The employees at this location are lazy and do not care about customer service or value. They rush making pick up orders, they skimp on ingredients and forget items that are clearly on a receipt in front of their face-- so it's obvious they are rushing. Slow down and make the food properly, with a little care. It'll go along way! When the employees make the food properly, it is good. What was I thinking? I ordered a chicken salad salad and was not so impressed. The salad greens, cucumber, grape cherries were all fine, I just found the chicken salad way too filled with their white mixture (mayo? miracle whip? not sure). Ordered an Italian sub and basically got just bread. Hardly any lettuce, any meat, a slice and a half of tomatoes and ordered peppers that seem to have not made it to the sandwich. My wife ordered a sandwich that had two slices of turkey, no mayo, no mustard, no peppers, & no tomatoes that she ordered for the sandwich. This is the second time in the last month we've ordered from here and the sandwiches come back very disappointing. Sandwich Nirvana! Located in a office complex with plenty of parking near the shop. Fresh off a trip to Portland and my first experience with Potbelly and loving it, i decided this should be our first stop in Denver on our way to our hotel. I am very happy to report its just as good in Denver as it was in Portland. Food we ordered: A Wreck: A meaty fan favorite! Turkey breast, hickory smoked ham, Angus roast beef, salami, swiss. I go sans ham and fully loaded including the best topping the hot peppers. Chips: Zapp's Voodoo potato chips they have a good variety of Zapps but i find them to be lacking compared to say Miss Vickies or even the regular Common Doritos/Lays. We did go with Salt and Vinegar and BBQ both were just OK. Soup: Vegetable Soup which was very good, easily the best sandwich shop soup by far, hearty hot and tasty. Drinks: Oreo Milkshake - To die For this is a must have! Creamy thick and delicious Dessert: We tried the Chocolate Chip cookie and it was amazing as well soft chewy and delicious. This is an update to my previous review. The rating is the same. The food and service are consistent at Potbelly Sandwiches. I love being able to order on the app. I would have had it delivered today, but I picked up my order because of time. Valen, the manager greeted me, and he's always friendly. He thanked me for my order, and I know he meant it. Especially in these times when restaurants are struggling, I'm glad I can support this location. Now as luck would have it, as I was filling out the survey on my receipt, Valen called to check up on my order. Our new office is right down the street and since I forgot my lunch at home today figured I'd try out Potbelly. I was hoping to order online and just pickup but the system was down. This spot is my new favorite little sandwich shop! Way better quality food and cheaper than most places like Firehouse and Quiznos. It was very clean inside you could tell they take pride in their work place. I ordered a milkshake just to try and the manager even gave me a milkshake coozie they had extras of! I was so happy that this potbelly opened up in DTC! I got potbelly weekly in college and it became a staple sandwich in my mind so I really missed it over the years. I don't know what it is about their multigrain bread, meat quality, and their mustard but they are hard to beat and keep me coming back even with many sandwich places in the area. The prices are very fair when you consider ingredient quality and the size of their sandwiches. My go to is a the turkey breast with Swiss on multigrain or the TKY on flatbread. The fiancé loves the wreck, Italian, and the clubby. Overall I'd recommend getting the app, signing up for rewards and ordering for pickup- we've only ordered a few times and already earned a free sandwich. The staff here never make a mistake even with all the customization, and are always friendly in the short interactions when we pickup our to go orders. Happy to have them nearby! read more

I ordered a cup of classic tomato soup and the Mediterranean sandwich, just as it's described on Potbelly's website - hummus, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, cucumber, and roasted red peppers. The tomato soup is pretty standard, but the hummus has great flavor! Next time I order this sandwich, I'll add mushrooms to it for a little more substance, but if you're looking for a light, fresh lunch, the Mediterranean sandwich is perfect without any additions or substitutions. Try the mini oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! They're soft, chewy, tiny bites of heaven. What makes this a five-star lunch spot, rather than just an ordinary sandwich joint, is the awesome, friendly staff. While I was paying for my sandwich, I mentioned that I was apartment-hunting in the DTC and that I was worried because the Tech Center seemed so deserted compared to my current downtown Denver neighborhood. Mercy, who made my sandwich, came over to my table while I was eating, and we talked about my upcoming move and she recommended other nearby neighborhoods that are a little more lively than the Tech Center. She's really sweet and a good listener. She turned my crummy day into a great day! Thank you so much, Mercy! I ended up signing a lease at a DTC apartment, and it's a six-minute walk from Potbelly. Yes, it was a lunch hour, but watch what you are doing on the line. This sandwich started falling to pieces from bite #1. Don't do it! Every time I order something from this place, they mess it up. Today I ordered a Bowl of Loaded Baked Potato soup. I received a giant bowl of Chili. Not even the same color. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I ordered for pickup last week and headed over to the restaurant to pick up the food as it was marked ready on the app. The food was not ready and I waited for an additional 20 minutes for the staff to get two cups of soup to me. Today, I decided to give them a second chance since it was just a delay the last time and the food was ok. Today I got to the restaurant and again the order was marked ready when it was not. After getting to the store the cashier told me that it was not ready yet and the soup was still cooking, it would be about 5 minutes. It turned into 25 minutes for two cups of soup. I was slightly irritated since I had the same cashier as last week and today she was extremely rude and condescending. The manager came over and offered to give me something else. I let them know I would wait and wanted what I ordered. The manager then became irritated with me and walked away from me mid conversation. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and unable to manage their time well. Visited Potbelly by Union Station and received horrible service. It took at least 3 minutes for someone to ask me my order. They had 4 people behind the counter with two of them having a conversation the whole time. It took another 3 to 4 minutes for someone to put toppings on my sandwich and it was cold by the time I got it. I ordered two cups for water and the cashier charged me for two drinks instead and then was shocked and confused that I wanted a refund for the drinks. Then the manager came over and ask me what my problem was in a rude voice. I told her that they had horrible service and need to improve. She didn't like that I tried to kick me out of her store instead of improving the service. I told her I would happily leave after I get my refund. I then sent a complaint and she called my phone and tried to tell me if was my fault that her employees provided horrible customer service.
