Potluckers' menu is designed with sharing in mind. We were lucky enough to have not been of their pots, as we arrived around 10PM. BGC Stopover Pavilion's restaurants cater to the night crowd with some operating 24/7. A short walk to the Burgos Circle/Forbes Town Road area increases your finds further. This side of BGC (Bonifacio Global City) has already matured, built-up and with dining options evolving constantly.
The Twice Cooked Beef Short Ribs (620 PHP) is amazingly appetising, its sauce thick, yet light weight, none of the heaviness we expected from such an aromatic dish. Savoury, best describes our experience and this late-night last minute decision was well-worth the night crawl. The tendon portions are a bit tough, but a little challenge is no harm, the beef in general is tender.
The Orange Juice (75 PHP) is a combination of bottled and fresh fruit. Mostly composing of the former and a whole orange squeezed and a slice to decorate the drink. To be fair it tasted excellent a refreshing drink.
Their vibrant lighting drew my attention and having just awaken from slumber a great place to have a happy meal. The dining area is divided into neatly designed sections by their circular central counter that leads to the kitchen. The entrance of the restaurant has a nook with a high table for those titas/titos who enjoy their meal with some wine and aren't shy to spotted in the lime light. read more
