Well, I have learned that help is not always in the words of experience, but wisdom, encouragement, and motivation to help yourself. Sometimes, we just need a boost to keep our spirit alive, and maybe, just maybe...adjust our perspective!! Honey Sheff has taught me more about myself (and my perspective) in two years, than any self-help book, neighbor, family member, or friend ever could. This led to our credit card being charged, instead of insurance we were planning on putting on file at her appointment. Even though services were not rendered, we understand they have a cancellation policy, but we at least wanted to resolve the situation and hoped for flexibility to bill our insurance. Instead of being reasonable, responsive, and assisting us, the receptionist was difficult to get ahold of and rude on more than one occasion. When she finally got back to us she told my wife she could have just had a telehealth appointment, except the appointment was already over, so it would of been impossible to attend. Insurance has yet to be billed as of this review. We feel it is very unprofessional way to go about this, while we are already going through a difficult situation. This has left a bad taste in our mouth regarding The Montfort Group, which is unfortunate because we really liked the therapist.

She's been such a solid support-not just a dietitian, but like someone who gets it. It feels as if she's not only a dietitian, but also a friend/therapist sometimes because we talk about everything including food, habits, emotions, etc. She listens, doesn't sugarcoat things, and really helps me work through both food and life events because in the end, everything's connected.
