Williams Funeral Home is premiere for their excellent services and handling of funeral arrangements. They are very professional and keeps everything classy and dignified. My grandmother had recently died and her remains were turned over and handled by Williams Funeral Home. Everything was excellent. The wake was beautiful and she was the only one they showed that night. My family was so caught up in talking and seeing everyone that we ran over our time to be finished with the wake but the staff did not rush us out. That was so greatly appreciated. This was not only displayed throughout the service but also during the business aspect of the process. Now to fast track ahead one year after mom was buried. On Memorial day this year (2019) family went to the graveyard to pay our honors. We drove down from ATL. We were heartbroken and saddened when we got there that a headstone had not been ordered and placed on mom's site as was promised (family member). So, hubby and I called Mr. Reid (Sr) for guidance and direction (a year later!). He remembered us. His service did not stop last Spring. when mom passed but he treated us as though we were still his customers. We were very touched and will follow through with his directions. I rated this funeral home with a 4 star only because they could use an update on some of their aesthetics (looks) ... modernize the facility. Other than that the facility was clean, customer service great and staff was/is very accommodating!

Most of my family who dies usually use their burial services. The funeral director is a good friend of my family on both sides. My grandfather and father has done construction work for them, residentially and commercially. So it's pretty much a no-brainer when it comes to burial needs. Her wake and her remains were handled with care. There was tons of family I haven't seen in years there. She had 33 grandchildren so there was tons of kids running around. As I was leaving the wake, one of the funeral home employees was talking very rudely to the kids that was there at the wake. I thought that was out of line but hey I wasn't their parent so I wasn't going to step in for them. Other than that, everything couldn't have been better for my cousin!!!!

I finally made it down to Augusta to visit my grandmother's grave. Upon arrival, I noticed the…read morecemetery looked plain and dated with a chain link fence around it. We drove around until we found the grave between two pecan trees (which was nice since my grandmother loved pecans when she was alive). As we were standing by the family plot, I noticed a stray dog walking along the fence as if the cemetery was his home. I also did not see a building or anyplace for someone to work there, which makes me wonder if they ever close the gate. We put our flowers on the grave, and left my grandmother at her final resting place. Hopefully they will continue to keep the grounds clean.
