A Czech man once told me that the heart of an authentic check meal is the beer. And the beer has to draft beer (from tanks, never bottles) drawn by an experienced rapper to create 1.5 inches of foam to save the aroma. So, given the education, we did have fork tender Svickova with harmonious fruit and savory, sweet and tangy elements; velvety spiced Tartarik with crispy Topinky scratched with garlic. But in future I might simply skip dinner and go for copious amounts of beer and snacks!

I dunno if they heard that we were Americans and decided to upgrade the portions of our food to reflect that. But each entree should be shared by minimum two people! Half a duck, 4 racks of pork ribs, 3 kg worth of pork knuckles, mixed beef roll the size of an infant. Tasty on the first couple of bites but there were just SOOO much food - felt like a chore to even make it to half way mark. Overall - Best bang for the buck to say the least.

This was hands down, the best meal that I had in Prague. A friend of my friend, who I was traveling with, recommended this spot. Since it was pretty close to our hotel, we made it our first stop for lunch as soon as we arrived in the city. The service is a little bit slow but it wasn't too bad. Trust me, the food will make up for it. We started off with a couple of their beers, and a rosé Hoegarden (since I had never seen these back at home). Their brews were nice and crisp, and made a great pairing with the food. For food, I ordered the liver dumpling soup and the beef tartare. The liver dumpling soup is not as heavy as it sounds and was perfect for a cold day. The beef tartare was great as well. It came with toasted bread, and some fresh garlic. It was a little too much to eat by myself as a full meal, so I would recommend ordering this as an appetizer for the table to share. My friend ordered the roast duck, which came with bread and potato dumplings. It was definitely enough to feed two people. The best part was the price - all of this food and the beers only cost us $34 in total! My only regret was not coming back for another meal. Definitely make Potrefená Husa a stop if you're visiting Prague.

Another Czech traditional meal! Came here for the Svickova with a local CS and another CS from the states. She ordered for us and we also had a complimentary Czech drink. It was some kind of carbonated berry drink. The local said she had it a lot when she was a kid. This restaurant is filled with locals and there is a long line but it went by fast. They have seating downstairs so it's quite spacious. The staff is super friendly too. Now this dish, what is it? Braised beef and what they call a dumpling - seemed like a potato bread cake type of dumpling. The sauce was amazing. I'm still not into meat that much but had to try all the Czech traditional dishes. The meat wasn't dry so that's great. I think the sauce was the main player here. Czech dishes are known for their sauce and soup so sauce up! It was so creamy and flavorful. It's quite hard to describe sauces so just order it and you'll understand!

Great place for beer and some traditional Czech food. Got svichkova- first time having it. I like it!! With the jam it changes the game of the dish. Staropramen dark- love it!! I love all dark beer Great late night place to chat and drink

Based on service 3 stars. I only assume it was based on the fact I order the pork knuckle...but who knows. I simply noticed it took forever to get our food. Folks who came in30 minutes after us all were getting their food sooner.in hangry protest I suggested we storm out. #1 son hadn't finished his beer. I walked out fuming no one stopped by to apologize or explain what's up. Couldn't even order a second drink. It's hard to miss us you know. The wait staff had to pass us to deliver food from the Kitchen as well as bar maids to deliver drinks into he back. Our waiter was MIA for 30-40 minutes. I just got WiFi across the street and #1 texts me the food just arrived. So I came back. At #1s request they boxed mine to go, but offered to plate the entry. Mind you the store manager did ol all this. The food was ok. The pork knuckle was Very fatty on the outside but moist and flavorful inside. I added rosemary potatoes. And that stopped up much of the gravy. Our musician neighbor dining at the next table ordered soup and the huge mushroom burger. Of course the finished and left way before our grub came. Should have got that.

Our taxi driver recommended this place and I'm really glad he did! The beer at this place second to none, and the food is amazing! The service was super quick and everyone speaks english...including the menu! We started with a cheese appetizer and it was the best cheese dish I've had in a while. The goulash was super filling and the meat was so tender you could pull it apart with your fork. I would highly recommend this place!

