I have mailed quite a few boxes from here since they offer all major courier services. There FedEx price is very very reasonable. They also provide Notary service, very professional people. I also used them for passport pictures, my baby was not being cooperative and the guys that were there couldn't have been more patient & helpful in getting the baby picture taken. read more

I went to this store to send a letter by Fedex/USPS after checking the prices on the respective sites. I found that Postal Annex's prices to ship are 30% more than the price charged by FedEx or USPS. In my case,they were charging $26 for shipping a FedEx envelope. I went to a FedEx staffed location which is close to this place and got a price of $19. I do not recommend using their services for mailing unless it's absolutely necessary. read more

Terrible experience, had to wait more than 15 minutes, if I wanted that long of a wait I would have gone to the POST OFFICE!!!!! 1 person working only, lots of customers waiting standing around. The worst part? THE PRICES, almost 3-4 TIMES the cost of what it would cost at the post office and fed ex. I understand the convenience factor but ripping off your customers is a whole other issue. Stay away from these scammers. These guys don't know how to treat customers. in addition to overcharging customers. The way they talk to people is as if they are doing some social service during their free time. Prices are 3x or 4x more than other places. I made a yelp account specifically to warn everyone about this place. DO NOT GO HERE. PERIOD. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. Came in around 4 o'clock store was a little busy, people walking around like no one was helping them. I was looking for someone to help with a shipment overnight envelope FedEx and drop off of a UPS package. There was an Indian man with a mustache sitting behind a desk near the back of the store and it took him over 5 minutes to even acknowledge me standing in the store near the front desk. I asked him and showed him my UPS box and he goes "JUST LEAVE IT ON THE COUNTER!" yells at me from behind the desk. I asked him where and he said "JUST LEAVE IT THERE" a little concerned about how things were being handled I asked him if I could get a receipt for the drop off UPS package and he yells back "ARE YOU PAYING FOR SHIPPING!?!??" and I would have on another box but I replied, "no it's just a drop off" and his response was if it's just a drop off it's just a drop off if you want a receipt you need to pay for shipping!!!!" with a irritated attitude like what was I even doing in the store. He went back to helping someone at the desk, completely ignored me and I proceed to take my packages elsewhere. After seeing that confrontation the blonde lady waiting behind me in line look at me and just said "wow......." and she walked out right behind me because she was done waiting too. Unbelievably BAD customer service. If you see an Indian guy with a mustache do not walk out of the store, RUN OUT OF THE STORE. read more

I will never go to this place again, despite the fact that it is more convenient than my local post office. At first, I liked going there b/c the men who work there are very friendly and there are very rarely lines to wait in. After a few visits I noticed that the prices seemed to be higher than usual. But I kept going b/c I figured I'd rather pay the extra $ for the more friendly and faster service. There were times that I was downright taken back by the price of shipping, but I was too timid to tell them never mind, I'll go elsewhere. Recently I needed to return a few textbooks that I had purchased, and I knew that the shipping via media mail should be fairly inexpensive. I wish I could remember the exact prices, but I remember thinking that it was hardly worth it to return them since the shipping would be almost more than the price of the books. Again, I was too timid and too time-pressed so I went ahead and paid the high price. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I needed to return one last small paperback book media mail, but didn't have time to do it myself, so I sent my 14 year old son to mail it for me. I gave him a $20 and told him to mail it MEDIA MAIL or the cheapest rate possible (since sometimes media mail turns out not to be the cheapest). When I returned home and asked how much it had cost to mail it, he gave me $2 and some change back and said it had cost $17-something!! It shouldn't have cost more than about $5! I believe they were taking advantage of him since he was a kid and didn't know that it shouldn't cost that much to mail a small paperback book. Of course I can't prove it, but even if they weren't purposefully taking advantage of him I won't go back because of the prices. I'd rather wait in line and be served by the less-than-friendly post office workers than to be gouged like that. read more

I used to like this place. When I dropped off international packages here before, the old guy there would show me how to fill out the airway bill and tape the box up for me. Today I went there, there was a young girl and a young guy at the store. When I asked the young girl to check the airway bill I filled out, she said she cannot because she doesn't want to be responsible. All I asked was for her to check if I had accidentally left any box blank since she should be more familiar looking at these things than I am. Then the young guy standing next to her told me the same thing, that they don't want to check because they don't want to be responsible for anything. Well, if you don't want to do anything because you have a problem with taking responsibility, why work in a store? Why not just sit on a couch and watch TV - I'm sure no one would make you responsible even if the TV breaks down eventually! read more
