down. I liked the detail where you were able to see the kitchen from the dining area through a large window. Very cool. I had the old fashioned, which was true to its original form, and very good. Starting with the bread. Perfect crunch on the outside with a warm soft inside. We then had an order of the beef empanadas. My goodness, those little things were amazing! For our main course, we shared the bone in ribeye and the octopus. It's hard to find an octopus that doesn't have an overwhelming "rubbery" texture. It was so good. Perfectly seasoned. The way it was finished on the grill put it over the top. The steak was seasoned with all a good piece of meat needs: Salt and pepper. I loved that. The meat was cooked so perfectly, that you could pull it apart with your fingers. It was so juicy and flavorful! Delicious! I would put this steak up against almost any steakhouse in Houston. When I sent my compliments to the chef, he came out and personally thanked us for coming out. Once we got the bill, we were surprised by how little we paid for drinks, appetizers, and two main course meals. I would highly recommend you try this place and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

The inside is whatever there's nothing special about it looks like any other place. Our waiter was so nice. He went above and beyond for us. We started with the escargot and I have to say it was OK. It was a little bland. It definitely was missing more flavor to it and it was weird that it didn't come with bread or anything. We also got the tuetano with beef tartar on top of it. It was a huge disappointment. The bone had not been cooked completely and was very fiber and the beef tartar just tasted really off pudding just like raw meat instead of it bean seasoned and marinated the way it should be. We had to send it back for it to get cooked for the bone and when they brought it back, it was still the same thing so they ended up removing it from our check. After this, I did get a cup of the asparagus soup and I have to say that was really nice. Then I got the American ribeye since they were out of the Argentina ribeye which is a disappointment. I had asked for a medium. It came cooked more than medium and it was weird how light colored it was and it just tasted like a typical steak nothing really special to it. The baked potato was whatever. Now the portobello mushrooms and wine sauce that was really delicious. I don't think I would come back here just cause there was nothing really special about it. Also, I hate to say this, but I did eat a little bit of that beef tartar to try it and I'm assuming that's what upset my stomach cause the next day, I was not well.

The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service. As a restaurant professional in California, I can't figure out if it's just a Texas thing or they rate everything high or this restaurant truly is deserving of its accolades..
