Unprofessional and disgusting (Store manager David? himself) I came here today with Amazon return boxes, lady on counter was kind and started processing my returns, just then another guy jumped in making sarcastic comment on tape! (Yes, 1cent a meter tape). He was talking as if he was doing me a favor by accepting return, I had to remind him Amazon pays UPS for return. But he went on and started raising his voice. When I told him I am gonna bring this to Amazon's attention, he refused to accept the packet. What a moron. My package was dropped off to this location and disappeared. It was not UPS fault since it was not picked up at all. I went back 3 weeks later and told them to review their surveillance camera, he refused! I don't even think they have one in the store. Threaten to take them to the court, he replied and said "go ahead!". I'am updating my review. I filed a complaint through bbb and until now, i have not received any response from the store. Today (3/2/16) i spotted the UPS truck that picks up packages from this store. We had a long conversation regarding the process of picking up and delivering packages. To make the story short, the UPS was not to blame regarding the disappearance of my package that was dropped off here. The only people to blame is either the manager, or the employees. Rude, rude, and rude. Came early last Saturday morning to try and ship a large expensive item. Older lady there seemed super nice (she never spoke though), but there was a younger guy working with a bad attitude or suffering from a hangover. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I had to return a box to Amazon and packed it with a pre-paid UPS label. The owner behind the desk asked to put it next to the door and said it will get shipped. Two weeks later, UPS label still didnt show it shipped. So I stopped by the store to check. The dude behind the counter was extremely rude. He showed a print out that says packages should only be handed off to staff and it is not their problem if it gets lost if I leave it in their store. He had the worst attitude and started implying that I was lying and never dropped off any package. Went back next day to the store, owner also said it is not his problem. I went to get a passport photo taken today. Easy breezy! I'd say I was in and out in 5 minutes tops. The guy who helped me out was super friendly, took my photo immediately and got a shot I liked in one take (he showed me a digital copy for my approval), and cracked a joke about how my photo would be ready in a week after he took my payment ($10.91 for two copies). I'd highly recommend this place for your passport photo needs. Call ahead for anything other than US, though, I overheard him decline to take someone's photo for a Canadian passport while I was there, so I'm not sure what their policy is for anything other than US. read more

this is a terrible place and I never wanted go back again. 2 months ago, I have 2 notary done. But, the paper were sent back because the guy forgot to sign his name on it. I brought that copy back, and the person denied what he did and he also said that is fraudulent. I showed him his stems and seal and asked to check his log book if that day I did ask for his notary. But he refused to look at the book next to him. because he did check the book while I was getting the cash to pay him for new notary. what a terrible service. read more

Just had my passport photo taken last Friday -- I read someone recommended it on Yelp. The guy was doing an ok job in term of taking my photo, but the whole environment is not ideal for photo, it's too dark and the background white board looks pretty out-dated. Today I compared it against my old passport photo, and decided to take it again some place else. Well, $11 is a loss I can take I guess. I went here to see what it would cost to send a package to El Paso Texas. they quoted me $22.00 to send it via Fed Ex and even more for to use UPS. SO RIDICULOUS as that is over double what it should cost. I will never give them my business. Staples quoted me just over $10 for UPS. This place really has everything you need. It's set in a very convenient location (Rivermark Plaza) where it's close to many small and large businesses, in the same plaza as Wells Fargo Bank, and a handful of restaurants, and a new Safeway. Tne Annex has most of the delivery services as needed and they're quite friendly. At times it gets a little busy, but what postal service doesn't during the busy hours of the work day? Along the back of their wall, they have different awards for consecutive years, so they must know and care for their job. It's just doesn't feel very homey. read more

Came in at 6:20PM to get something notarized, was told that there were 3 people in front of me and they would not be able to finish it up by their closing time of 7PM. Came in earlier the next day, the guy from the day before recognized me, apologized for the day before, notarized my 1 sheet ($10, BTW, not cheap for jst one page), made a copy and mailed it for me for free because he turned me away the day before. The notary (indian guy ) kept us waiting for long time when he is supposed to be serving us, he kept walking away to do other stuff . And this caused us barely met the shipping cut off time to send out a time sensitive document. The photo service here is terrible. They charged $14 for 2 photos which were terrrible. The lighting is bad and the whole setup for the photo is dark and low quality. I had to go to another photo shop to get them re-done. Their shipping service is not that bad. Hoping the notary services arent as bad. read more

I've always had great service at Postal Annex. The owner, Elias, is very helpful and courteous. I stop by often for my shipping needs. The convenience factor outweighs the additional surcharge I get for FedEX shipping. I have also needed a notary, and Elias was quick throughout the process. He sat me immediately down as I walked through the door, and even told me which signatures would not be required so that I would not have to pay for additional fees. I have encountered other notaries who would try to milk me for unnecessary signatures (and thus extra fees), but Elias stayed true and honest for my process. It's nice to see the humanistic side of a person... to assure you that it's not always about business. It turns out that he is also a car enthusiast. He noticed my keyfob, and correctly identified the exact model. I was quite literally stunned. It turned out that he owns two of the same vehicles, but we both got a good laugh out of that. We happened to be in the area, so I ran by here to get a document notarized on a Saturday at around 2pm. Unfortunately, their notary takes off at 1pm on Saturdays. Plus, it's $10 to get a document notarized. $5 Notary in Sunnyvale is faster, open until 5 on Saturdays and half the price. read more

They were busy but very efficient and very reasonable. This is a top notch place to get mailing, copying, faxes, keep a p.o. box, find unique cards- you name it! The service is impecable! The owner is extremely supportive of the community. I went there for notary public on 3 different occasions. Every single time he made a mistake in the papers and not only my work got delayed because the notarized documents were not accepted but also I had to go back to him to fix it. This last time, when I went back to ask him to fix the document, he would not accept to fix it and claimed that he followed the same procedure that he would do for everyone and no one else had any complaints. I showed him the government website which had given clear instructions but he would not accept to fix it claiming that the government website was not updated! I showed him that the form had 2015 date on it and government agencies usually do not change their procedures in intervals less than a couple of years. While I was trying to explain to him that the government had not accepted the format that he provided and I had no choice but to follow the government procedure to get my work done, he raised his voice claiming that I was wasting his time! I tried to calmly explain to him that he was the one who had wasted my time and had caused me inconvenience and trouble for providing an incomplete service (notarized paper). He told me to get out of his shop and never come back and he does not need customers that take too much of his time! read more

I had the worst customer service by a male employee while looking to get pictures taken of a baby for a passport photo. Extremely rude. Zero customer service.