Knee, very soft and tender. Delicious sauce!! Very big plates

We've been in this place for the third time now. This is one of THE most delicious Czech food restaurants/bars in Prague. And it's so cheap!! The staff is very welcoming and nice, speak English, which is not so trivial on Prague. The Venise soup is soo goood!! Also the brars are great! And I won't get started on the ribs.. Just OMG!! Practically every dish we ordered here is amazingly good! Don't miss out on this place! Enjoy!! :)

Spent 4 days in Prague and went to Husa the first night and now again on our last night because it was the best place we went to. The atmosphere is very chic and the wait staff is friendly with good English language skills. What puts it over the top is the amazing food at very reasonable prices. I will crave the Lefee ribs when I am back in the states. If you come to Prague this is a must stop. Only caution is to be aware of the portion sizes, they are huge and one meal can feed two people in most cases so don't be afraid to share.

The best "Husa" which we have visited in Prag Yummy! We recommend! Velmi pratelska obsluha, ktera vam poradi s vyberem toho praveho jidla k pivu. I v dobe plneho obsazeni, jsme meli jidli do 15 min.

The wings here are literally what my dreams are made of! They are breaded in this flaky light delicious breading, unlike the usual wings I'm used to in the states. Doused in this Asian style glaze, these babies literally melted in my mouth. This was also the first place in Europe I've found blue cheese dressing, so I'm counting that as a win as well. I made it a point to order off the Czech specialties section of the menu and have to admit the chicken filets didn't disappoint! I also sampled the salmon which was delicious. Overall this is a great spot in Prague. Near the tourist packed area but off the beaten path. The music is loud and the vibe is fun for all ages!

When you read the menu you might think this place won't be good or the combinations sound a little off but it is sooooo good. Then you find out dinner for two is around $10-20 & then you get really excited. This is our second time. We couldn't decide what to order so we got the meatloaf & goat cheese salad. It was better than expected. The meatloaf was around $4 & the salad was less than $7. Wen in Prague it's a must try for lunch or dinner We just got the bill watch out for the extra charge on the bread. The waiter offered I did not order it so I thought it was included because of the way he offered it up. It's not a lot but it's the point. Other than that the place is great

We are early diners and the only couple near us were also Americans on holiday. Our server spoke excellent English and guided us through the menu choices. After an appetizer of tomatoes and cucumbers in a light dressing, I ordered the sirloin in cream and my wife the trout filet. The food, like the service, was superb. Our server surprised us with a complimentary "shot" of a very strong Czeck liqueur at the end of the meal. we had a grand time and hope you will too!!

It was a pleasant walk from the Hilton Atrium Hotel, and the weather was beautiful. We arrived and were immediately seated and brought menus. The decor is nothing special, and it spoke to a nice Czech restaurant vibe. Our server was very good, promptly returning to get our drink order (I had a glass of Chardonnay and we both had waters). We were not super hungry, so we bypassed the appetizer and salad selections and went straight for the entree menu. My wife chose the Goulash and I selected the Grilled Chicken Breast. Our meals arrived shortly, and they were both hot. My wife loved the Goulash, which was accompanied by two large potato dumpling pieces. The gravy was thick and flavorful and the meat was fork-tender and delicious. My Chicken was a bit tough, but had pretty good flavor with the sauce. It was also served with a side of Gnocchi, that paired nicely with the dish. The advertised cauliflower and peas were a bit sparse, but the Gnocchi made up for it. Service was very good, with our water glasses refilled frequently and servers asking if everything was good. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal, though the Chicken could have been a bit more tender. If we get back to Prague, we would definitely like to come back and try one of the Duck dishes as well as the goose liver pate' appetizer. Ambiance - 9/10 Service - 10/10 Food - 9/10 Value - 10/10

Although the menu did not have the official name, I opted for The Cut (aka Šnyt), which is more foam than beer. For dinner, I went with the Veal & Cheese Rissole. The breading provided plenty of flavor to the veal & pork combo. The mashed potato had a very creamy texture. Unfortunately, the cucumber salad was the least favorite of the three. The shredded cucumber was akin to sauerkraut being drowned in water. I regretfully passed on the dessert. From my vantage point, I could not see anyone ordering dessert.
