    Combo #Dave's #1 2 Tenders w/ Fries - extra hot
    Wendy M.

My guy has been raving about Dave's for a while and tonight, we decided to seek out their Denver location. There's street parking but this is also N Broadway so we were thankful to find the underground parking garage - and bonus, it's spits you out right at the entrance to Dave's. The decor is artsy and graphic, with hard edges and lines but also very cool. I really liked the mountain scapes on one of the walls and the cool ski dude hanging from above. Despite being busy and having a steady stream of folks coming in, their waitstaff were on their game: friendly as in "lemme walk you through the menu" since I was new and super helpful. We didn't wait long until our buzzer alerted us. And then came the biggest chicken tender I have ever had. Extra hot is no joke either. I went for the cool, crisp pickles more than a few times. I had a couple of glasses of water too. All that said, I wouldn't change a thing. The chicken was juicy, tender and really, really well seasoned. Oh, and damn hot. I'm a spicy girl and might downgrade to hot next time, lol. Dave's hot sauce is more of a creamy confection and a perfect compliment. Add some cheesy fries and you're got the #4 combo meal. Next time, I plan to have one of their cool shakes. Yep, there will def be a next time. Sooooo good.

The food here is amazing. Watch out all other chicken places, this one has you beat. This is our 2nd time at Dave's and our 2nd location and both locations have been great. The #2 is perfect with loaded fries, we def didn't need to get the single with it. So next time we know. Hot is our sweet spot. The service at this location is.... Clueless? He got our order wrong and they try to get you to tip. Tip for what? He clearly didn't listen and they don't do anything. The other location I went to did not try to trick you into tipping. So I find it weird this one does. Nonetheless, the food is fantastic and everyone should check it out.

The workers are really nice. The food is really good. I recommend this to anybody who loves a good spicy or regular chicken. So good the ambience is really good..

    Dave's #2 2 Sliders w/ Fries

Got the Dave's #2 2 Sliders and Fries and an order of Dave's Mini Sliders, as well as an Oreo Topped Milkshake for delivery, packaged well, hot both in temperature and in spice. The milkshake was just a bit runny, even for a store close by, but comes with the nature of delivery I suppose.

I'm gonna offend so many loyalists by giving Daves an average rating. But to me, that's what they are. Maybe I did have to order Navhsville hot in order to be able to appreciate it. But my friends recommend Daves since we both adore Raising Cane's so I took their words for it. Unfortunately I found so many things different between the two. And if I love RC, I'm bound to not care for D. I can give a side by side comparison but that wouldn't be pretty. And the fact that I struggle to find parking in order to eat here further discourage me from visiting again. Sorry Daves. Sorry friends...

as a pescatarian, i'm thrilled with the cauliflower meat alternatives here! my cauliflower bites were crispy, well-seasoned, and filling. the fries are pretty good too. service is very quick. the restaurant itself could be a little cleaner, but for a fast-casual place, not bad at all.

My go-to Dave's as it's on my daily commute home from work and it's a banger! Workers are always so friendly, quick and accommodating. I usually get the tenders for that ~protein~ but my new obsession are the bites with medium spice after Yessica recommended it to me. Comes with 10 juicy white meat bites, ample fries seasoned to perfection, pickle chips, a slice of white bread, and three containers of sauce! I drizzled honey on top of the bites this time around and the mouthwatering mix of sweetness, spiciness, and saltiness of the chicken was so addictive, I was seriously considering throwing in a second (or third...or fourth) order for my next meals. Solid 10/10, if you're on the fence, definitely bite the bullet and try Dave's!

Dave's doesn't disappoint!! My brother lives in Denver so Everytime I go, we grab Dave's. Here's the highlights: Service: always sweet people ready to take your order. Ambiance: is clean and simple. Has a ton of personality. Food: great portions at a great price with amazing sauces. BUT the chicken is great without the sauce, that's when you know it's good.

    Sarah S.

Be prepared to get messy! It seems the messier the food is the better it tastes and this applies to Dave's! The tenders were big and juicy and perfectly spiced. I liked that I could decide the heat I wanted on my chicken. The staff were friendly and eager to help. I would definitely return! Notes: street parking is not good for this location. If you're lucky, you might snag a metered spot out front. However, there is a parking garage below! More than likely, you'll need to park there. Also, bathrooms require a code, ask staff for it.

