Worst. Bus service. EVER. Would have given negative stars if possible. One star is the lowest and way too generous. Totally unreliable.

Bus 325 was speeding and weaving in traffic at 8:25 am on Ridge Road in Evanston. Won't trust this company with my children's safety.

A friend and I recently rented the Blue Trolley Party Bus from Limotainment, and unfortunately, my…read moreexperience fell far short of expectations. While my group and I made the best of the situation and enjoyed ourselves simply because we were together, the condition of the trolley and the service provided were incredibly disappointing. First, the photos and descriptions on the website are very misleading. The trolley looks modern, clean, and well-equipped in the images, but in reality, it appears to have had little to no upkeep. The bar areas were dirty, there was no ice as promised, the TVs didn't work, and there was no light show. The heat and defrost didn't function, which made for a very uncomfortable ride on a cold night. Additionally, the blinking lights throughout the trolley suggested an electrical issue, which was not only annoying but also concerning. On top of that, the driver was rude and unprofessional, further souring the experience. While the company did issue a $200 refund, it was nowhere near adequate for the significant shortcomings of the service, especially considering we paid $930 for three hours. I suspect the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this company are not entirely genuine, as my experience does not align with the five-star reputation presented online. I hope this review serves as an honest account to help others make an informed decision. While I appreciate the partial refund and the memories my group and I made in spite of the circumstances, I would not rent from this company again. If Limotainment wants to maintain their reputation, they need to improve the upkeep of their vehicles, ensure amenities match the advertised descriptions, and prioritize customer service. Attached are two photos of how the trolley looked when the lights were off, and then when they popped on all by themselves. You'll notice the old fashioned, kitchen-like fixture in the ceiling. Nothing like the laser light show in the photos that's on the website. I wish I had taken photos of the empty dirty bar areas, with no ice that was also supposed to be provided.

AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE. I've been relying on this service for years with very few problems, but…read moretoday gets 1 star. The driver seemed very grumpy and was telling US to hurry and get loaded after several of us had been waiting since before 7:45 for what was SUPPOSED to be a 7:50PM pickup. This is Saturday night, not weekday rush hour, btw. I called the office twice; was first told the driver was 20 minutes late. When it was 8:30, I called back and was told the driver got stuck on the tollway (apparently she was actually struck by a car) and would be get another 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes later, at 8:45, a bus finally showed up at the Int'l terminal, but is now picking up from the rest of the airport. Of course half the people didn't/don't have their tickets (or don't know how to pull up on their phones) so he and the ticket woman had to do all that; then sit at the last pickup point until 9:15, but they are still trying to get all the tickets out of people. By the time we get out of here and on the road, we won't arrive at my station after 10PM, and I still have to get a ride from there. They really should have some kind of announcement system and backup plan available. I'm exhausted and this is just the last thing I needed. I will have spent 3 hours at the airport because of this added to the usual international arrival rigamarole. At least the driver and ticket lady could have been friendly and apologetic, but they are being neither. Have yet to hear any kind of apology or explanation. Not okay. We are finally leaving the airport. It is 9:22PM. For a 7:50 scheduled pickup. I am not a happy camper.

Our tour guide was a retired high school history teacher and football coach with all sorts of interesting stories about the region. We passed Mount Baldy, the "living" sand dune that moves, at Indiana Dunes National Park and made it all the way down to a good view of the Century of Progress homes before making our way back. We also got to hear all about the ship, the Emita II, which is a historic ship from the 1950s, and about how it reached its current home. It was also very cute that Captain Jan had the kids come up and take turns at the wheel on the way back. There is a snack bar on the lower level of the boat, and there are restrooms on board. Free parking is available a little walk away - walk towards the Lighthouse Museum, as the dock is behind there. Definitely a great adventure!

Only complaint is there was a group with a person who should have been cut off from being served any more alcohol but her friends bought it for her.
