Once I got in the chair, both assistants whose names were Ashley took great care of me and reduced my stress level and prepared me for the extraction. Dr. Akin is very personable, kind, and was gentle giving me the shot to numb the area around my tooth. Once the procedure started Dr. Akin made sure I was not in any pain during the extraction. Dr. Akin is very experienced and has the "wisdom" and skill to make sure my extraction was successful. I highly recommend Dr. Akin as your oral surgeon of choice!!

At one point he even removed an implant that had been poorly done by another oral surgeon. Gruesome, for sure, but he managed it with professionalism and personal attention. I have now moved away from the Canton/Potsdam area and am dealing with dentists in Westchester County. I miss Dr. Akin and his whole team.