Polystyrene . . . is not our friend (although it's a neat word for a game of Letter Boxed:)

At the end of July I received a Yelp message that referenced my review. It said one word only. And it said that it came from Dave's Hot Chicken. It said, "Liar." Now this is confusing to me. Who sent it? Why can't I get the Yelp app to show me who the message was from, aside from simply saying "Dave's Hot Chicken"? Why did the person say I was a liar when my photos showed that I was telling the complete truth? Why would Dave's -- if Dave's it was who was trolling me -- accuse me of not telling the truth when what I said was correct? That a company would single out a (former) customer and waste its time untruthfully verbally attacking someone for telling the truth about its practices is very scary. I'm going to dig a little deeper and see what sicko is responsible for that message, and I'll get back to you. But this is just weird. Sign me, David "mystified" M

Food is really delicious. The tenders have great flavor and fries were crispy. I also loved the sauce. The inside is kinda gross / scary. Service was good.

Now I want to make this location my go-to. Its location is convenient. On north end of the charming South Pearl Street, it's an easy access from I-25. Everything is so walkable from there to other shops on the same street or even on the other side of the highway. After entering the restaurant, I noticed that there is/was a large menu on the the left wall right at the entrance so I took the time to peruse before I turned my attention to the ordering counter. And there, a young lady with a very warm smile was already standing there staring at me with a pleasant "Hi". What an attentive service that was! I am pretty familiar with their menu although I did ask her some questions to which she replied with the needed information. One of the questions I had was about one of the sauces (that they offer complimentarily for chicken meat) and it's called piri piri. As far as I can remember, she said it's tomato based with a little spiciness (it might contain some red peppers as well.) Chimichurri was simply too ordinary as that is what I always get so I decided to go out of my way to do something not so ordinary; I got to be a little adventurous. What I ended up getting me was 1/2 of dark chicken, a side of smashed cucumber slices (salad) and a side of mac and cheese. Once my food was packed and ready, a different worker (male) handed me my food. He was also very polite and cordial. I always appreciate their top-notch customer service. I was on my way to work my side hustle downtown so this meal was what I needed to consume before that job assignment. Once I got to my car, I opened my bag and immediately started my early dinner. The dark chicken meat was perfected moist. The red sauce I got gave it a nice kick to the whole enjoyment of the main. The smashed cucumber is light and refreshing with some tanginess to it. The mac and cheese (I believe) is a vegan dish (am I right) but whatever they use to make the typical mac and cheese taste is/was still there with no sacrifice. And get this, nothing (absolutely NOTHING) was oversalted. Lately, I have been encountering more and more restaurant where they season their dishes with too much salt which truly upset me. Chook's conscientious way to cooking all the dishes is what I can appreciate the most. And the quality of ingredients they use are almost guaranteed. This place is simply not for chicken or sub or salad lovers. If you want to spend a casual after 5pm time, they do serve quality beers, wines and cocktails on top of soft drinks. As much as I appreciate this restaurant, I am not sure if it is talked about amongst my foodie friends. My sincere hope is that they utilize your business as often as I do. You deserve so much appreciation and accolades from them.

The person who took my order, who was a woman, was very nice at first. Then I started asking questions about the Rasta Pasta to see if they could take out any meat if there was any. Come to find out they have shrimp in their Rasta Pasta. She checked with the kitchen to see if they can remove the shrimp, and they said yes. I asked another question: can I know how much food comes with the Rasta Pasta? She said it's a big amount. I was wondering if I can get a small amount. When I asked that, she seemed so annoyed to go back to the kitchen to ask them if I can get a smaller amount of Rasta pasta. This is when she started to become a little bit rude. When she came back from the kitchen, she told me, "Yes, they can make a smaller portion of Rasta Pasta." But then, this being my first time at this restaurant, I thought maybe I could eat a little bit and then save the rest for later or tomorrow. I then changed my mind from a smaller portion to a bigger portion. I understand when you're dealing with an indecisive person at the moment, it can get a little annoying, but when you work at a restaurant, whether you're the owner or not, that is so rude. She then said this to me, "That's a lot of food for one person." Without her even knowing if I have siblings or not, or if I am sharing this with someone, she just assumed that it's all for me just because of how I looked (I had planned to eat a little then save it for the next couple of days). I do look a bit overweight, but for her to point that out, that's so rude. I almost cried in my car when I walked back to it after leaving the restaurant. I'm currently on a weight loss journey, but for her to say that and not even know me almost broke me. The atmosphere was okay at first, but obviously that went downhill as I was leaving the restaurant.
